Situated a few minutes pleasant stroll from an unspoilt medieval village, with shops and restaurants, this roomy converted old farmhouse has everything to make a perfect holiday. The pool, large garden and games provided were great for the kids (and us), and all contributed to a memorable holiday.
Don't miss the Sunday market and the Thursday evening al fresco dining in the square, which starts at 7pm. Our favourite lunch venues were Le Deyonne and La P'tite treile, and dinner at La Bruceliere. Good use was made of the barbecue, with good kebabs, steak and sausages from the village butcher.
Really, you don't need a car, unless you have the urge to investigate the surrounding area (and there are lots of places to visit), but everything is available in the village - general provisions from Spar, a morning trip to the boulangerie for bread, croissant and chocolatine....oh, and wine, of course, from the shop in the square
In all a perfect break.
