STEAMED CLEANED Luxury Villa, Private Heated Pool, Sea & Mountain Views

One of the biggest private pools in Crete, it can be heated to whatever temperature you want at any time of the year (there is a charge). Villa Lagada enjoys panoramic views of the sea and mountains and boasts a list of facilities rarely found in villas to rent in Crete. There are may seating areas and paths around the villa. We have also added a lot of additional lighting to enhance the area at night. Our aim has been to create a villa where you can holiday in private surroundings; it is the perfect place if you want to have a relaxing holiday in an authentic Cretan property. Villa Lagada allows for privacy and serenity, while also giving you the opportunity to reach the traditional tavernas that Makrigialos has to offer. This is a spacious, bright and attractively designed villa of fine quality. As you drive up to the villa you are greeted by cacti plants and olive trees, as well as the fantastic mountain backdrop. Impressive and appealing furnishings adorn the lounge and dining room including a leather 3 piece suite. Large screen Smart TV with an open fire place and patio doors from the lounge, dining room and kitchen all leading to the extensive patio and pool area. There are hot and cold air conditioning units in each room. Villa Lagada is set on the ridge overlooking the sea with the mountains all around. Tranquil yet just a 5 minute drive from the shops, tavernas and the quaint harbour where you can hire boats. Let the world go by while watching the crystal clear sea under the shade of trees on the beach at Diaskari Taverna. A 5 minute drive up the hill brings you to Dragons Cave Taverna, which showcases the most stunning views of the whole of Makrigialos. As requested by many guests we have added cameras which are located at the front door, bbq area, patio door from the kitchen and the other side of the property. These can be turned off at your request. There is also an alarm system, our management team will provide you with the code.

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern für 10 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Villa. Die Schlafräume mit Bad en suite waren für uns ein Traum. Alle weiteren Wohnräume sowie die terassen luden ein sich aich mal zurück zu ziehen. Die Kommunikation mit Miriam als Vermieterin war einfach perfekt. Besser kann man es sich nicht wünschen. Lediglich die Lage war für uns doch etwas weiter weg vom Ort als anhand der Anzeige gedacht. Alle

Comfortable well appointed villa
We were family of 5 ranging from 23 yrs up plus friends of theirs and the areas of villa suited us so well. Outside space great round pool and other coveted seated areas. Driving a must really as the local cafes, supermarkets and beaches all down the bumpy gravel track to villa about 5 mins away only but definitely a must. The pin drop for villa also essential especially if arriving in dark! One of our best family holidays in an unpretentious area that’s not full of British tourists!

The villa was perfect. Everything is within the villa what you need. We have had a problem with the airco and the pool was becoming very warm. In the area are a lot of things to do: hike in a gorge, relax on the beach, visit a little town or monastery

Toller Urlaub in einer tollen Lage ohne Kritikpunkte
Wir waren insgesamt 11 Personen (7 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder im Alter von 2-5Jahre). Dieses Objekt ist wirklich ideal für diese Gruppen Konstellation. Viele Bäder und Zimmer und mehrere Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen. Die Lage war ein Traum und die Strände in der Nähe sehr familiär und nicht überlaufen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Perfect for a group of friends
We loved this house - it is well equipped for groups, lots of spaces to hang out and socialize. It's the last house on the road, so very private with a nice, open view of the sea. Internet is a bit weak, so not for people who need to work online. Also, one of the bedrooms is not great for adults - fine for kids though. The people from Lagada Resort who manage the property were excellent - very friendly and responsive.

A nice house for summer
Villa Lagada is a big and nice house with a great view. It is in the middle of the wild nature. If you don't have a SUV, you will have difficulties with the road. You will need everything else except toilet paper, salt and pepper. The cleaning of the house needs to improve. In winter the pool cannot be used as it is empty. We had problems with the warm water, the management reacted promptly and the problem was solved. The high speed internet is limited, so you will need to buy extra data volume if you do streaming. With more care it would be an excellent house.

Neuwertiges, gepflegtes Haus. Bietet alles für ein komfortables Wohnen bis 11 Personen. 3 Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten im Freien, daher ganztägig Schattenplätze verfügbar. Zufahrt jedoch über sehr schlechte Straße, aber machbar. Insgesamt klare Empfehlung!

Lovely Villa with Beautiful Scenery
Villa Lagada provided the perfect place for a family gathering. We enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool and exploring the surrounding area. The pool took a few days to warm up and on our last couple of days we had great weather and loved being able to swim outside in April! There were a couple of technical issues with but the management company responded promptly to each of them. The locals in Makry Gialos are so warm and friendly. This holiday was one of the best ever for our extended family.

Why they chose this property

We took a trip to Makrygialos to look for a plot of land, fell in love with the place and had a fantastic villa built in 2010. We have now been to Makrygialos so many times and it just gets better and better. We also find tavernas we haven't tried before and this Summer went out on a fishing boat and caught a 10 kg tuna which tasted fabulous on the BBQ back at the villa.

What makes this property unique

When you are at the villa you can relax in the sun or the shade, take a dip in the pool, walk to the beach or explore the countryside. The evening is best enjoyed with a glass of champagne watching the sun setting behind the mountains behind the villa. At night either get the BBQ going or go down to town and enjoy a night on the promenade in one of the great tavernas. Late at night back at the villa go on the roof terrace and gaze up to the sky looking for shooting stars.
