Sleeps 4 2 bedroom modern apartment located above Canerios Beach and situated just outside the traditional fishing village of Ferragudo with amazing sea views. . Large balcony. Air-conditioning to each room. Minutes drive into Ferragudo Village. You can walk out to several restaurants. Gusto, (Dutch) Piano Garden.( Indian ), Le Paradis (Portuguese) You can walk from the apartment to two beaches Less than 5 minutes .One been the well known Canerios Beach with its excellent fish restaurant extremely popular so booking is recommended. The second Pintadinho Beach a lovely sheltered sandy cove with Restaurant. 5 minutes drive to Pinta and Gramacho golf courses. Parking directly outside the apartment.The Slide and Splash water park is 10 mins drive. The property is managed by Concierge Algarve who are available to assist with any problems or help you may need during your stay (office based in centre of Ferragudo).

Spectacular view!

We couldn't believe the view when we first saw it! We spent most of the time on the patio in lounge chairs when we weren't sight seeing. We were within easy access for the Benagil Caves boat tour & that was gorgeous. We saw a lot of porpoises, too.

Allyson's apartment is in a wonderful location and very nicely furnished. The terrace with the view is overwhelming. We loved having breakfast outside and enjoying the fantastic sunset in the evening. There could be a little more shade so that you can also stay outside in the afternoon. The facilities leave little to be desired. George is always helpful and very friendly. We can really recommend the accommodation and would love to come back anytime. The area around Ferragudo is stunningly beautiful. We love Portugal

Traumhafte und ruhige Lage

Die FeWo liegt in einem ruhigen und gepflegten Teil von Ferragudo abseits von Straßenlärm oder Restaurants. Der Blick über die Steilküste Richtung Portimao ist vor allem Abends ein Traum. Die Wohnung mit 2 getrennten Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern ist ideal für 4 Personen. Man kann direkt vor dem Eingang parken. In der Wohnung war alles wie beschrieben vorhanden. Als kleine Kritikpunkte wären nur ein passender, ausreichend großer Sonnenschutz für die Terrasse und die Ausstattung der Küche zu nennen. Hier haben sich über die Jahre sehr unterschiedliche Geschirr und Glasvarianten angefunden. Eine einheitliche Grundausstattung und ein paar scharfe Messer wäre wünschenswert.

Gorgeous Location and View

We really liked the location (the unit has an amazing view of the ocean) and the townhouse complex. The unit needs a deep clean and some updated supplies. Some important items were missing that we had in other units we rented before this one, like tissues, hand soap, facecloths, a week supply of toilet paper, etc. The towels (beach & house) were limited and old (extremely rough to the skin). There were no instructions how to use the air conditioner or dishwasher (we ran a cycle 3x and the dishes still looked dirty). This unit has potential if it gets some TLC. The floors need cleaning inside and the patio could use a good sweeping and a new patio umbrella (the existing one was broken and it was often too hot to sit outside without an umbrella).

Sehr schöne Lage

Das Apartment ist schön und gut ausgestattet, bedarf jedoch einiger Überholungen. Ganz besonders zu erwähnen ist die tolle große Terrasse mit traumhaftem Blick. Ein paar Hinweise zur Gegend: Zwei schöne Strände sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Der Klippenwanderweg am Leuchtturm ist wunderschön. In den Ort Ferragudo läuft man ca. 35 Minuten. Für die Region ist ein Mietwagen auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, da es in direkter Nähe keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat. Ansonsten gibt es aber reichlich Supermärkte (sehr gut: Apolonia, wenn auch etwas teurer) und auch die Markthalle in Portimao zum Einkaufen.

Definitely one to come back to !!

The apartment is lovely, clean, spacious and very well equipped. Vila Gaivota is a perfect location, with easy walking to both Caneiros and Pintadinho Beaches which is great as parking at both of these beaches gets very busy. The pool at Vila Gaivota is lovely too, we were there in early September and the pool was not at all busy, so a lovely peaceful place to stop off on our way back from the beach. BUT the absolute best feature of this apartment are the stunning sea views from the lovely big terrace, which has sun most of the day. We couldn't recommend this apartment highly enough.

Superb appartment

We had a great vacation. The appartment was clean and spacious, the patio is big and offers a breath taking view. Minutes away by foot from a nice beach, it also offer a nice pool area. I highly recommand this appartment. The owner was also very responsive before, during and after our stay.

Fantastisk utsikt från altanen

Trevligt boende i ett lugnt boende. Fräscht och rent i boendet när man kom. Samt ett väldigt bra pool område där man kunde slappna av rejält. Underbar uteplats vid lägenheten med en fantastisk havsutsikt. En grej som saknades var wifi, då internet var mycket långsamt.

Très bon emplacement et vue mais pas d'indications pratiques

Le village de Ferragudo est un des plus joli de la région car n'a pas souffert d'une urbanisation excessive. L'appartement est très bien placé, calme, avec une très belle vue. les prestations sont conformes à leur description. Par contre, nous avons découvert par nous même au bout de quelques jours, que la plage était accessible par un chemin au fond du parking de la résidence. Aucune information n'était formulée afin de profiter au mieux de la région (restaurants, activités, commerçants de proximité, fonctionnement de la climatisation ...). C'est vraiment la valeur ajouté qui a manqué à ce séjour.

Stunning location/fab apartment

The view from the terrace is just amazing and breath-taking....even though the terrace is west facing it is so large that it gets the sun from around 10 in the morning until sunset.The apartment is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bed was so comfortable we slept better here than at home! The air-con was brill although you get a lovely breeze on the terrace and the apartment stays lovely and cool so we didn't need it during the day. It is brilliantly equipped with absolutely everything you need and there was great water pressure in the showers. This apartment is located in a very quiet residential area so a car is a must because there are no shops nearby but there are some restaurants and beaches within a 5 min walk. The cliff top walks are spectacular and Ferragudo is around a 5 mins drive away with lots of places to eat which were very busy even at this time of year. We really recommend this place for a relaxing, peaceful and hassle-free holiday. Many thanks to Concierge Algarve for their friendly welcome and help and to the owner for her prompt correspondence and information. We would love to return.
