Welcome to Pelican Point! This 3 bedroom/3.5-bathroom beach house is the perfect vacation getaway for families and friends. This property is located on Terramar Beach, close to the San Luis Pass (well-known fishing spot!) and is located 15 minutes west of Galveston. There are no vehicles allowed on Terramar beach making this property ideal for families with small children. There are two covered balconies that provide priceless oceanfront views. The property also offers a Weber outdoor charcoal grill, picnic table, and a private outdoor shower. The driveway accommodates up to 6 vehicles with additional parking on the grass across the street. The property has everything you need to cook during your stay with a fully stocked kitchen. All you need is groceries! Larger stores such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Randalls are located in Galveston proper. If you're looking for something closer or more immediate, the Seven Seas Grocer is 5 minutes away. Additional fine dining is located a short 15-minute drive to Galveston.

Great Beach House

ON the beach !

Right on the beach, convenient to walk back / forth. NO cars so no traffic or noise.HUGE primary Bdrm/ bath, other Bdrm smallish. Kitchen get for family traffic.Living room smallish, but TV very user friendly .Host VERY responsive as the weather changed plans. They made our dreams come true.

Perfect location for all ages!

We stayed here for a family trip during the summer. Our family consisted of three generations between 82 and 7 and everyone was happy. Two lovely porches and great distance from the beach. The home is so well maintained and the owners are amazing at communication. Just a wonderful spot that we hope to come to again!

The house is fabulous, the location is fabulous. We would stay here again and again. It's clean. It's fresh. It's great. The view is amazing. The living area is spacious and cute. The bedrooms are all upstairs and have comfy beds. The bathrooms are in pristine condition. The owners are accommodating and super helpful.

Mother Daughter Trip

My best friends of over 30 years and I stayed at Pelican Point and we brought our daughters. The beach house is right on beach and has stunning views!! The inside well maintained and the owners were great at communicating with me. I did have issues the first night with the breakers tripping 10-15 times which resulted in no air conditioning while we slept however after first night it stopped. There are only three bedrooms but the couch folds out into a full size bed. There were linens for all of the beds and extra pillows however there were only two towels in each bathroom which was not adequate for 11 guests. Pack your own. I did laundry several times so we could all shower. The trash bins were completely full from the previous renter and it smelled terribly. We had to put our trash behind the bins when we took it out. Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for family fun and private beach right outside your door

We had a great time! Right on the beach. It’s like the beach I front of the house was ours. Great time enjoying the view, seeing dolphins snd crab hunting at night.

Perfectly private

Loved the house. The upstairs (bedrooms and bathrooms) were perfect. Everything we needed was there and it was comfortable. I LOVE that the upstairs has it's own AC unit so there was not feeling hot upstairs. The downstairs (living areas) was exactly what we needed as a family of a 4 year old and a 9 year old with special needs. With the open concept, we had the ability to watch everyone and make sure they were safe and not up to something sneaky. Our vacation was mid July and it still felt very private. Not many people at that part of the beach. It was just far away enough from public access that it felt secluded. Very easy beach access-- just walk out the door and there in a few steps. LOVED our stay and the owners were amazing!

So cute and convenient!

Property is RIGHT on the beach, which is private and doesn’t allow cars. So nice to be away from city, but close enough if you need anything. House is finished nicely, but the only request from the whole week would be to have some type of storage for clothes (dresser) in the master and bunk room. However, this may not matter to most! Owner was SUPER quick to respond, and gave great tips and information for the stay. Would highly recommend this home!

Perfect Galveston beach rental

Wonderful Getaway

This is a beautiful property, just as described, which I appreciated, since this was first transaction with Vrbo. Right on a quiet beach with no cars. Toddler friendly features. Owners were responsive. Overall very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend, and plan to stay again.

Beach has always been a spiritual place for me to visit. Walking along the beach has always been something I cherish. Especially, when I get to see the sunrise, witness a supermoon or simply do some stargazing. Pelican Point was designed around creating amazing views, a functional kitchen with open spaces intended for family gatherings and lasting memories. The open space concept on the main floor is meant to create an environment well suited for entertaining. Everyone can be a part of the entertainment, even when preparing meals. The upstairs bedrooms provide private sanctuary when desired.

Why they chose this property

Terramar beach is a beautiful stretch of beach located 15mins west of Galveston. There are no vehicles allowed on Terramar beach making it suitable for families with young children. In addition, this particular part of Galveston Island is well known to fishermen and other nature enthusiasts.
