Lovely maintained and quiet apartment with great views and close to local amenities and city centre. Stayed there for a week and plan to stay there again next time I’m in Worcester. Highly recommended.
Comfortable, well-equipped apartment in good location
Nicely furnished apartment with comfortable sofas and beds, and a good array of kitchenware. Easy walking distance to cathedral and city centre along riverside path or beside the canal. Quiet at night. 42 steps up to the front door - fine for us but may not be for others. Only problem for me during a hot week was the window-doors, which I could not open in the main living room as they are so stiff. On the days when my husband was staying, even he (who is much stronger than me) had trouble getting one of them closed and locked again. The designated parking space was occupied by someone else's car for the whole week, but we managed to use a visitor space most of the time.
This property was perfect for us and we enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect, with beautiful walks along the river and within walking distance to many shops. Property was very clean and everything needed was provided. Loved all the doors, and the brightness and fresh air they let in, although some were bit hard to open. The beds were ok, but could use a little more padding, and the pillows a little flat. Overall, we would highly recommend this place and would definitely consider staying again.
A spacious, well-equipped apartment - quiet and comfortable - in a delightful location. Good walking immediately adjacent, and easy access to the city.
We actually left the car behind for this holiday and used the train - really no difficulties, although guests need to know the Station is a 25 minute walk. Taxi costs £6.
The apartment is spacious, well equipped, comfortable and perfect for walking into Worcester for shops and restaurants. We walked for miles along the Severn and the canal towpaths. It is quiet and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We had fantastic weather so having a balcony to sit out on was an asset. We have already recommended it to friends who might visit that area in the future. We travelled out and about as well visiting the Malvern hills, Stourport-on-Severn, Upton and the NT at Crome. We would highly recommend the restaurant Thai on the Severn, a 10 minute walk away.
Perfect location, 15 mins along river or canal to city centre. Also only 25 mins to walks in the Malverns.
The apartment was a good size and had everything you need , a real home from home .
Situated in a quiet area and very close to all the canal and river activity. The apartment has everything you need and is very light with windows all round. Sitting on the balcony with a cold beer and watching the sun go down was a delight. Very comfortable.
Lovely helpful people. The flat was very clean and pleasant. The views from the flat are amazing, the photos on the website do not do them justice.

Absolutely stunning apartment in a lovely setting
Very well appointed apartment in a lovely setting. The city is clean and very welcoming with loads of character. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be returning, again looking to stay here. Both the city and apartment are hidden gems

Quiet, convenient, comfortable and well-furnished
My wife and I stayed for two weeks visiting family in the Worcester area. The apartment was ideal for us, as it is in a quiet and safe new residential neighborhood that is only a half-mile walk to the Cathedral and the start of the city centre. It also has a convenient reserved angled parking spot on the lightly traveled one-way street and was easy to reach off the main roads. We like to walk, so the charming paved path along the Severn River towards the city was something we did every day (we also got our exercise climbing the two flights of stairs to the unit – there is no elevator in the building).
The one-bedroom apartment was roomy for two people and thoughtfully furnished (see their photos). The design of the nearly floor-to ceiling windows let in plenty of light during the day, and four doors that led to a balcony or viewing areas could be opened to let in a cooing breeze after warm days. The two beds (twin only) in the separate bedroom were extremely comfortable and the windows have excellent sound insulation, so we slept well. Since the building is not adjacent to a busy road and there are no late-night services nearby, it was remarkably quiet at night.
We used the completely furnished kitchen to prepare most of our meals (large full-sized fridge with freezer, oven, range, microwave, toaster). There is an excellent Waitrose (with a large parking lot) a mile and a half away and the main Marks & Spencer in the city centre was less than a mile walk. The unit also has a combination washer/dryer and a dishwasher.
In summary, an excellent choice for a longer stay, if you don't mind two flights of stairs or using twin beds.

Wonderful apartment
My husband and I stayed here in July 2016 when our church choir was in residence at Worchester Cathedral. Unfortunately, he had a broken heel and could only walk on crutches or use a knee scooter. We made the best of it!! This apartment looks over the lock in diglis basin and you can see the canal boats coming thru very well from the balcony. It is also very nicely located for walking the river, shopping, walking to town and has restaurants nearby. It was very pleasant, wonderfully furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We would definitely stay here again. It was also very quiet at night and any other residents we met were very friendly. I would not recommend it to anyone with a disability as it does not have an elevator.

Home from Home
This is an exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean high spec flat in a central location. There are lovely interesting views from the numerous full height windows. The accomodation is extremely well furnished and equipped - with plenty of fluffy towels, nice comfortable beds and sofas, and everything required in a kitchen. There are 2 balconies where you can sit and view canal life! It is a very pleasant 10 minute walk into town with a choice of scenic walks either beside the canal or next to the river. The flat has a spacious feel and is very cosy. Highly recommended.
About the host
Hosted by John Dutson
As former residents of Worcestershire we bought the apartment in order to enjoy the many attractions Worcester has to offer and to catch up with friends. The beautiful Cathedral is really handy - just a short walk along the riverside - as is the centre of the City. The cricket club is within walking distance and rugby club not far away. We love watching the life on the waterways, both river and canal, near the flat - the narrowboats and the bird life. The Worcestershire countryside is beautiful. Lovely villages are close at hand with their eating facilities and, of course, the beautiful Malvern Hills for walking and soaking in the atmosphere, remembering that it was here that Edward Elgar found much of his inspiration.
Why they chose this property
We love Worcester and the location of this is peaceful but handy to the City and the river.
What makes this property unique
We find the apartment convenient to all facilities, yet very relaxing. Without leaving the comfort of the apartment, we can always find something to enjoy through the windows - it could be action on the canal, the gentle activity around or the far flung views over the city.
The walk along either side of the river, is a delight.
