A tucked away apartment situated a few steps from the beautiful and quiet Gibbes Beach.
We loved our stay at Little Seascape in January 2019. We had a warm and friendly welcome from Sam and Blue Sky Villas. The apartment is situated in a lovely residential area with a bus stop right outside although a car is very useful. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need, and the apartment is well serviced every 3 days. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away by car or the larger supermarket in Holetown is 10 minutes. Good bars and restaurants and shops are all within 5 or 10 minutes by car or bus and the beach is amazing!

Lovely flat with beach access!
Lovely flat appointed with anything you might need! The Sunday we were there the beach was busy with boats & activities, but very quiet during the week. The lounge chairs & umbrella were much appreciated. Housekeeping was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again! Deb B

Lovely and clean. Private walkway out to quiet, private, beautiful beach with calm waters
We loved Little Seascape where we spent a week in early December. The rental space is the upstairs of a cute, two story building. The building is located right off the main road. We stayed for a week in early December. Little Seascape was the perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Sam and Diane were great hosts, very responsive and happy to make recommendations, provide directions. They made a grocery run for us so that when we arrived, the home was stocked with basics (wine, cheese, bread, bacon, eggs, milk, cereal, beer, etc.). When we arrived, Sam met us and took about 10 minutes to show us around, how to access the beach, introduced us to the housekeeper who came by two afternoons during the week to do our laundry and clean the home, which was so nice. We loved waking up early and going out to the beach where there are 2 lounge chairs and a large umbrella provided. The little house seems to be the only small property along a long strip of large, older, private homes, and felt very safe. We used the large gas grill and ate out on the private 2nd floor porch, bought fish at the market up the road. Could see the beach from the porch. There are good restaurants nearby, some within walking distance, and a full grocery story nearby. The house was stocked with beach towels, coolers. The size and setup of the house were perfect for the 2 of us. (We rented a car which we’d recommend for convenience purposes.) Highly recommend Little Seascape and hope to be back.

A Perfect Stay!
We spent two wonderful weeks here Jan/Feb; this was our fourth visit to the island but stay at Little Seascape and Gibbs Beach. The accommodation is perfect for two--larger than we expected and the location was superb. The apartment was very comfortable and the verandah so attractive in the midst of lush foliage---ate all our meals there. The beach is quiet but not deserted, sandy entry to the ocean, good snorkelling. Walks in both directions (including Mullins) were great and this year's visit was the most relaxing. The housekeeper was great and Blue Sky Luxury (Jodi and Zoe) were very helpful both before and after arrival. The prepared meals we ordered through BS were very good, portions were generous, and made life easy. We enjoyed our second time with Calabaza catamaran, and went twice to the Fish Pot (when you book ask for a table by the ocean) which seemed particularly good this year. We used Massey's supermarket in Hometown which is getting better all the time. Sam, the owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, including helping us get on to Netflix on TV. Highly recomended--we will be back!

Great position and accommodation close to beach
50 yards from a beautiful beach, short walk to Bars and restaurants. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Easy access to other parts of the West coast. A bit of road noise in rush hours but otherwise tranquil

Fantastic position but the property itself needed some TLC
The property was situated in an ideal position on the beautiful West coast of Barbados. It had its own access to the beach with sun beds and an umbrella provided for the use of guests. The beach itself was uncrowded and one of the best that we experienced on the Island. The only slight disadvantage was the busy main coast road which could be a bit noisy at times but this was more than offset by the direct beach access. However the property itself can only be described as a bit 'tired.' It was in need of some freshening up and could have easily been improved by some relatively minor attention to detail. For example, one of the wardrobe doors (which was on runners) did not open and close smoothly and tended to stick. There was a broken partition screen in the lounge area which was unsightly and could easily have been removed, there was no toaster in the property. When we had toast for breakfast, we had to use the grill which was slow and not very satisfactory. Although the oven worked fine, the fittings inside the oven were a big problem. They were (deliberately) loose and collapsed very easily. Only the tray which was used to cook the food kept the fittings apart and as soon as the tray was removed to take out the food, they collapsed and were fiddly to put back together. This was also a problem when we used the grill. The television did not work properly and although when we reported the problem to the owner, he apparently sent round someone to look at it, when that person arrived, she did not knock on the door and assumed that we were still in bed. This was despite the fact that I had spoken to the agent on the telephone about and hour earlier !! We were subsequently advised by the agent to try disconnecting the television at the mains and then turning it back on. This initially appeared to work but subsequently every time we turned the TV back on there was a problem and we had to keep taking the mains plug out (which was not easy to access) and then turning the TV back on. That did not work every time and in the end we gave up trying to watch the TV. The problem was compounded by the fact that there were no instructions about how to use any of the appliances in the house. There was a small stand alone oven in the kitchen but we were unable to use it because we did not know how it worked. Ironically there were some instructions for the TV but they made no sense. We would probably not recommend this property unless these issues were

Paradise found!
Kate and I have been coming to Barbados on and off for thirty five years. We have found our "home away from home" at Little Seascape and have stayed there for four weeks every year for the last six years. We have a standing reservation with Sam and Diane every year forever. That should tell you how much we love the place. It's perfect for two people. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. You can enjoy eating at the center island, a table in the living area, or the deck outside - all with good views. We had arranged cooks (who were great) for the first two years but, as we both cook, we found that we felt more at home cooking for ourselves or enjoying the many good restaurants nearby in Holetown, Speightstown, or on the main road toward Bridgetown. (Food shop in Holetown for the best selection). There's a great fish market a quarter of a mile south down the road (ask for "Smokey" - he's not very chatty but, he cuts and prepares your fish perfectly). The bed and bathroom are comfortable and the cable TV and WiFi work fine. The housekeeper and gardener (Youseen and Anthony) are both sweethearts. Couches and lounges are available both inside and on the deck for total relaxation. A few steps down a private path and you're on the best beach on the island - never many people and perfect sand and blue water. It's our opinion that this is as close as it gets to paradise without dying! Ron & Kate
