Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Eyam is one of the best-preserved villages in the Peak District National Park, nestled at the foot of Sir William Hill, 800ft above sea level and is surrounded by the most glorious countryside. Historically the village is known as the famous 'plague village', as it went into voluntary quarantine when the plague was imported from London in 1665 and thus prevented the spread of the disease. There are many fine old houses in Eyam, and parts of the village have been kept as they looked several centuries ago, such as Eyam Hall (National Trust), a beautiful 17th century manor house with delightful gardens, craft shops and tea rooms.

A modern apartment on 1st and 2nd floor. The Peak District is your garden ! Great location for exploring. Pubs locally serve good food and ale. Accommodation is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Would have liked a bit more hot water for a soak in the bath otherwise fine for the 2 of us.
