After years of fantastic skiing, walking and biking, we have listed our wonderful chalet for you to enjoy too ! - Beautifully restored 250 year old luxury stone and wooden chalet. Comfortably sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. Very spacious at around 130m2 and laid out over 3 floors. Large open plan lounge and dining area with 4 meter high old wood beams, woodburner and full length balcony with 180' south facing, unrivalled alpine views. Comfortable new and vintage Scandinavian furniture. Fully equipped modern kitchen. Underfloor heating and laundry room. Located in the peaceful South-facing alpine conservation village of Sarreyer, at the same altitude as Verbier town(1540m). Easy access to Verbier/Four Valleys for winter and summer sports. In Summer, Verbier town is just 10 minutes away by car along the quiet old road. In Winter, the express lift to Verbier town/Four Valleys ski region is a 10 minute drive down at Le Chable, whisking you over the heads of frustrated queues in Verbier centre. With free parking at Le Chable and no queues, its faster to the top of the mountain than staying in Verbier town itself. Known locally as a rare gem, Sarreyer offers all the advantages of access to Verbier while staying in an untouched alpine village.

Sommer in Sarreyer

Das Wetter war gut - wir hatten von allem etwas. Wir waren oft zu Fuss oder mit dem Auto unterwegs. Auch mit ôv ist möglich, wenn man sich nach dem Fahrplan richten mag. Einziger Nachteil, da die Zimmer etwas klein sind, gab es keinen Rückzugsort für die Teenager.

Super-gemütliches, ruhig gelegenes Chalet

Absolut empfehlenswert, abseits des Trubels, ein paar ruhige Tage in einem top-eingerichteten und gemütlichen Chalet zu verbringen. Zusammen mit einer hilfsbereiten und immer erreichbaren Agentur, ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Bel endroit reposant

Le chalet est confortable et bien aménagé avec un belle vue sur la vallée. Village calme et escarpé ( ;-) ) avec beaucoup de départs de randonnées. Bonne communication avec le propriétaire

Sehr schöne Wintererfahrung

Schönes renoviertes Appartement in einem uhrigen Haus, in einem ebenso schönen alten Dorf. Sehr sauber, alles vorhanden! Zimmer unter dem Dach evtl. nur von Kindern zu nutzen (Deckenhöhe); Unterbringung von Jacken, Hosen, Hemden etc. in Sidebords und an Haken; aufgrund der Bauweise keine grossen Schränke vorhanden, ggf etwas einschränkend. Sehr gemütlicher Wohn- und Essraum. Sehr netter Vermieter, auch wenn nicht vor Ort, jederzeit hilfsbereit! Gerne wieder

Belle semaine!

Chalet confortable dans un très joli village. Le temps spendide pendant toute la semaine a été évidemment un atout supplémentaire (balcon ensoleillé toute la journée). Compter 20 minutes de voiture pour se rendre aux télécabines du Châble.

Wunderschön gelegenes Chalet mit allem was man benötigt

Das Chalet ist wunderschön gelegen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was benötigt wird, fussläufig erreichbar sind ein kleiner Tante Emma Laden der auch mal ausserhalb der Öffnungzeiten aushilft und ein wunderbares Restaurant. Einzig das oberste, kleine Doppelzimmer muss gebückt begangen werden, ist besser für Kinder als für Erwachsene geeignet, aber für eine Woche war es ok. Vor allem der Ofen hat für große Behaglichkeit gesorgt. Verbier ist in 15 Min. mit dem Auto erreichbar. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

A cosy chalet in a lovely village

The chalet is in a charming village with modern and clean interior. We stayed for a week as two families, eight persons. It was well enough room to cook, eat and play together in the evenings. Everything was well equipped. Rupert gave us a very good experience, the correspondence was more than friendly. There is a little restaurant in the village around the corner with nice cheese fondue. We used our car to get to Verbier for Skying and Shopping, which takes around 20-30 Minutes (we wen't down to Bagnes and back up to Verbier). Additional space for parking is 5 minutes to walk, it is ok to load/unload the car in front of the entrance. We had a wonderful holiday in Sarreyer.

Our children love skiing and mountain biking straight from the front door in Sarreyer and that's why we restored this beautiful 250 year old farm barn into an incredibly comfortable and welcoming home. Its the perfect place for us to come as a family and unwind, whether we ski, mountain bike or just relax and walk along the old road to Verbier. Absolutely the perfect restorative to contrast our hectic lives.

You have the best of both worlds in Sarreyer, with all the benefits and access to Verbier and its outstanding skiing and mountain biking facilities, yet far enough removed to provide an utter tranquility that we've not come across on any of our extensive travels around the world.
