About this property

Beach Cottage with Pool

Ibis Roost is a bungalow-style, ocean cottage and designed with relaxation and family fun in mind. Located in Seaside Circle in the Ocean Village subdivision, Ibis Roost is walking distance to the beach and village.

Our cottage has Two master bedrooms, one guest bedroom plus a kids bedroom over the garage connected to the upstairs master bedroom. The Pool in a private fenced backyard is everything you need to have a memorable family vacation or a great getaway with your friends. The private front porch or screened in back porch both with hanging swings welcome you for a relaxing vacation. As you enter the house you will can sit and enjoy a full-length couch, love seat or an oversized chair. There are chaise lounges and a four-place table by the pool. You will be able to sit outside and catch some rays or take a short walk to the beach, approximately 1/4mi away.

The dining room has a table seating six. There is a breakfast bar that looks into the loaded kitchen with all the comforts of home. A large laundry room is located off of the kitchen. Outside you will enjoy the fenced in yard.

The downstairs master suite has a large queen-sized bed with views of the pool surrounded by live oak trees. The master bath offers double sinks and a tub-shower combination. The master closet is as large as a small room. A screened porch off the master bedroom has a table with chairs and a swing with direct access to the pool. The second downstairs bedroom offers another Queen-sized bed with shared access to a full bath.

Upstairs is a second master suite with king-sized bed, views of the live oak trees, private bath and view that over looks the pool. The fourth Bedroom, 'the kids room' over the garage, has two twin beds with connected accessed from the upstairs master bedroom.

So pleased
This was our 2nd time staying at Ibis Roost. Even though it is in a neighborhood, you feel line you are secluded. The pool is surrounded by beautiful green plants and flowers. It is so peaceful. This house has everything you would want. The owner is great and will work with you if you have any questions. I highly recommend you check it out.

A wonderful place to make memories!
The House was wonderful and we had plenty of room! It was well stocked and a short bike ride to the beach. We loved the area and will be back! I had a few questions about check out process and couldn’t reach the host so I hope we did everything right!

This was our 3rd or 4th time to stay at the Ibis Roost! It is our most favorite place to stay and it’s always A+! You won’t regret staying here. It is equipped with everything you need to feel like it’s your home away from home. We will be back again for sure!

Great location, great house - exceeded expectations
We loved this location since it is walkable to the beach and to the Village. Pictures did not do the house justice. Very spacious, lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Pool was huge and very private. The house felt very homey, a feeling you don’t always get in a vacation home. We probably should have called earlier to get the door code, but it wasn’t a problem. The owner was very quick to respond when we contacted her. We had a GREAT stay!

This house was wonderful. Sitting by the pool looking at all the beautiful plants was so peaceful. My family and I loved the location . It is a short walk to the beach and village. The house is fully equipped with all you need. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful time. House was clean, perfect location to beach and town. Everything was walkable. House felt like home. All amenities you could want and Moore. Lovely circle, private and nice neighbors. Will rent again if returning to St Simone’s.

Family vacation
This home was the perfect spot for a quiet laid back family vacation. We tracked with our 2 adult sons, our daughter in law and two of our bonus kids. There was plenary of space for us all to hang out comfortably and the pool are and front porch were our favorite spots to hang out. The home came right plenty of beach equipment and location to the village and public beach access were perfect. We would definitely stay in this home again and will be returning to St Simons Island hopefully soon.

Lovely first stay on St. Simon's Island
The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There were TV's in every bedroom, as well as cozy reading nooks. I am a fan of porch swings and there were two! It was nicely decorated. It was well stocked with games, books, and beach accessories.

Comfortable house
A beautiful house with everything provided from coffee to spices to books to bikes! The pool is refreshing on a hot day and the lush tropical landscaping gives beauty and privacy. We have rented houses before but never one with so many personal touches of art, memorabilia, and reading material. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning kept the house just right for day and night. The kitchen is well equipped. Towels are high quality, thick and comfortable. It was easy to ride bikes to restaurants and beaches close by or drive to those farther away.

Very nice house
Overall the house was nice and spacious. We all loved riding bikes. Beds were very comfortable. Backyard was beautiful. Wish the pool was heated -we knew it wasn’t before we went but had no idea how cold it would be.

clean home, beautiful yard, peaceful street. proximity to everything is great. rode bikes everywhere we went(we brought our bikes but there are 4 adult bikes available with locks provided which was great) We even on the beach as East Beach is HUGE with soft sand areas and hard which is perfect for riding bikes etc) fished off the pier and off the beach. drove one day to go check out Jekyll Island which was gorgeous as well. highly recommend this house. clean, well maintained, great book selection) Chotsy very easy to communicate with. food in the area was good as well!!

Best vacation ever
From the minute you walk in this lovely home you feel like you are home it is so comfortable and spacious, clean and fresh it is the best place I have ever stayed. The back yard is like paradise with the pools, trees and plants. We all voted as a family this is our new vacation spot we will be back. The neighborhood was so quiet and the neighbors were friendly.

A perfect get away!
This was a perfect spot for a much needed get away. Adam and Chotsy were great to work with and very responsive. The beach was an easy walk and the pool a great place to spend the afternoon and evening. We did not venture out much, due to COVID but St. Simons looks like a great destination.

Wonderful home
We enjoyed everything about this beautiful gem of a home. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The backyard is gorgeous and such an escape in itself. We spent many nights on the screened in porch talking. The location was fantastic. We will never forget our first stay in SSI and will definitely be back again and hope to stay in Ibis Roost in the future.

Our home is uniquely located in the village area which is walking distance to shopping, water park, putt put, great restaurants, the pier and beach. Also, we are located on a quiet single cul-de-sac road with no through traffic, safe for the children or quite for a relaxing day on the front porch swing. All of the homes in our small neighborhood are well maintained having a beach cottage design and feel. You will be in your own private vacation enclave to enjoy much deserved downtime.
