Beautifully appointed and recently refurbished, 2 bed penthouse apartment

Newly renovated, throughout, to a high standard, our two bedroomed apartment (sleeps 4), with A/C in both bedrooms and lounge/dining area and recently installed fibre broadband WiFi, is just a 5 minute stroll to the popular Burriana Beach area of Nerja, with its many cosmopolitan restaurants, beach bars and shops, and just a 20 minute walk into Nerja Town Centre. The apartment is on the top floor (Floor 2), with lift and secure access. A private, undercover and secure parking space is available.
The well maintained gardens surround the small children's pool and the larger pool.
Days can be spent in the seclusion of our large terrace with its sea and mountain views.
We are now, as required by law of all self catering apartments in Andalucía, fully registered with the Junta de Andalucía (see registration number above)

Another great stay here.

Definitely home from home having everything necessary for a lovely holiday. Fabulous balcony with sun most of the day to enjoy a beer/gin and tonic and maybe a little tapas!!

Great apartment

Wonderful stay in Nerja!

Apartment was great and very well equipped. We especially loved the balcony and enjoyed breakfast out there every day. Very peaceful sitting out on an evening. You can tell it’s a very well cared for holiday apartment. Easy to find and check in straight forward using lock box. Pool was very clean and quiet. Short walk to beach.

¡Excelente estancia en la urbanización Valparaíso!

Ha sido un acierto escoger nuestra estancia en este apartamento. Es muy acogedor, te sientes como en tu propia casa. La urbanización es perfecta para ir con niños y la cercanía a la playa de Burriana es genial. Estamos deseando volver a Nerja y volver a este apartamento. Mike es el propietario y es muy amable. Estancia perfecta

Al apartamento no le falta de nada, tiene hasta juegos para los niños y sombrillas para la playa, nos pusieron cuna para nuestro bebé y una bañerita, está muy bien situado y con un parking muy cómodo. Por poner un pero, los colchones de la habitación de dos camas están para cambiar, aunque nuestra hija de 4 años durmió perfectamente.

Excellent!

Provided us with everything and more! We could tell this property is very well looked after and so homely. Location is perfect, short walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk into town. It’s also a 5 minute walk up to the supermarket which is so convenient. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Muy buen apartamento. Totalmente recomendable.

El apartamento está bien situado. A las distancias de la playa, supermercados y restaurantes indicadas por los propietarios. El apartamento cuenta con mucho menaje y esta muy bien cuidado. La urbanización está muy bien mantenida y cuenta con 2 piscinas. Todo muy limpio. Además, dispone de plaza de una plaza de garaje muy cómoda y de fácil acceso. La comunicación con el propietario es excelente.

Great apartment close to Burriana beach

Everything you need in this well appointed apartment. The coffee machine and liquidiser are an added bonus as well as all the tv channels you could wish for especially the sports ones. Nice balcony with full sun, great for lunching or sunbathing.

Wonderful apartment

This apartment was ideal for the 2 of us. The sunloungers on the balcony are superb. The aircon did the job at night. We tended to use the burriana beach side of nerja so the hill was not too bad. Supermarket up a steep hill do a big shop save you going back every day. The apartment had everything we neefed. Tremendous value for money

Great location

The apartment is well equipped, clean & comfortable with a great fully furnished terrace. The sandy beach is a 5 minute downhill walk & Nerja old town is 20 minute stroll away. The underground car park is great, although a car is not essential. Mercadona supermarket just a 5 minute walk away. The area is hilly but this did not give us any problems. There are bars; shops & restaurants all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. There are good TV and internet facilities. Mike & Val made booking easy & were quick to respond to any queries we had. We had a great time and the weather was fantastic. We would definitely return.

A beautiful apartment

We had a most enjoyable few days in this beautiful apartment, with stunning views and everything we required for a very relaxing break. The apartment is very well equipped and is like home from home. It is in a beautiful area of Nerja and we hope to return again in the near future. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to family and friends.

Comfortable flat, good location

We stayed for 5 days in August. The flat is very comfortable with everything you need and the air conditioning was very welcome. The apartment has a great terrace and a view of the sea in the distance. The beach is in walking distance and there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants there. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just like your own home in the Sun!!

We've just returned from a 10 night stayed in this apartment on the recommendation of a family member who had stayed there previously. As mention in all the reviews this apartment provides guest a high standard of accommodation at extremely competitive rates taking in to account how close you are to the beach and is a real home away from home with every conceivable item you can think to make a holiday stress free. We enjoyed the uses of the private terrace which gets the sun from morning to late evening and is larger enough to give you the option of both sunbathing and/or dining. The bedrooms in the apartment are both a good size with extremely comfy beds and with ceiling fans in both rooms in addition to the A/C made it very easy to sleep at night. Also the apartment has the usual Irish & UK TV Channels available along with excellent WI-FI. We would like to thank Mike & Val for the used of their beautiful apartment and complement them of the how easy they make their booking process. Also we like to say a special thanks you to their agent John in Nerja who helps us with a minor issued with the air con on our first morning there which was sorted during the time it took us to have a relaxing brunch in Nerja. All in all we would recommend this apartment to all and we are extremely impressed by excellent service provided which made our holiday that much more special.

Beautifulapt that really enhanced our hol

Mike and Val have equipped their accommodation to a high standard - a real home away from home with all you need in the sun. The apartment is lovely, ideally located to the beautiful Burriana beach. All the holiday info is provided in a folder which is full of useful tips that enabled us to quickly navigate our way around this beautiful area of Nerja. We loved lounging on the big private terrace having breakfast out there in the morning sunshine, sunbathing when it was too busy on the beach and enjoying a glass of wine or a beer. The gardens and pool around the apartment block are beautifully kept. From the moment we contacted Mike we received a warm friendly and efficient service and a wealth of information before the holiday and in the apartment. We had a totally enjoyable week and will certainly recommend it to friends - but you need to get in early as this apt is heavily booked. The welcome pack is an excellent little bonus. We look forward to a return visit.

Val and I (Mike) have owned the apartment since February 2008. We have made many changes since taking over, including refurbishing the kitchen and bathroom, installing air conditioning, WiFi and Internet TV, purchasing new, more comfortable sofas, 5ft bed and dining suite, as well as adding extra touches to the equipment in the kitchen and to the bed linen. We very much want guests to feel that they are in a 'home from home'. We use the apartment regularly for our own holidays and never tire of the charms of Nerja.
We want all guests to leave with a feeling of having had a comfortable and relaxing stay and encourage comments to improve our service in our Guest Comments Book.
We have an excellent manager, who can be contacted whilst in Nerja, who will endeavour to sort out any problems that may arise.

Why they chose this property

We first came to Nerja on a package holiday with our 2 children, then 16 and 13 years old, in 2001, and stayed at the Marinas at the far western end of Nerja. What we liked about Nerja was its unspoilt feel. Although never having visited the Costa del Sol, we had images of high rise hotels and construction work going on - this was not the case. Since then we have been coming back to Nerja at least once a year ever since, never tiring of the place. Even now you still get the feeling that it is very much a Spanish town which also has a lot of Brits in residence. Yes, there are English bars and places to eat, but with a little thought, there are still many traditional Spanish places to eat and drink.

What makes this property unique

Because of the relaxed nature of Nerja, holidaying here always leaves you returning home very relaxed and, in our case, wanting to come back for more. The apartment is close enough to Burriana Beach and its amenities, as well as the town itself, to stroll down to, however, it retains a sense of tranquillity by being just that little way back from the 'frontline'.
