Beautiful, but....
The holiday flat offered an amazing experience with its stunning, brand-new, and immaculately clean facilities, coupled with a breathtaking view. However, an issue arose that significantly marred the stay.
On the first day, the toilet seat unexpectedly broke. I promptly reported the issue, and the owner assured me it was no problem. Surprisingly, the following day, I received a bill for the replacement of the toilet seat. This was completely unjust, as I did not cause the damage. I was asked to pay cash or by creditcard.
To my dismay, the owner proceeded to charge my credit card. When I contacted FEWO for assistance, I was informed that the apartment’s insurance only covers damages exceeding 500 Euros, and they advised me to pay the bill. This situation raises serious concerns about the management’s approach to guest issues.
What if other items, like a toaster or a window handle, were already damaged upon arrival? Would guests also be unfairly charged for pre-existing issues? This practice is unacceptable for a holiday rental, and as a result, I will not be returning to this property. Goodbye, apartment.
