Magical view, superb house

The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning - one of the most beautiful view we ever had. It is such a nice feeling to wake up and to admire the sea and the islands around Kefalonia. The house is very comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The communication with Dimitra has been very good and Nathalie, who is looking after the house is extremely nice and helpful. It was easy to drive down to Fiskardo to enjoy the very nice restaurants there. A perfect stay.

Wake up to peace and a view for your soul

Amazing location and views, the villa is extremely light and airy, clean, cool, well designed and decorated, AC in every room. There is an expresso pod machine, pods available in Fiskardo mini markets which is your closest town. In Fiskardo (10 mins drive from the villa) the waterfront is lined with restaurants with seating by the water, serving traditional Greek cuisine with a lot of seafood. There are multiple beaches 10 - 20 mins drive. There are to bakeries in Fiskardo that that sell fresh local breads and sweet treats perfect for breakfast, we often kept brioche for breakfast and warmed it in the oven. We both had an amazing time and looking forward to returning next year.

Erholung pur im Norden Kefalonias

Wie schon von den Vorrezensenten beschrieben ist die Lage der Villa genial. Es ist die letzte Villa in Evreti, danach beginnt der Wald. Absolute Stille und der sensationelle Blick auf Ithaka sind das Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Mit der Übergabe bei Check in und Check out hat alles prima funktioniert, die Kommunikation mit Dimitra klappt hervorragend. Reinigung während des Aufenthaltes top und pikobello sauber! Alles in allem eine tolle Urlaubslocation. Noch ein Tip - Google Maps behauptet, man könnte auch am Objekt vorbei durch den Wald fahren, das stimmt aber nicht, das schafft höchstens ein Geländewagen. Insofern ausschließlich Dimitras Anfahrempfehlungen folgen. Vielen Dank nochmal für die schöne Zeit.

Beautiful villa with a fantastic view

Green Villa was a fantastic place to stay. The property itself is very well equipped, clean and modern and has a fantastic view of the sea and Ithaca. The property is set in a tranquil location, but has easy access (via car) to the town of Fiskardo with its many restaurants and bars, as well as places to hire boats and boat trips. The owner was always extremely helpful and communicative and provided great advice and a quick response. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay for a week and the family loved it.

Ein wunderschönes Haus!

Man startet den Tag am besten mit dem Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse. Außer dem leisen Geläut der Ziegen ist Stille. Toll! Das Haus und der Pool sind extrem sauber (zwischendurch kam auch eine Putzfrau) und das Haus toll eingerichtet. Dimitra war sehr bemüht und super schnell in der Kommunikation. Die Gegend bietet super schöne Strände, Fiskardo ist ein tolles Städtchen. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen! Danke :-)

"Location and views are just stupendous! ''

Well, I guess like everyone who stays at the Green Villa says, the location and views are just stupendous. Add the big skies, the gentle breeze and the sound the goat's bells at the start and end of the day and you have to be pretty close to heaven on earth. I have travelled widely and lived overseas in different parts of the world for over 20 years and your villa and it's position surpass I think anywhere I have stayed. And so I can say wholeheartedly we enjoyed a very memorable time in Kefalonia and I do really hope we can return and stay in the villa again sometime next year. With thanks and best wishes.

This is a FANTASTIC VILLA!!

This is a fantastic villa! The view is incredible and as others have said so much better than in the photos. We visited as a family of 4 with children aged 9 and 11. Our favourite time of day was watching the sunrise over Ithaca with a cup of tea in bed! Everything you need is here, a well stocked kitchen, towels for bathroom and pool, clean linen, good air con, 4 sun beds, lovely hammock, comfy sofa... I could go on. The cleaner also visited a couple of times to refresh everything and was very friendly. The villa was easy to find, about an 1hr 1/2 from the airport and the drive was scenic. Fiskardo is only 10 mins drive away and has so many lovely shops, restaurants and a couple of basic supermarkets. Our favourite restaurants were Elli’s and Captains table (our children loved the huge stack of Nutella and pancakes!) We also rented a boat from Regina that was so much fun. Booking and communication with Dimitra was easy and our questions were answered quickly. Thank you so much - we’ll look forward to returning again soon!

Nice hideaway with spectacular view

We spend a wonderful week in this lovely home with a stunning view. Car absolutely necessary. House was as described in pictures and text. Very friendly host. The only downsides were: coffee maschine was full of mould and the mattress a bit outworn But, All in all, we can really recommend Geen Villa

Without a doubt the best holiday EVER

The views from this villa really are stunning. The property itself is clean and tidy and had everything we needed. From the directions it's straightforward to find and only the very last section is on a stoney track. We really appreciated that the owner let us know when the cleaner and pool guy were due. In other places we have stayed they were round nearly every other day so we really liked that they only came the once during our weeks stay which was perfectly adequate and much less intrusive. We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay and we truly hope that we can return next year. Thank you!

Idyllic - I could stare across the sea all day

To unwind, enjoy great food and take in the scenery. The villa is exactly as described, beautifully and tastefully furnished. A short drive into Fiskardo to enjoy the lovely harbour, complete with a good selection of restaurants. Definitely recommend

Stunning views and an incredible villa

We stayed here for a week in August to explore the north of the island. The villa is beautiful and the view is incredible. The villa is well equipped and suited us perfectly. We also loved the welcoming touch of a local cookery book for us to try at home. The location of the villa also suited us, car is essential. Lots of places to go and visit and great places to eat out. We would highly recommend this villa.

Beautiful Villa and stunning views

This Villa really was as beautiful as it looks. Amazing views and very well appointed, there was nothing more we would have wished for. Spotless and well maintained a pool with a view to die for, watching the boats and yachts sail by so don't forget to pack your binoculars. Lovely quite location not overlooked and it was the first time we saw the Milky Way due to no light pollution. Nice 15 minute drive into Fiskardo each evening for relaxed entertainment and plenty of restaurants next to the harbour with enough super yachts to keep the men folk happy. A car is essential to make the best of the location and 2 beaches we recommend are Acqua Alaties Beach and Jerusalem Beach both are small and uncrowded, have a Taverna with toilet facilities and a 20 minute drive from the villa they can be found by taking the small road directly opposite the small supermarket in Magganos and taking the first Right turn. Directions to the villa are good but we did get lost thinking we could take a short cut. We were wrong. Turn Right at Magganos (before the supermarket) and do not come off this road until you find the sign for Evreti then turn Right. If you followed the road further for 10 mins you would then find Fiskardo. Easy when you know how and Sat Nav was no good. Lastly we were lucky enough to have a daily visit from a beautiful tabby cat that gave birth to kittens during our stay ( we did not see the kittens) and as cat lovers we made a point of ensuring we left some cat food for the next lucky holiday makers hoping that they would feed her as we did. We hope to visit again next year and highly recommend Green Villa and are very grateful for Dimitri who was an excellent host just perfect. Chris & Tania July 2018

Simply the best holiday

Having read the reviews, I thought 'I'll believe them when I see the place for myself'. It very much lived up to those positive reviews. The villa was every bit as good as the photos suggest, and the views are so breathtaking too! Normally, I'm ready to come home after a holiday, but on check out day, I sat on the pool side with my feet submerged wishing I had longer to stay. A big thank you to the owner, Dimitra who ensured our stay was so comfortable. We will be back.
