It offers four sea view balconies and a large terrace to dine outside. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the apartment is ideal for families or a group of friends. You have access to public parking close by.

Full description: The apartment is located in the quiet part of the historic city center of Taormina and all the restaurants, bars, and nightlife locations can be reached within a short walking distance. Since everything can be reached within a short walk and the bus stop of the city line is nearby, no car is needed from what our guests say. The apartment is spacious, light-flooded, and offers stunning 360-degree views of the coastline of Calabria, the bay of Giardini Naxos, the Taormina historic center, Castemola, and Mt. Etna. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, it is ideal for families or a group of friends.

The apartment offers a spacious terrace for outside dining and five balconies with unique views.

ROOM LAYOUT

2 x double bedrooms each with a balcony and unique views of the Mediterranean Sea.
1 x small single bedroom with roof-light.
1 x small bedroom with a bunk bed which is ideal for two teenage children.
1 x large bathroom with double sink, bathtub and shower, toilette, and bidet.
1 x smaller bathroom with single sink, bathtub, shower, toilette, washing machine, roof-light.
1 x spacious living-dining area with terrace and 2 balconies, large windows, impressing views on Mt Etna, Taormina, and the Mediterranean Sea; comfortable futon flip-out sofa with duckboard and two sofa beds.

All rooms are airconditioned (except the room with the bunk-bed). Please check also our floor plan for a better understanding of the room layout. The apartment is located on the 5th floor without an elevator.

In case you visit Taormina during wintertime you can heat the apartment with the air conditioning pleasantly and also use the open fireplace. However, you need to take care of the firewood.

Upon request in advance, we will provide a baby cot and high chair. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers all utensils for cooking and dining. It has no oven but a microwave.

You can drive up in front of the condo and unload your luggage.

PARKING

Public parking is possible at "Porta Catania Parking" which is approximately a 7-minute walk distant. They offer daily and hourly rates.

Great space and location
We had a great stay at Mike’s place. The space is very nice, lots of room, very light and great views. It’s right across from a playground which our kid was at daily. Short 5 min walk down to the main strip. The only thing which others have mentioned is it is a penthouse and there’s no elevator so you do have to navigate 5 floors of stairs to the unit. We had no issues with this and it’s what give the great views. Great value and would definitely stay here again.!

Simply Amazing!
Simply amazing experience! We stayed at Micheal’s apartment for almost a week. It was lovely. The apartment was clean and every room on the sea-view side had a balcony, including the bathroom! There was a full kitchen, and everything was in place. We had supper in the large terrace overseeing the sea and evening lights of the town. The tranquility… no one wanted to go back in. The area was also very conveniently located, walking distance of restaurants, shops, and grocery. The communication with Michael and his partner, Roberto was seamless. They were quick and knowledgeable on every question we asked. The promptness was very important to us as it lessen the stress just knowing what to do and where to go. 6 flights of stairs with no lift. Stairwell with no lights. 600 meters to center, but didn't say down alot more stairs and a steep hill. Now we had to go up again through the whole process again. When our concern was voiced to owner he asked me not to write a bad review or he would give us a bad one too. Go ahead give me a bad review

Great location with great views!
It was a super way to see and immerse ourselves in Taormina and even Castelmola. The flat was well equipped, functional and easy to live in. Given the drying conditions in Taormina it was quite easy to get to by car. Getting into the main part of town was an easy 5 minute walk down the hill. We also enjoyed the easy access to the path up to Castelmola (20 minutes) where we discovered some good places to eat while enjoying spectacular views of Taormina and Mount Etna.

We had an excellent holiday - the property is central to restaurants shops and the chair lift to the beach. All communication with the property manager has been very good - always prompt with good recommendations. The view from the patio area is stunning. Taormina is relatively hilly though and there are steps to the apartment which you need to be prepared for but for us the views were worth it! Many thanks

Very nice apartment located close to everything. Great communication even though I didn’t need much Roberto did allow us a late checkout with no problem. The one thing that would have been nice is to have a espresso machine , there is a espresso pot but no coffee to make it. Other than that it’s a great place if you’re visiting Taormina.

Four of us stayed here and found the apartment has plenty of room for us. The apartment is a challenging walk uphill to get to and then another challenging walk up several flight stairs but all worth it for the amazing views of the sea on one side and mountains on the other. One large terrace to sit and relax as a group Apartment is a short downhill walk to the main high street and is located in a quiet residential area The apartment has everthing that you need in the kitchen and the owner was great in communicating with me

Magnificent views. Great location to centre. Comfortable living quarters Only drawback was that the penthouse was on the fifth floor with no elevator. Carrying luggage up 77 steps was difficult. It is not suitable for the elderly or anyone with any physical difficulties. But the stairs were great exercise for the rest of our stay

The Views!
Spacious penthouse apartment very close to the center of town. The terrace was wonderful place to hang out and the views are fantastic. The place was well-equipped, beautiful and spacious. The five-story walk up didn't bother us -- the views and privacy were worth it. It was hard to locate the exact building, even for local taxi drivers, gps couldn't pinpoint the building. Check-in was a little difficult. The trash situation was very hard to figure out -- instructions and containers needed.

5th floor apartment/no elevator - understood. NOT a short walk to city center as suggested - long walk up a steep incline to get to apt.. 2 of the bedrooms were very small. Roof terrace was great but other balconies were too small to use. Hope this helps.

Smaller then I thought...
The purpose of this review is to help the next traveler decide if this property is right for them. We had a good time in this apartment but it has its Pros/Cons: Pros: Excellent 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and balconies Fully functional 2 Bathrooms Excellent AC in almost every room Great views of the bay and mountains from the large open terrace Quite location away from the noise and crowds. Feels safe. Brand new working kitchen. Great communication with host, greetings upon arrival, taxi service recommendation etc Cons: The other 2 bedrooms are the size of a shoe box and only suitable for kids 15 or younger. If any adults from your party will have to sleep in one of those rooms, they will be very unhappy. Slope ceiling in the open DR/LR/ space is quite low and at one point going down to almost 4 feet, I hit my head a few times trying to get things out of the closet. Location: from Catania gates you need to walk up quite a bit of steep streets and stairs before you even get to the building and then again up the stairs to the top floor. Once you get there you are out of breath(I was) and need to take a shower. Parking is not easy to find. Would I stay there next time I am in Taormina-probably not. Will try to find something closer to main street without steep hike.

We wanted to spend some time experiencing Taormina and using it as a base to visit Etna and we were happy to find this apartment not too far from the town centre. It coincided with one of the hottest weeks this year so were glad of the air conditioning

Schöner Aufenthalt
Bei unserer etwas zu frühen Ankunft wurde das Appartement gerade gereinigt und war danach in einem tadellosen Zustand. Die Wohnung ist für 4 Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder perfekt- gerade mit den zwei gut ausgestatteten, modernen Bädern. Von der wundervollen Terrasse hat man einen tollen Rundumblick auf Taormina, und kann diesen morgens zum Frühstück und abends bei einem Getränk genießen. Schön wäre es, wenn es in der Küche eine automatische (Nespresso-)Kaffeemaschine gäbe; ansonsten war die Küche mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Kinderbett und Kinderhochstuhl waren auch vorhanden. Nicht zu unterschätzen ist allerdings, dass man nach einem 10-minütigen Aufstieg von Taormina Zentrum noch 5 Stockwerke zur Wohnung hoch gehen muss. (Kinder und Kinderwagen hochtragen!!!) Der Empfang und die Unterstützung durch Roberto war hervorragend und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Für ca. 1 Tag gab es Probleme mit der Wasserversorung in unserem Stadtviertel - Roberto hat uns sofort mit Trinkwasser und Informationen versorgt!

I degreed in Germany in economics and in engineering and gained my Ph.D. in Austria. I work for many years in the information technology business which gives me the opportunity to work "where my computer is".

Being married to an Italian I love cooking and enjoying life in its best way.
