Sundowner House sits with an unparalleled view of the beautiful light blue sea. You can watch fish swim past from the patio– ideally done at “sundowner” time! The house sits 35 ft. above the sea and 25 yd from it, with beach frontage and safe swimming. Hoopers Bay is one of the most beautiful on the island, and extremely quiet. The house has three bedrooms, 1 with a king bed, one with a queen, and the other with twin beds which can be moved together to make another king. There is a mooring in front of the house, marked by a polystyrene buoy. This was installed in August 2022, and is a helix anchor point. All living rooms have fans, air conditioning and a full unobstructed sea view. In response to comments made by one tenant, we took on board what was said, and decided to give Sundowner a facelift, and the following renovations were carried out . The kitchen units, sink and bar were all replaced, and a new refrigerator/freezer bought. For the dining area, a new dining table with 6 chairs provided. All cracked ceramic floor tiles in the house were replaced. The master bedroom has a newly tiled floor, a brand new king size bed in 2018, whilst it's shower room has been completely renovated. It now has a walk in shower. The end bedroom has been altered, the wooden door to the outside has been filled in. The patio has 4 new sunbeds.
Please note, the HOUSE IS ON THE BEACH. I am frustratingly unable to get removed the note that it is a "7 minute drive to the beach".
Two paths lead from the house, which join up then take you to some steps onto the beautiful beach.
Exuma is one to the best bone fishing areas in the world, and it has some of the clearest and cleanest seas to swim, snorkel or dive in. Facilities are available in George Town to do all these things, and also hiring boats. Brochures have been placed in the house to help you in this matter.
The house has satellite WIFI using Starlink so is very fast.
There is split A/C in all bedrooms, kitchen and lounge/diner area.
2 outdoor showers.
One good suggestion from a renter is to bring with you a few paper products that are light and easy to carry, such as trash bags, detergent pods, tin foil, baggies etc as they are very expensive to buy on the island. If you use the App "What3words" the driveway to the house is identified by "sunlit.fattens.mentioned"
