The secluded and private property has been completely renovated and thoughtfully designed to provide a property that is luxurious, spacious and well equipped.The house was originally 3 cottages which have been seamlessly integrated into one large property whilst retaining three living rooms.The internal accommodation flows into the gardens through the numerous outside doors imparting a light and airy feel. There are plenty of areas to explore or relax in including large heated, enclosed pool, lawned areas, secret garden, children's play area, shaded terrace, fields, disused railway line and woodland. Families travelling with babies and toddlers will find everything that require. There are several pleasant walks and bike routes in the surrounding countryside. The area offers varied activities from the Lac at St Ferreol with beach, canoes, boats, crazy golf, high wire course to Saissac with a Cathar castle, Revel with a country renowned market to name but a few.

Lovely week in the French countryside.

This large property suited our needs exactly. The house is extremely well equipped. Of course, the heated swimming pool was a huge hit with both adults and children. We did have a couple of wet days but the children found plenty to do inside. We had a lovely week.

Maison pleine de charme avec très beau parc et piscine

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour entre amis dans cette maison pleine de charme. L'extérieur étant très grand et isolé, nous avons pu profiter des repas à l'ombre des arbres, se baigner dans la grande piscine ou encore jouer à la pétanque, des moments de joie et de partage. Le cadre est vraiment parfait pour profiter au maximum de L'extérieur.

Week-end de Noël

Nous avons passé 4 jours et 3 nuits avec toute notre famille composée de 9 adultes et nos 6 petits enfants dont 2 nourrissons. Séjour très agréable grâce aux 3 salons de la maison et le parc extérieur où chacun a pu trouver son espace durant le week-end de Noël. La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle pour un groupe familial tel que le nôtre. Nous recommandons sans problème ce gîte ! En outre , la personne qui localement gère ce gîte est très agréable et disponible.

Déception

Infestation de punaises, y compris sous les couettes, des heures passées à faire le nécessaire, et colonies de mouches dans une des douches. L’aspirateur n’a pas été passé avant notre arrivée mais juste au moment de notre arrivée. Piscine sympa mais peu chauffée. Tous les modes d’emploi en anglais… Pas d’internet et une personne coincée tout un après-midi pour attendre Orange qui n’est jamais venu! Aménagement de la cuisine pas assez fonctionnel et défectueuse, manque de matériel pour faire la cuisine ! Dommage car belle maison, très grande et bien placée, avec magnifique jardin.

Belle retraite à la campagne.

Prestation correspondante au descriptif, sèjour agréable, un vaste parc pour les enfants et le chien, un bémol pour la cuisine qui n'est pas très fonctionnelle. Les chambres et les salles de bains sont bien équipées et rénovées avec gôut, la literie est de qualité, donc agréables.

Excellent séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans cette belle propriété, propre et fonctionnelle, avec une grande piscine dont tout le monde a bien profité. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec beaucoup de salles de bain. La cuisine est aussi très grande, idéale pour cuisiner pour de grandes tablées. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu.

La maison était très agreable , les hotes attentionné (papier toilette en nombre , produits menagers, piscine chauffee) La maison a une super cuisine et est très équipée, il faut le mentionner mieux dans l'annonce:Jouets pour enfants ,très biens sécurisée pour les bébés donc super vacances pour les parents , chaises hautes , babyphones, nombreux salons Literie de super qualité et télé connectée, maison hyper propre La maison n'est pas hyper bien isolée et le wifi est faible mais le reste est tellement super que c'est pas bien grave

Superbe bâtisse dans un écrin de verdure !

Une très belle découverte ! Nous avons passé un week-end entre amis avec nos enfants & la propriété est très agréable, fonctionnelle (3 suites parentales avec SDB, une chambre lit double & deux chambres dont une avec un lit superposé & une avec un lit gigogne, idéal pour les enfants!). Le cadre extérieur est relaxant, la piscine chauffée un pur bonheur, nous reviendrons assurément ! Une belle découverte !

Formidable

Une merveilleuse demeure avec énormément de charme, très bien entretenue,grande, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée, notamment pour les enfants. Le jardin immense, composé de plusieurs espaces sécurisés est idéal pour laisser les enfants s’amuser. Cerise sur le gâteau, une immense piscine sécurisée avec tout le matériel pour en profiter pleinement. Nous étions 4 familles de 4, nous louons tous les ans des maisons ensemble, c est la meilleure que nous ayons faite. Nous reviendrons et la recommandons vivement !

Beautiful home with everything you could wish for. Extremely well equipped in well kept grounds.

With ages ranging from one to sixty four this house has something for everyone. In a beautiful part of France with lots to see and do we had an amazing three weeks. Definitely at the top of our list for a return visit. The owners have thought of everything you need for a trouble free stay and we wanted for nothing.

Casa no campo

Viajamos em 10 pessoas (5 casais) e sentimos falta de um banheiro a mais. No final, dois casais compartilharam um único banheiro, o que não foi confortável. No mais, a casa é muito boa e espaçosa. Pudemos conhecer bem a região de Gaillac e a cozinha, espaçosa, permitiu fazermos algumas refeições em casa. A água quente do banho esfriava nos primeiros dias, quando tentamos nos banhar mais ou menos ao mesmo tempo. Depois, estabelecemos horários distintos de banho o que regularizou a situação, mas não foi a perfeição. Ainda assim, amamos o lugar e a tranquilidade do espaço. Agradecemos à Mel e seu marido todas as informações que nos prestaram.

Life outdoors is what we love as a family with lots of entertaining. We have 2 young boys - a 5 and a 6 year old. We have been lucky to spend a lot of time at the house enjoying the space inside and out. They have grown up at the house and have already shown a love of the fresh air and sports. We have also used the house to entertain for dinner parties and weekends with 10 friends and it adapts to all our needs.

Why they chose this property

We came to the area to find a house for my parents over 16 years ago and all fell in love with the area and the people. Eight years ago we spotted a pretty, imposing farm house in an estate agent’s window and both knew instantly that we didn’t need to view it as we would buy it whatever! The photo in the estate agent sold it beautifully – a view from the garden looking back at the house. The welcoming facade, the green painted shutters, the majestic oak trees, the brightly coloured roses round the doors and the ever blue pool were enough to sell the house. We still stand at that same spot that the photo was taken at and look at the house in awe. We believe that the refurbishment of the house allows the interior to do justice to the beautiful building and surroundings.

What makes this property unique

This is a house and grounds for living life to the full - you don't need to venture out. Inside there is space so that you can experience solitude or party with 14. The property is fully renovated and includes a kitchen that was designed to cook, entertain and enjoy. There are 2 TV rooms that are complemented by a Wii, free sat TV and DVD library for children and adults. In addition there is a large lounge that has enough sofa and chairs to seat everyone.
Extensive baby and toddler equipment is available that negates the need to bring anything apart from the children.
The house has nature at the door with outside space that is extensive and varied - fields, wooded areas, secret garden and play area. There is also a fully enclosed heated pool with a variety of inflatables and toys.
