Family holiday

Tregarrek is a beautiful property. For our multi generation group it was ideal, with lots of room for us to find our own space. It is very well equipped and both the garden and surroundings are beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. It all added up to a perfect holiday venue.

Family half-time term trip

The property itself is set in a beautiful location overlooking the coast, the grounds of the property are well maintained and welcoming! The property itself was absolutely beautiful inside and out and was thoroughly cleaned and well stocked! There was plenty of space for our party of 8 and not once did we feel like we were on top of each other (that includes 3 children). The bedrooms too were also spacious! Could not recommend this property enough! Communication with the owner was fantastic and the mid stay check in was a nice touch as was the welcome basket of delicious Scones! We will definitely be back to visit again!

Beautiful home, Excellent for peace and quiet

Kitchen, living areas and bathrooms spotless - but we had to hoover the bedroom carpets of two rooms because when we dropped something on the floor it was covered in dust. Lovely electric showers and american fridge very useful. Sadly we found the bed in the large front bedroom too hard to sleep in so slept in the lighthouse room instead, which was an excellent bed The table to eat outside was warped and unusable as a table( drinks fell over) . Outside seating not commfortable. As OAP's we found the coastal path to the head and village too uneven and overgrown to be a pleasant or safe walk, but walking the road to and from the village was fine and no further and much quicker!

Lovely House

Lovely house, lovely location. We were left a gift basket of scone, jam and clotted cream and marshmallows to roast on the firepit. The weather was fantastic which made the holiday. Would definitely stay again.

Steep climb

Wonderful house in a great location. Spotless and very comfortable. Attentive hosts. Only fault, the path down to the beautiful bay is too steep for aged or people with mobility problems.

The Perfect Getaway

Wonderful property with everything you could want in a beautiful location and with stunning views of the fantastic coastline. The Southwest coastal path is on the doorstep, the Sculpture Park is a few minutes from the house and well worth a visit, and it was only a short walk into Coverack and the Windsurfing Centre. Our party ranged from 84 to 7 and there was plenty for everyone to do.

Best location and home ever

From the moment of our arrival until we finished our week here in this most peaceful, and beautiful part of the world in Cornwall we felt privileged to be here. Every detail is considered by Suzanne and Mark in their tranquil home. Excellent WiFi, we particularly enjoyed the secluded quite beach where we swam every day, and walking out along the headland to Black Head and along the south west coastal path to view the gorgeous coastline and azure sea. Very comfy beds and relaxing areas - splendid sized tvs gorgeous furnishings and sofas, really loved cooking on the excellent range and airy kitchen, useful utility, tumble dryer / airer etc great selection of kitchen utensils, crockery glasswear and table wear. My brother in law brought his telescope to look at the stars in the clear night skies. Lots of bunnies in the garden morning and evening munching the clover. Wonderful fire pit and blankets and marshmallows plenty of space to chill inside and out, so bright and airy too. Great to have so many seating areas, lovely long tables and seating on the deck in the quiet lush garden. So comfortable and very kind generous and friendly hosts. We hated to leave, we even saw dolphins just off the headland coast on our final morning before we left. Thank you Suzanne and Mark

A real home away

This is a beautiful house- equipped with everything you would ever want. The location is breathtaking and three generations of our family have had a fantastic holiday. We slept better here than we’ve ever done on holiday- the beds are so comfortable and the rooms so beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.

Excellent house and location

We loved our week long stay in this fabulous house! The size was great for our gang of 3 adults and 4 kids with both the indoor and outdoor space providing a really fun and spacious environment. Just outside the house there is a path with a few minutes walk down to a pretty quiet beach in a stunning location. The pub and restaurants in the little picturesque village nearby (walking distance) served a lovely meal. We used it as a base to visit places like the Eden Project, St Ives, Truro and Lizard Point - all of them easily reachable for a day out. We also got excellent information from Suzanne before we arrived which made the arrival experience easy. Great house, great location - would highly recommend it and hope to make it back ourselves before too long

Stunning Property and views

The property is located down a private road so off of the beaten track (although it appears that a hotel / hostel is being renovated at the end of the road). The property itself is amazing, well laid out spacious and welcoming. We had no complaints at all with the property or the level of equipment provided,. There were even crab lines and beach toys available for use. The upstairs with the 3 Velus windows giving views of the various tankers moored up out to sea was great (even better when i realised they were Velux and could therefore be opened to gain even better views and photograph opportunities). The beds were comfortable and the garden lovely. We spotted green and greater spotted woodpeckers on the lawn at the same time! as a base it was perfect with plenty to do in reasonable travelling distance. The eateries in the village are great and highly recommended. I thank the owners for their communications etc especially as we only booked the day before the easter friday. The only thing i could suggest might be the inclusion of a clothes horse to facilitate the drying of clothes other than the tumble dryer (unless me missed an outdoor one but an indoor one could be useful) thank you so much and i hope we will return one day (its rare we do go back to the same places as we like to go to new places every trip but i would be very happy to return!)

Extended family holiday stay

Ideal property for extended family holiday in a lovely part of Cornwall. Ideal location to base for visits to nearby attractions. The house was home from home and the beds were extremely comfortable. The welcome pack left for us was a really lovely touch and we loved the jam so much we bought lots of it to take back with us. We loved meeting the ponies on the coast near to the house. The fire pit was brilliant as we sat round it watching the sun go down over the sea. The house was only minutes walking to the nearby village and pub The Paris Hotel where we enjoyed the Cornish lager and ciders. Fabulous stay at a fabulous home.
