About this property

This villa was a private home for 8 years and is in very good condition condition. The patio area has been enclosed with fully retractable sliding glass doors doubling the ground floor area. The floor here has also been porcelain tiled. On a corner plot so enjoys all day sunshine in the summer.The patio looks out over the garden which is a special feature of the property,large irrigated and full of colour. We have now built in the garden an 7.5m by 4m fully heated pool ( additional charge if guests want the pool heated) with underwater lighting.At the same time we have built a new patio outside the sliding glass doors and renewing the other 2 patio areas with matching tiles.The remainder of the garden has been fitted fitted with good quality artificial grass. We have 2 flat screen T.V.s with the full Sky Sports package, video club in 1 room and in the other lots of channells.Also recently upgraded fast wi-fi internet. 2 outdoor pools are 5 minutes walk away + an all year round indoor pool. Mar Menor resort established, friendly with lots to do, golf, tennis, paddle tennis, gym and Spa. Frequent evening functions and live music. The golf in the region is legendary, so many great courses only 30 minutes drive away. Los Alacazares has lovely beaches,excellent restaurants and a great nightlife and the historic old town of Cartagena with it's lovely old port area, Roman Walls and more great restaurants only 30 minutes away.
La Manga golf resort is only 40 minutes away and for golfers there is always a deal to be had here.As for the Mar Menor resort,many people live here,it is always busy,has a great atmosphere,so unlike many of the other resorts close to here,completely different.We feel we cannot really do any more to this villa,it is everything we always wanted and other guests have also commented on how much they have enjoyed staying here.
Our changeover day is a Saturday,we ask departing guests to leave around 10.00 a m and our arriving guests not to arrive before 4.00 p m.

Lovely Stay

Villa holiday

Villa and pool lovely on the outside, but aspects inside need attention. Bathrooms very tired and strange layout/ small kitchen which also needs modernisation. Tania was great in sorting few small issues during our stay.

Fab time!

We stayed for a week in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you could want and the outdoor space was just perfect. Every room had aircon and a fan - those fans are wonderful! Tanya was super helpful and flexible. Thoroughly recommend it - we will be back!

Family golf break

Great resort and location. Villa location is close to the activities on Mar Menor golf resort e.g. hotel and club house/pro shop. Also well positioned for local restaurants etc. Located on a very quiet street with no through traffic the highlight of the villa is without doubt the pool. Internally the villa is perhaps a little more tired than the photos suggest in particular bathrooms and kitchen. Robert the owner is extremely responsive and helpful to messages during the booking process.

Stop looking and book this one

A fantastic property, it is as good as the photos. A great location for visiting the area, with a couple of bars and a supermarket on site, and many restaurants just beyond the main gate. The main town is approximately a 10/15 minute drive. The property has all that you will need with the bonus of a second lounge area. The pool area is great, and very private. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at a great property, really helpful owners

We stayed for a fortnight in Aug 23, and the property was great, very clean and well organised, owner / manager were on top of all of the admin before and during the stay, and we had a great time. The complex has bars and restaurants on site / nearby (walking distance), and Los Alcazeres and La Manga on hand for beaches. We preferred the sea at LA Manga, its only 25 mins away. Overall, superb.

Mar Menor golf trip

Check in was easy, the property was both clean and in a quiet location. Would I stay again, absolutely yes. One point to note and this was maybe the way I read the advert for the property is it states heated pool, this however is an option which we didn’t realise, so maybe this needs to be clarified. That said it’s a great place and worth a stay

Lovely Pool & Garden

Lovely pool and garden. Good sized property. Lots of cooking tools in the kitchen. Great TV and wifi. Phone reception also good. Used the hotel pool as well. Really enjoyed the stay. Only small issues were the single beds were a bit hard (double beds were very comfortable). Bathrooms need a bit of silicone around the baths.

Great villa with everything that you could want.

Great villa with lovely outdoor space and lovely pool. The villa is well situated in a resort and is so quiet. You can walk to restaurants, bars all within a mile or so or you could use the Webber gas bbq that comes with the property. Aircon is great in all the rooms and the kitchen is well equipped. Tv comes with an amazing assortment of recently released cinema films already on free subscription service or you can access all uk channels including sky sports and TNT sports. We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful

Have just spent 2 weeks at this lovely villa. Very clean and had everything we could need (including beach towels!). The outdoor space and pool are wonderful. Air con in the bedrooms was very welcome at nights. The resort itself is lovely and well maintained. Had a very good meal at Taste of India (on the strip outside the resort). Also ate out in nearby Los Alcázares a few times. A taxi was approx €16 each way. All in all, a wonderful family holiday.

Truly disappointing

The house has a great outdoor space but it all ends there. The inside has zero investment since the house was built. The beds very hard, bathrooms mouldy, shower heads falling all the time, shower plumbing backs up from the toilet (yuk) but worst of all is the sheet had hair on them and we asked Tania to come and change them the first hour. The kitchen appliances are sticky and the small fridge is very dirty. I also have pictures and video feedback that was completely brushed off. Very disappointing as the experience can be much better with little care and attention to details

Lovely villa, great location

We stayed here due to relatives having another villa on the complex. The complex itself is lovely, well kept and maintained. Security guards are often seen walking around or in their cars. Very reassuring. The villa itself is well kept, clean and provided plenty of space for a family of 5. The children enjoyed the pool which was just right in temperature. Even had an evening swim. Air con in all bedrooms and living room. Very much needed in the hot weather. We hired a car fron the airport, which was ideal for travelling to the beach and market day in Loz Alcázares and a trip to Cartagena.

Relaxing half term holiday

We had a very chilled half term week at Mar Menor. The villa was great - two adults and two teenagers. Plenty of room for the kids to have their own bedrooms and two living rooms as well was useful at times. We made use of the Weber bbq. Villa is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of glasses/ dishes. Pool was heated - kids particularly enjoyed late evening swims with the pool lights. Communication very good both with Tania who was managing the property and Robert the owner. Would be happy to return to this villa again. We used the padel courts on the resort and played tennis at the tennis club in torre Pacheco . Plenty of restaurants nearby - really enjoyed Los elementos and found a fantastic Japanese restaurant in the harbour in San Pedro del Pinatar called Nanami- gastrosushi. Thank you Robert and Tania.

Wonderful and relaxing vacation

This is the second time we've stayed at this villa, and fully intend to return again soon. The whole process is great, from communication with the owner to check-in with the management company, who are also always on hand should there be any issues that arise. We had a minor issue with a toilet flush, and they were out and fixing it in no time. The villa itself is very well presented, inside and out. The dining/lounge area is a great place to relax, and leads to the garden which s a tantastic space for the family to swim, relax in the sun, and have a BBQ. The pool is the perfect size for a swim, and all four of us were happyily enjoying it together. The bedrooms are a great size and all rooms upstairs and downstairs have air-con as well as ceiling fans. It is a short walk to the main hotel complex which has a great cafe/clubhouse to enjoy a coffee and lunch. In the evening there are also a couple of restaurants and a surprisingly well done Irish themed bar . A further 5-10 minute walk to the outside of the complex and you'll find a large variety of restaurants and bars serving good food. There is also a very well equipped shop on site, which is very reasonably priced. The whole resort is very well presented and a lovely place to walk around and make the most of the facilities. The only one negative I have is that we had to leave!

Beautiful villa

From liaising with Robert during the booking process to being greeted by Tania upon arrival, things could not have gone smoother. The villa is absolutely perfect! Fully equipped, spacious, comfy and spotless - a real home from home. The outside area is as good as it looks in the photos and has obviously been well looked after. Tania was on hand for any queries and was very helpful throughout our stay - thank you! We did not want to leave and hope to return again soon.

Lovely Villa in an excellent location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa for a month in April / May 2022 and found it to be very well equipped. The outdoor area is excellent with plenty of sunbeds, lounging tables and chairs, a gas BBQ and an outdoor dining table and chairs just outside the kitchen door. Indoors there are three large double bedrooms with plenty of storage space and three bathrooms, two with baths and over showers and the one downstairs has a shower. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, and an additional fridge for beer / wine etc !! It’s about a 20 minute walk to the facilities just outside the golf resort which include an Irish pub / restaurant, a Mexican bar / restaurant, some sports bars and an Indian restaurant. It’s about a fifteen minute drive to the main supermarkets, Consum, Mercadona, Aldi and Lidls in Los Alcazares although theer are closer Consum and Mercadona stores in Torre Pacheco. There is also a Spar store on the Golf resort which stocks a lot of UK branded goods.

A good choice whether golfers or non golfers

A good location close to the nearest beach (10minutes). The complex is well maintained with good facilities and restaurants. The property was generally comfortable and has a huge range of tv channels and films. It is also a short walk to off site restaurants.

I am a retired farmer from Norfolk. We farmed here for 40 years mainly potatoes and onions. I retired last year,we are both keen golfers,also love sailing and scuba diving. We visited some friends in Spain in April and someone showed us this villa,it has been a home for 8 years and we felt the loving atmosphere within it,we fell in love with it,and with it's lovely garden and bought it,we visited a few other villas but were totally unmoved by them. We had no intention of buying a home,it was very much done on instinct. We love the golf,the proximity to the beach,the excellence,the variety and the reasonableness of the food and wine, and the friendliness of the folks on Mar Menor resort.Now we have had the garden,pool and patio areas built,we feel we can now offer the complete package.
