There is a pretty spacious dining room with a large round 18th. century dining table and sideboard. The large living room has an open fire, a piano and french doors to the terrace.

There is a huge marble table with seating for summer eating on the south facing terrace and there is a sun umbrella and barbecue.

The Lulworth area is notable for its wonderful walks and and spectacular 'Jurassic' coastline including Durdle Door and Kimmeridge bay where there is the recently opened Etches fossil museum.

Superb house in a wonderful location
Comfortable house with amazing views. The kitchen was the best equipped of any we have ever stayed in and the set up was perfect for us. We could walk every day, and used the bus and train so the cars were mainly left at the property all week.

A comfortable spacious house
The house is in a beautiful location with views towards Lulworth Bay. There was space to unwind for all of us as a party of 4 years to 69! The house is a true family home with all that one would need. Lovely walks from the house and lots to see and enjoy.

Tremendous experience
This property stands out above all of the properties we have visited over the years. The location was perfect. The rolling hills, the beautiful coastline, the accessibility of walking trails and many more assets made this a wonderful experience. The home has a unique old-world charm to it. Beautiful art work throughout. Some done by the owner herself. The airy, spacious kitchen had everything to make meals come together very easily. The outdoor space was at the top of the list for this property. The terraced patio made the views amazing. Eating outdoors was very enjoyable with the large table and chairs . We also took advantage of the grass tennis court, the croquet set up, and even the ping-pong table in the outer building. There was always something to do if you ever got tired of reading a book in the most beautiful countryside in the UK. Jules, the caretaker, was very helpful when we first arrived. She provided suggestions on things to do and even loaned us a map for walking trails. She was available for any questions that came up. We also had some communication with the owner who was also very kind and helpful. I recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in a great home in a perfect environment. It's a place where you can leave all of your troubles behind and just enjoy the wonders of Dorset.

A beautiful home to stay in
We have been having family weeks together for a number of years and everyone said that this was the best ever. The spacious house was like an art gallery. The children loved the outdoor facilities, especially the trampoline and table tennis. We could walk everywhere , avoid crowds and enjoy this beautiful part of Dorset. Mary

A Hidden Jewel
We had one of the happiest holidays we could ever remember - filled with many shared memories. The Lynches was far beyond our expectations, we loved everything about it. Perfect for all the different ages in our family, an amazing kitchen(we cooked in all the time!) with lovely evening dinners outside on the terrace with that glorious view. The tennis court and trampoline was great for the children and the garden is just breathtaking. Jules, the Housekeeper, was so helpful and kind, rushing over on a Sunday when the power went out to quickly flip the fuse switch. All in all, it felt like home and we were very sad to have to leave. We all hope to be able to return again one of these years, there is just so much to explore in the surrounding area, we have only scratched the surface. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Beautiful holiday home in a great setting
Three generations of our family had a truly memorable holiday in this beautiful house with lovely views. We were very comfortable and loved all the artwork, which made the house so special. The weather for our week was amazing, as warm as mid-summer - we were very lucky. The children were able to play outside on the huge grassed area and explore the garden. We entertained our extended family for lunch, 18 people in all, and everything we could possibly need was provided. The caretaker was able to answer our queries and the owners were extremely helpful. We loved The Lynches!

Ideal family holiday
We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday here in July 2015. Bedroom layout ideal for three generations: six adults, three boys and one teething baby! Large kitchen opening on to a side terrace was very practical and the view from the front terrace, enjoyed with a few glasses of wine in the evenings, was fantadtic. Sitting room capacious and dining room could seat 12 the day friends visited. Boys enjoyed hunting for fossils at Kimmeridge, fishing off Swanage Pier, visiting Monkey World, exploring Corfe Castle, kite flying at Chesil beach as well as the tennis court and trampoline in the garden. Short walk to Lulworth Cove. Owners very helpful when booking and housekeeper on hand to answer a couple of initial queries on arrival. Can thoroughly recommend this property.
