Villa Julimar sits in the heart of the central Algarve, near beautiful beaches where the town’s fishermen launch their fishing boats, and only a short journey away from water parks and theme parks.

This practical holiday villa has a homely feel that helps to relax and enjoy every minute of a well-deserved getaway.

Its space and layout have plenty of entertaining features and it’s a great place to relax and escape from the everyday bustle of city life.

The garden feels quite tropical, cleverly conceived, featuring superb greenery; palm and banana trees carefully selected to line the swimming pool area, where memories are made, family moments are enjoyed and evenings are spent.

In the basement lies the games room equipped with tennis and football tables for endless hours of indoor fun.

For any type of holiday break, this holiday home is well suitable. Beside soft sands and calm turquoise waters hidden at the base of golden cliffs, there is a pretty beachfront, a wide selection of restaurants and bars and a relaxed holiday ambiance.

Scheduled as a family vacation and expectations have been met. Even if many steps the house does not appear to be 100% child-friendly, the existing garden toys (bucket, seesaw, slide) provide a predominant stay on the well-maintained lawn area anyway.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt - waren mit 6 Personen + plus Baby im Haus für 2 weitere Personen gibt es ein Schlafzimmer im Souterrain - daher nicht so schön. Besonders hat uns der Außenbereich gefallen - schöner, großer Pool mit gepflegtem Garten. Dies und jenes ist in/an dem Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte gern renoviert/erneuert werden. Die Kommunikation war für die Anreise und Check-In einwandfrei! Auf unsere Wünsche wurde prompt reagiert! Nach einer Woche wurden Bettwäsche und Handtücher getauscht und saubergemacht! Auf jeden Fall benötigt man ein Auto, um die Gegend zu erkunden und um zum Strand/Stränden zu gelangen, da das Haus etwas abseits in einer kleinen Wohnsiedlung liegt. 03/10/24

Villa Julimar is in a great location! 40mins from the airport, to the beach 10mins away to cliff Richards Vineyard 10mins in another direction. Villa itself was spotless, but showroom clean so be prepared to buy all condiments as none are left behind which you kind of expect from a busy rental villa, so stock up on first shop and on toilet roll as you only get one per WC. Only real criticism (very small at that) was the pool could have been cleaned whilst we were there, pool guy appeared as we were leaving. But absolutely tiny critiscm would stay here again!

Amazing stay at Villa Julimar. Hosts were lovely and offered for us to use their own facilities whilst we waited to check in as we were early. villa was spotless and had everything we needed. Garden and pool were brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic villa
Myself and my family of 6 stayed at Villa Julimar and had a fantastic time the villa was absolutely beautiful, very modern and exactly as described. It is close to zoomarine and slide and splash water park along with plenty of shops and beaches all within a 15 min drive from the villa. The privacy and security is amazing which is good to know when you have small kids. There is not one negative thing we can say about this villa and the location. Thanks again for giving us all a fantastic holiday.

Mit dem Meerblick, das ist leicht übertrieben, aber ansonsten kann ich nur meine Bewertung von vor einem 1 Jahr wiederholen, denn wir sind wieder gekommen. Komplett ausgestattet, sauber, bestens in Schuss und eine angenehme unaufdringliche Betreuung. Wenn wieder Algarve, dann wieder dieses Ferienhaus.

Well presented spacious villa with excellent pool
Good size villa with excellent outdoor space - garden, barbecue and lovely pool. Location a little from the beach and about 15 mins walk up to the small town with 2 good restaurants but good access to everywhere as close to A22. Would be helpful if proper details / brochures were provided so one knew more about local area offerings - a feedback book would also be good as I am sure reviews would be very positive but also helpful to new guests.

Tolles Haus, Im Internet absolut zutreffend beschrieben.
Wenn ich im Internet Bewertungen lese, bin ich immer etwas skeptisch, insbesondere wenn sie durchgehend positiv sind. Im Falle dieser Villa sind alle positiven Bewertungen gerechtfertigt. Wir haben in den letzten Jahren verschiedene Häuser gemietet. Dieses war zwar nicht das günstigste, aber definitiv das Beste. Auf den Fotos im Internet wirkte der Pool mit dem Garten durch die gewählte Perspektive zwar etwas größer als in Realität, aber das störte uns überhaupt nicht. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch das Verwalterpaar war sehr herzlich. Wie schon an anderer Stelle zu lesen war, braucht man definitiv ein Auto, denn außer einem ALDI in einem knappen km Entfernung hat Alcantarilha „in the middle of nowhere“ nichts zu bieten. Dieses Haus ist absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man auf hochwertiges Ambiente und eigenen Pool Wert legt.

The experience was great! the house is as good as on pictures and we loved our stay. Perfect pool and barbecue area, large bedrooms and one restroom per bedroom. 30min walk down to the beach and armacao de pera with several OK restaurants. Easy and cheap to take a taxi back and forth when needed

Amazing Villa!
The villa is beautiful - the images do not do it justice! All bedrooms have a separate bathroom, and the cellar with the ping pong table and table football was great for our final day in which it unfortunately rained! Could not recommend this villa enough - only 40 minute drive from the airport and easily accessible from surrounding towns.

Fijne villa met veel buitenruimte en mooi zwembad.
Wij verbleven met 4 volwassenen en 3 kinderen in villa Julimar. Villa was groot genoeg om elkaar niet op de lip te zitten. Lux afgewerkt, veel buitenruimte en fijn zwembad. Alcantarilha is centraal gelegen in de Algarve waardoor het een goede uitvalsbasis is.

Because we didn’t find any companies that provided a complete service on the Lisbon coast, we took care of all the details for our guests to have the best satisfaction.

Situated west from Albufeira, Salgados beach is very famous because of it stretches along a coastal lagoon inhabited by migratory birds. Accessibilities, parking, bars, restaurants and other beach support infrastructures are of good quality.
Beyond the dunes, the Salgados Lagoon is an important stopover for many migrating birds and where a number of protected species nest among the reeds and rushes.
The beach is good for water sports, swimming, to surfing and bodyboarding as the sea regularly provides good waves for such activities.
