Elevated frontline modern apartment overlooking the sea and golf course with direct access to enclosed children friendly communal gardens and 2 large pools (with a further 7 communal pools in the complex) with sunbeds and umbrellas. Underground parking with lift straight to apartment door and 24hr security entrance. Puerto de la Duquesa is a pretty cosmopolitan marina which stands between 2 blue flag beaches situated between Gibraltar and Marbella with Malaga only 45 minutes away by car. The marina itself has numerous bars and restaurants with a wide choice of international cuisine. Bordering Duquesa is the larger resort of Sabinilla's, which has a very Spanish feel and where you can sample tapas in one of it's many Spanish restaurants or bars along the promenade or simply soak up the sun on the golden sandy beaches, that run as far as the eye can see. For the golfers among you, you will find several award winning golf courses within easy driving distance of the complex, the Duquesa Golf complex being the nearest which is just 2 minutes away.

Lovely relaxing break

Lovely spacious property with a terrific view. Quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty of space around the pool and just a short drive to the marina. We really enjoyed our stay

Duquesa apartment review

A spacious, well equipped apartment with a great outdoor space. About a 20-25 minute walk down the hill to Duquesa and Sabinillas. Lovely quiet pool area with lots of sun loungers available. Very helpful host. Would recommend.

Great common areas. OK appartment

Overall OK apartment. Quite far away from the beaches. Mountain side and view. Appartment has good kitchenware. Out of date decoration, matresses and sofa-bed. Good place, needs to be updated, not good value for the money.

Fantastic apartment equipped to a high standard - fantastic location

We had a fantastic stay at Coto Real. The apartment was equipped to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Awesome BBQ on the balcony where we sat and enjoyed food/drinks on the lazy evenings. The pool was less than a minutes walk from the apartment and perfect for a cooling dip after lying in the sunshine. The walk down to Duquesa is a pleasant 15/20 minutes stroll - and the port area itself has plenty of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes. Lovely apartment with gorgeous view

We stayed here for four weeks, and loved the apartment and the views. The amenities were excellent, and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was a little farther from the water, and the small port area of Duquesa, than we had realised. But it just meant we had no trouble getting our 10,000+ steps each day! Our only negative was the parking underneath. Very difficult to get in and out of, and the spaces are small and surrounded by posts that made it tough. We ended up parking outside the apartment and that worked just fine. The terrace was huge and we wished we had warmer weather to really enjoy it. Overall - a great apartment in Manilva and would definitely recommend it.

Falsche Entfernungsangaben/abgelebtes, muffiges Apartment

Wir haben diese Wohnung mit schöner Terrasse und Poolanlage aufgrund der angegebenen Strandnähe ausgesucht. Entfernung zum Strand beträgt jedoch 1,6km anstatt 0,4km. Nur bergauf, in der Mittagshitze und mit kleinen Kindern eine echte Herausforderung. Die anschliessende Diskussion mit der Vermieterin, lässt darauf schliessen, dass die Entfernung systematisch falsch angegeben wird; schliesslich lässt sich ein Apartment so besser und teurer vermieten. was unser Fall beweist. In Summe ist die Wohnung sehr abgelebt und muffig, vergilbter Sofa, speckige Sofakissen, Rollläden sind kaputt, keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, Ventilator fällt fast auseinander....von der Küche gar nicht zu sprechen...sehr alt und schmuddelig!

Apartamento amplio, muy limpio, muy bien equipado, con detalles que aportan valor. Algo retirado de la playa (mejor ir con coche), aunque en un entorno bonito, con hermosas vistas, y tranquilo, sin ruidos. Se debe mejorar el sistema de acceso al apartamento, no hay contacto con intermediario inmobiliario, solo comunicación del propietario en inglés por email, recurrimos a conserje de urbanización.

APARTAMENTO ACOGEDOR

La sensación al entrar al apartamento es como entrar en casa. Decoración y mobiliario acogedor. Menaje de cocina abundante, no hemos echado nada en falta. Fue agradable encontrar una cesta con productos de primera necesidad en la cocina y amenities en el baño. La parte que más hemos disfrutado es la enorme terraza en la que se puede estar a cualquier hora y que tiene unas buenas vistas al mar. Es recomendable llevar coche, porque hay un paseo largo hasta la zona de restaurantes y la playa. Recomendable para unas vacaciones tranquilas.

Excelente apartamento para descansar

Apartamento muy limpio, cuidado, con todo lo necesario (y más). Exquisita atención de la dueña, antes y durante la estancia. El complejo residencial es bonito tranquilo. Con fácil acceso a zonas comerciales en el discreto San Miguel de Sabinillas y a las playas de Sabinillas y la Duquesa. Sin duda repetiremos si hay ocasión.

A beautiful apartment

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, superb AC, excellent TV and WiFi, comfortable outdoor table and chairs, two lovely terrace loungers. Really well equipped for cooking, cleaning etc. Main oven a little tired but everything else spot on. The gardens are well kept, plenty of decent sunbeds, lovely pool. Parking was fine but a little tight, app worked well for opening the garage doors. Highlighted a couple of very small niggles which I am sure will be quickly attended to. Local port is busy at night but plenty of places to eat and drink. A car is a must. We visited Sardina beach locally and that was lovely. Sunshades in the apartment would really help as would a windbreak but its hard to improve on what we experienced to be fair.

Excellent property. Great pool. Terrace and views stunning. Child friendly, great WiFi. Brilliant restaurant 5 mins walk away ‘Nautilus’, next to supermarket. Well impressed with Coto Real. Amanda has answered all of our queries promptly and politely from taxis to tapas. She has helped made our first family holiday abroad very special. Only regret was we couldn’t meet her in person. Home from home

A great 5 weeks spent at Amanda’s Property. Well equipped and home from home. Very quiet and peaceful and the pool area so lovely. The pool is not heated but as the weather was so hot, it became warmer. It’s a 15 min walk to the lovely marina, which has plenty of bars and restaurants. On arrival, there was a lovely welcome basket and throughout our stay, Amanda’s response to a couple of minor maintenance issues was superb. It was nice to meet face to face, with her being there on the complex at the same time. DuQuesa is well placed for visits to Gibraltar and Ronda which are a must if you haven’t been. Tarifa is also well worth a visit. All in all, I would definitely recommend this property, although it is quite a hill to climb back up if you have any difficulties walking. however, there are lots of taxis available at a small charge from the port. Thanks Amanda for a great stay.

Amazing apartment. Amazing pools. Amazing port with Amazing restaurants Amazing beaches I'll be back

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean apartment with all the with mod. cons and many extras to make my holiday even more rememberable. Lovely gardens and pool area. Never too busy and always plenty of sunbeds to go round. 10 minute stroll to the port which has so many fantastic restaurants and bars for every taste and budget. Always sinerhinf going on in the evenings from live entertainers to outdoor craft markets. Beaches are sandy and clean and also within walking distance. Lovely welcome pack on arrival with all the essentials to us through until we got to the shops ....lovely touch! Can't fault it. We will be back!!

Una semana estupenda

El apartamento es precioso, limpio y muy bien cuidado por dentro. La estadía fue muy agradable. Las piscinas son geniales tanto si vas en familia como si vas en pareja. Queda muy cerca de varias playas, 5 minutos en coche. Las playas no están abarrotadas de gente y la arena es fina. Queda también muy cerca del puerto deportivo en donde hay una gran cantidad de restaurantes y bares de copas de donde escoger. Desde el puerto deportivo hay acceso a la playa, por lo que después se cenar se puede ir a dar un paseo a la orilla muy tranquilamente. De verdad que repetiríamos sin dudarlo, solo que la próxima vez nos iríamos más días :)

Fantastic apartment!

The accommodation was spotless, very well decorated and equipped. Air conditioning system worked perfect as other amenities. We loved the terrace, very spacious with comfortable furniture. Welcoming basket was waiting for us at arrival. Amanda is a great host, very informative and helpful. We had really great time there and were very sad to have to go back home. I highly recommend the apartment and if I ever go again to Costa del Sol I will definitely stay in this apartment! Thank you Amanda for everything!

Brilliant!

When we arrived, we were delighted by the tasteful décor and cleanliness of the apartment. Spotless! The views are stunning. All set in lovely, beautifully kept gardens with 2 easily accessed pools. The port and beach are only 10 min. walk away with lots of very good restaurants and night life - something for everyone Every need was catered for, even washing machine, and outdoor barbeque on the comfortable terrace with, Cannot fault this appartment - going to book again for next year!

Most fantastic apartment we have ever stayed in.

What a fantastic apartment! Has everything you could want from the BBQ on the terrace a jacuzzi bath and a very well equity kitchen. The pools were great and never busy and we could walk to the port for all the bars and restaurants in the evenings which were buzzing. Everything was spotless and high quality (Egyptian cotton sheets! ) Amanda also supplied us with a welcome basket full of goodies like tea wine and milk which was a lovely surprise. We will come again!

Lovely, spacious appartment with sea view

We (family with 2 year old) had a great time in Amanda's appartement. Which has all the comfort you need and is lovely decorated. We enjoyed Nice barbecues on the big terras. Because of the parking garage the car was always cool. Our grandson couldn't get enough of the swimmingpools in the garden. The small town was nice with a lovely harbour and nice beaches. The service from Amanda made sure we had a lovely holiday.
