The Linhay is a modern 2 bedroom semi detached property in the rural community of Redburn. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife it is a perfect base for walkers, birdwatchers, or those simply seeking peace and tranquility. It consists of a sitting/dining room, well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed plus bunk beds, and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. Patio doors lead from the living room on to a decked area with table and chairs, and a large garden area. The property is all on one level with no step at the front door, and so is suitable for those with limited mobility.
Redburn Cafe and Gifts is just 100m away, and Dundreggan Rewilding Centre is 1 km away, with it's own cafe and various lovely walking trails - ideal for exercising dogs.

Highland stay
This property was great and hosts delightful. It was a short drive to town and a great central location for experiencing the highlands. Our family loved it and all worked out perfect. Thank you and we may see you again in the future, the Whyte family.

Perfection
A wonderful secluded cottage in a peaceful and picturesque setting. Our hosts were very helpful answering any questions we might have had yet leaving us alone to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the district. An added bonus was the location of the Redburn Cafe just 50 meters from our door. Overall this is an ideal base to use when exploring Loch Ness, the Caledonian Canal and the Isle of Skye. A real little gem.

Perfect base
Excellent base for a 2 week break in the Highlands. The property had everything required for self-catering. We were also able to use the owner's garage to store our mountain bikes. Would definitely recommend the property for anyone who wants to get away from it all.

Hübsches Haus in guter und sehr ruhiger Lage
Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Die Vermieter Jill und Tony sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gut hat uns die Terrasse gefallen, von der aus man viele Singvögel beobachten kann. Die Dusche ist toll. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Staying in the Highlands
The Linhay is located in a beautiful spot that is central to many things to see and do in the Highlands of Scotland. The beds are comfortable, the shower is great and the kitchen is well equipped. The owners are right next door so always available to help. Dog friendly with great dog walks nearby, but keep in mind when booking, the shared backyard is unfenced and dog must not be left alone in the house.

Nettes kleines Häuschen gut gelegen
Für britische Verhältnisse ein nettes Haus. Allerdi gs nicht wirklich für 5 Personen geeignet. Zu dritt war es gut. Man konnte sich gut bewegen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet wenn auch der Kühlschrank gerade so reichte. Bedingt durch die Lage muss man sich ja mit Lebensmitteln bevorraten. Das Bad ist sehr gut gewesen, so auch die Betten. Check- in und -out sind unpersönlich und unkompliziert abgelaufen. Soweit alles in Ordnung

Schöne Ferienwohnung
Schöne Ferienwohnung, in der es an nichts fehlte, bequeme Betten und komfortable Möbel.Die Vermieter Jill und Tony wohnen nebenan, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit beim Organisieren einer Autoreparatur. Das WLAN ist stabil und reicht zum Streamen, was auch dringend nötig ist, da man keinen Handyempfang hat. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten, ein Auto ist dabei immer erforderlich. Für Hunde ist es auch empfehlenswert, aber das Grundstück ist offen und nicht weit von einer vielbefahrenen Landstraße entfernt.

ruhige Wohnung in schöner Gegend
Die saubere und großzügig ausgestattete Wohnung ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für jede Art Ziel in der Nähe. Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, Inverness, südlich der Kanal oder Wanderungen vor Ort. Die freundlichen Besitzer gehen auf Wünsche ein. Gern wieder, wenn Schottland erneut auf der Liste der Urlaubsziele steht!

A perfect location for a highland holiday
The cottage was extremely clean, warm and cosy. It was equiped with everything you could possibly need and was very pleasantly furnished and spacious. The outside area was wonderful and despite the cold and damp weather, it was a joy to watch the birds in the garden enjoying the well-filled feeders everyday. The location was great for exploring the whole of the Great Glen with so many places to visit, but was also quiet for restoring mind and spirit in the beautiful tranquillity of the Scottish mountains.

Een mooi vakantiehuis met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een aangenaam verblijf. Rustig in de mooie natuur. Een goed centraal punt voor een bezoek aan inverness, Skye of oban. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars waar je steeds terecht kan.

This little gem is a beautiful modern unit with a great little deck to watch the birds at the feeder
We loved the environment, peaceful, quiet and very dark at night. There are ducks near by and a great little cafe. The Redburn Cafe. Close to the Isle of Skye for day trips and loved the Coop in Kyle of Lochalsh. The bungalow was very comfortable and the beds were nice and firm. Very clean and sweet.

A Hidden Gem.
The cottage is close to the bottom end of Lock Ness and is tucked away just off the main road. The property is deceivingly spacious and fairly comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The ideal place to stay in The Inverness
We had a wonderful stay in Jill and Tony's home. The place was very impeccably clean, spacious, with everything you need to feel good. The owners are discreet and very kind, very welcoming. The house is very well located for visiting the inverness, 30 minutes from Loch Ness Centre and 1h30 from the Isle of Skye, but it is also pleasant to stay there to relax because the surroundings are beautiful. And a few steps away you can admire the famous highlands cows!

Wunderschöne Ruhe-Oase!
Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dem Haus fehlt es an nichts, es ist alles da was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub so braucht. Schön ruhig gelegen mitten in der Natur, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Die Lage ist ideal für Besuche von Loch Ness, Inverness oder der Isle of Skye.
