Perfection
The property afforded us a closeup glimpse of the North Shore's appeal, right outside the back door. The photo does not do it justice. The sound of thunderous waves through the night was magic. The updated balcony furniture was such a treat, we hardly stayed inside. If you hesitate to book this you will regret it.

Perfect beach house in paradise
We loved everything about the house. Our flight arrived early and Daniel did everything to help us check in early. Beds were super comfy and the house was really well provisioned, from surf boards to bikes and lots of extra condiments for cooking. Really centrally located. Would highly recommend.

Great beach stay
Upon entering the house we were really impressed - it was super clean and tidy, private and secure, and had a great spot along a truly stunning beach. It was only moments to Pipeline and Ted's Bakery in one direction, and food trucks, Foodland and Haleiwa Town in the other. (Haleiwa being a 10-15 min drive - Banzai Sushi Bar a must!) The beds were comfy and linen and towels and beach chairs clearly updated since a previous review. Kitchen was really well equipped and the BBQ got a good workout during our stay. We had an issue with the TV at one point which was quickly responded to with a personal visit - the entertainment system does seem over complicated though. Another bike or two would have been good to cater for our party of five - additional bikes can be hired just down the road though. We enjoyed many sunset drinks on the massive balcony. It's a pity you can't see the break from the outdoor lounge though, we became quite envious of the surrounding houses elevated balconies. Can't complain too much though - it wasn't hard to take a chair down onto the beach! All in all we had a great and relaxing stay and saw some massive surf (too dangerous for swimming but spectacular to watch). It was pricey but properties at Christmas were hard to come by - particularly right on the beach. I loved the North Shore and I'll be back.

Outstanding ocean views
Loved the location just steps from a beautiful white sand beach on the North Shore. Matt, the owner,was very helpful. When I texted him with questions, he called me back almost immediately. He was very helpful. Loved the location & the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including many spices & condiments. Only surprise we got was when the gardener showed up. We were not forewarned about that & suddenly there was a guy on the lanai taking pictures. WTH? When I went out to find out how he got in the locked gate & who he was, he told me he was the gardener. But it was fine. Great location; about halfway in one direction to Haleiwa Town & in the other direction was Turtle Bay. My husband, daughter, son-in-law & grandkids (ages 19 & 16) had a wonderful time & highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of Waikiki! We LOVED sitting on the lanai with our morning coffee watching the whales frolic out in the ocean!

Close, but not quite perfect,
Lovely beach house, great location, accurate photos and everything you need for a North Shore holiday. However there are details that detracted. Flat tires on all the bikes, kitchen knives that were all dull, BBQ that functioned but was rusted and missing knobs, etc. Yes, little things but daily distractions. The property manager did address the flat tires when asked. For us it was close to perfect; hopefully for the next guests it will be.

Just Book It!
Wish we could stay forever! The location of this house is unbeatable! Walk right out your back door to a beautiful beach and gorgeous sunset. The view is mesmerizing. A sea turtle swam right past us while we were swimming in our “backyard beach”. The house is very clean and has everything you need: kitchen supplies, beach towels, boogie board, outside shower. Communication is superb. Matthew goes above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent vacation. Would stay again in a heart beat. (Also supermarket is 2 minutes away.)

Solid North Shore House on the Beach
Our family of 7 fit well in the house. We have two teenage boys (15/13) and three girls (11/8/8). One teenage boy slept on the couch, and the girls took the bunk beds, so sleeping was well-spaced. The AC units work great and get the house colder if you keep the bathroom doors shut. The location was AMAZING. We drove to other beaches and attractions easily. I really liked the privacy of the driveway gate. We used items like the chairs and cooler, but I would have preferred a detailed list of what was available. There were no kid-sized bicycles, so we didn't ride the bikes. Cooking was simple with plenty of dishes, and laundry was a breeze with the nice washer/dryer. I loved how they had a pantry with ziplocks, spices, butter in the fridge, and other condiments like ketchup. Those small things make a difference. The master bathroom faucets drip water, but it's not a worry as I don't pay the water bill. Neighboring homes are very close, but there's lots of privacy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat based on the location to grocery stores, famous beaches, surf lessons, and other towns. Plus, the distance to the beach is huge. Some beaches have about 5-15 feet of sand, but the beach behind this house is enormous! **PROS:** - Security, quiet area - Household amenities - Small TV forced us outside - Location & quality of beach (10/10) - ACs work great **CONS (being picky):** - A bit older house - Faucet drips get annoying - Pictures should be of the actual beach and not n

This property was exactly as advertised! Beach front and close to everything on the North Shore. Our questions about the property were answered in a reasonable manner. Paradise!
Communication with the host was great. Easy check in and check out instructions. Amazing location. Everything you need. Foodland is right down the street, along with food carts. Close to Haleiwa. Sharks cove is also down the street, great place to take the family to relax. I would highly recommend staying here.

North shore home
Location, location, location! The view was amazing and steps from the beach. We absolutely loved our stay. The ocean is too rough to swim in this time of year but we found other spots for that. We fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean and woke up to the beautiful views of the ocean. The house was lovely and as advertised, we would stay here again and again.

Perfection on the North Shore!
We had a great time at the North Shore. This home is conveniently located near many beaches, food options, and the bike path. We especially enjoyed using the bikes to travel back and forth to the surf breaks, hikes, and to pick up food. The home is nice with an amazing view everyday right outside the back porch to gaze at the beach, waves, and stars. We also loved hearing the waves at night. We cooked breakfast each day and watched the waves as we enjoyed our food! There are plenty of amenities included with this home for water sports and many other activities! We had a really great time and would definitely stay again!! Daniel was very friendly and ready to help with anything! Thank you for a very special North Shore visit!

Peacful and Perfect
Firstly the host was phenomenal and available via text or call if we needed recommendations. The location is perfect if you are looking for a safe and peaceful place. Away from tourist and toursit shops and traps. 10 min walk away from shark cove. 10 mins drive to turtle bay for kid friendly beach. There are food trucks close by for some great shrimp and food. Just bring your clothes. Everything else is avaiable on property ie towels shampoo, conditioner, games, back toys and even different kinds of snorkling ger, surf boards and boogie boards. We loved our stay and if we retrun to oahu we will be stayin here again.

Amazing place for a family vacation!
This house is great all around! From the time we booked the house to the day we checked out, everything was nothing but perfect. Daniel was easy to work with, very accommodating to our needs. My wife’s family flew from south Korea and met us at Oahu and they could have not been happier including 2 and 5 years old niece and nephew! As it was approaching ‘winter’ time in Oahu, the waves were big. Life guards are present and very prompt to tell the children to go where it was safer. The house deck view was fantastic as sunsets and we saw rainbow twice in a week. The house is well equipped, we didn’t think we would cook but we did a lot just because everything was there! We definitely will stay again in this house!!

Amazing Location and Great Communication
7 of us (adults) stayed here for a week. The location is absolutely perfect. Both because it was nestled in a quiet part of the north shore, away from the chaos of Honolulu and because you literally walk off the deck down to the beach. Lots of options for beach/snorkeling/food/small town shopping nearby. Also, the communication was excellent. We received a call within minutes of arriving giving us appropriate warnings of huge waves on the beach at the beginning of the week. Every time I had a question, I got a quick reply. The unit was as advertised with a few nice welcome fruit/snacks. It was perfect for relaxing on the deck or inside. The beds we’re comfortable. A few things weren’t intuitive to us (working the tv system and had to contact the host. Got a quick reply, but some instructions could have helped. Also, there were a few bugs, which I think is just the nature of being on the beach. We would book again in a heartbeat. Very glad for our experience here.

Great house, great location, will stay here again!! House had all the amenities needed to have an enjoyable stay!! The beach is fantastic!! No annoying tourists to be bothered by too!! Our chef found the kitchen to be fully stocked with dishes, etc.. We had a fantastic stay!!!!

“Trip of a Lifetime”
This is how our family felt at the end of our stay. Relaxed, rejuvenated and so fortunate to be able to experience the North Shore and Oahu from this beautiful home and stunning location. The beach is of few on the planet and the sunsets each evening spectacular. Daniel made us feel at home from the very start. The Beach House had everything. From kitchen hardware to helpful staples to ensure the culinary pursuits were an exercise of collective fun. It has vast accessories for water fun, young children, family games …. ++ Such a beautiful home, can’t wait to return !! The stay was capped with dolphin sightings from the deck on our 2nd last day !!

AMAZING!
My family and I had the best stay at this property! The pictures truly do not do it justice. It’s literally on the beach, a short 10-15 minute walk to Shark’s Cove (to which I went THREE times), and a few minutes to Foodland and Waimea Bay. They have MANY items available to use (beach toys, high chairs, etc). Haleiwa is about a 12-15 minute drive away. Daniel, the property manager, is quick to respond and very helpful. And Matthew was incredibly accommodating! A note though for families with young children. It is North Shore, so the beaches are not as young child friendly. We came with our 1 1/2 year old and 4 year old and they were not able to go swim in this water because it was quite dangerous. They were able to go ankle deep and enjoy the sand, which was just fine for them. If your children want to swim in the water, ensure they are strong swimmers. Thank you for allowing us to share your home! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Totally Worth it - AMAZING!
I know booking a rental through any app can be hit or miss, but this was was definitely a bullseye. The house was immaculately clean, and the pictures are accurate, but definitely don't do it justice. The view was amazing, and easy access from the back deck to the beach, which was usually pretty empty except on weekends. Within walking distance to the local market/coffee shop, food carts and Sharks cove in one direction, and the infamous Pipeline in the other direction. The beach at the house can be pretty aggressive for younger children (under 10) who are not experienced with ocean swimming, but a short drive in either direction to kid friendly beaches (see below). Enough beach "supplies" (chairs, umbrella, toys), probably more than you could imagine, as well as beach cruiser bikes you can use to ride on the trail thar runs along the front of the house. 10-15 minutes to dowtown Haleiwa or Turtle Bay, and about 5 or less from Waimea Bay. Even if you make a trip to Waikiki, only about 40min drive. Perfect location! Daniel was amazing to work with! He was very responsive, freindly and willing to go out of his way for anything we needed. Definitely made it easier for our family. No doubt we will rent this again in the future. Couldnt have asked for a better place.
