Situated between Carcassonne and Toulouse in the heart of the Cathar village of Les Casses you will find Villa Confey the perfect place to relax and explore this beautiful region of France. A spacious well appointed house with air-conditioning in the bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and all the necessary modern appliances. However, if you decide not to cook at home; then there are plenty of good, reasonably priced restaurants in the area to explore, two nearby with a Michelin star are certainly worth a visit. The private south facing garden is planted with aromatic herbs such as rosemary, sage, thyme, bay, mint and lavender; where you can relax on the sunbeds in front of the pool soaking up the sun. Then when the heat becomes too much; you can take a cool dip in the pool. A barbecue is available and will be invaluable for entertaining and al-fresco dining. There are plenty of local markets in the nearby towns of Castelnaudary, Villefranche de Lauragais and Revel; of which Revel is worth a visit on Saturday mornings.

Our stay in Les Cassés

The house was not as tidy as we wished. The central location allowed us to make beautiful visits to both Toulouse and Carcassonne. Brendon is a very jovial and approachable man. We felt welcome and enjoyed a beautiful trip.

Excellent séjour!

Brendon a préparé le séjour en amont et nous a accueilli chaleureusement. La villa est très fonctionnelle et parfaite pour la tranquillité de tous. Climatisation très appréciée dans les chambres. Les villageois ont également été très accueillants. A refaire l'année prochaine!

Maison agréable avec piscine, correspondant à nos attentes. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et très gentil, nous avons été très bien reçus. Village tranquille. Les cloches de l'église sont très présentes, seul bémol. Le reste est parfait !

Séjour Les Cassés

Nous (2 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 et 6 ans) avons passé un très bon séjour chez Brendon. La maisin est très agréable et bien équipée avec une piscine sécurisée et à l'abri de tout vis à vis. La maison est très bien placée pour visiter la region (Carcassonne, Mirepoix, Narbonne,...)

Alles wie es sein soll

Wir haben 12 wunderschöne Tage in der Villa verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit fernab von Touristen sucht ist hier goldrichtig. Es war alles vorhanden was man zum täglichen Leben benötigt, Brendon war für einen da falls man Ihn braucht. Wir würden definitiv wieder hier buchen.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. La location est tout à fait conforme. M. Flint, disponible est très sympathique. Un vrai plaisir de profiter de la piscine au retour des balades. Les cloches du village sont bien présentes mais on s’y habitue très vite.

Séjour un peu court

Maison très bien située , avec un environnement très sympathique , beaucoup de belles visites à faire et très variées. Petit problème de literie pour nous , matelas trop dur et lit vraiment trop étroit. Il serait agréable d avoir une essoreuse à salade et un presse agrumes. Monsieur Flint est très ouvert , arrangeant il donne de très bonnes explications.

Très bon accueil et disponibilité du propriétaire. Un équipement conforme au descriptif.

Nous avons passés de très bonnes vacances et avons appréciés la piscine privée sans vis à vis. La location est agréable à vivre et de nombreux sites sont à voir dans la région. Voiture indispensable car aucun commerce dans le village. Tous les commerces sont à 15mn en voiture et le pain, petite épicerie et pharmacie à 5mn. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité, l’accueil et les conseils de Brendon, le propriétaire fort sympathique.

Hmmmmm interesting place

Once the wifi was sorted, which we specifically booked a property with, we could enjoy our holiday. Sadly the place is looking somewhat tired with lights not working in the bathroom, gates that you have to push so hard to shut, an umbrella that is stuffed into a hole and leans over the whole time, Trees surround the pool so after 3pm it’s completely shaded and full of leaves and the temperature in it drops. Clean bed linen and towels would be appreciated with a two week stay.

Spacious, very well kept property.

Spacious and clean with all the equipment you need. Lovely swimming pool & terrace area to sit out with enough loungers for all. Plenty of games & we used the local pétanque area where welcoming locals played too. Great place to stay for day trips out. Would stay again.
