Well equipped property with friendly welcoming host
Well equipped property with good parking space. Lovely, friendly, helpful, welcoming host. Perfect location and within easy walking distance of station. I'd love to stay here again.
This was an ideal property for us. Comfortable and convenient for all we wanted to do. A lovely host and we loved using the garden. We hope to be able to stay there again.
3 night stop over whilst visiting RHS Wisley and local NT property. Excellent host, accommodation and location. I shall be booking again in the future.
Well appointed and equipped apartment for two, great location.
This two-storey apartment is bright and airy, very well equipped and has a great location just outside of Guildford, a major country town in Surrey, UK Pubs with excellent dining, a railway station and shopping is nearby. Barbara, the host, is very experienced and attentive.
My husband and I had such a wonderful stay for a month in September . Back again now for a week . Barbara is the most amazing host and just love being at the lodge - beautiful setting and has everything one needs . Highly recommend
Barbara was very pleasant and the property was presented well.
The area was not as quiet as I expected it to be and there was a fair bit of overnight traffic noise. I guess it’s ok a local popular route to the A3.
I did find it took quite a while to get good hot water and the Microwave really does need replacing as it looks quite rusted at the back.
All in all though I recommend this property if your looking to stay somewhere close to Guildford.

Little Gem
Had a lovely week this apartment really is a little gem it's been 'under my nose' for ages as I am a frequent Surrey visitor.....and I've only just discovered it!!. For us it is the perfect location and has all you need [and a bit more].
Hosting from Barbara and Barry excellent, very friendly really felt at home here ..second visit already booked!
I enjoyed the month stay. The apartment is well equipped, light and airy. The hand basin in the shower room is small and awkward for my habitual wet shave routine. So I undertook this task over the kitchen sink. The car accommodation was excellent and access to the train station and the Waitrose mini market very convenient
I would consider a return visit.
This property is a delightful place to stay provided stairs are no problem. There is some traffic noise from the road which runs in front of the property but this did not bother us. The Shower room/WC is very small. Use of the Garden and summer house made our stay even more pleasant and Barbara could not have been more helpful. We would stay again.
.
Barbara is a wonderful host and I could not have wanted for anything more in the property. The proximity to the train station was a big factor in my choosing this property as I was without a car and it was on the train line I needed to visit my family. I ordered groceries online for the 2 week stay and the kitchen facilities were excellent. Cosy TV room which warmed up quickly on the cold nights due to efficient heating. Overall it was beyond my expectations.
A comfortable stay in a convenient location for The Surrey Hills and nearby places of interest.
Conveniently situated the property is modern and comfortably furnished. It has a spacious feel (apart from the shower room). There is a nice rear open aspect onto the well-kept attractive garden. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it. Just a couple of things to bear in mind. Warwick Lodge does front the A427 which is a busy road so there is some traffic noise in the bedroom first thing in the morning. The shower room has a tiny hand basin so you really need to use the shower each day. We were unlucky as the shower temperature control was faulty and we could not turn the temperature down. Barbara has arranged for her plumber to call when he returns from his holiday so all should be OK now.
Barbara is a lovely hostess who communicates very well with her guests. We found everything in the apartment description as described. Something new for us was the clothes drying rack which worked quite well instead of a clothes dryer. We loved having the ceiling windows in the bedroom open at night to let in the cool air and did not find the street noise to bother us.
We grocery shopped at Aldi's in Burpham about once a week and found the freezer quite handy. We visited Chartwell (Churchill's country home) and Hampton Palace Court from this location. The Clandon Station was a few minutes walk from the property and provided excellent service to London Waterloo, Greenwich, Hampton Court and Guildford. The Two Together British Railcard served our purpose well, and we added a travelcard to our rail tickets for easy access to the underground and buses in London.
Spotlessly clean and well appointed accommodation with everything you could need during your stay. Location is handy for Guildford and Surrey Hills area, walking distance from Clandon Station means easy access to London is available. Onslow Arms, a first class gastropub, is also within walking distance.
Lovely clean annex to main house . Barbara is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble . Location excellent for walking and local areas of outstanding beauty . Historic Guildford is close by and excellent for shopping and sightseeing . .
