Private Estate in the heart of Tuscany with private Pool and spacious garden

The house is located 6 miles outside of Cortona, on the Tuscan/Umbrian border, near Lake Trasimeno. The house dates back to the 1700s and was originally a farmhouse. It is set a third of the way up the hill, below a forest and we have over a hundred acres in which you can roam.
The main house has 4 bedrooms with fans:
1 master bedroom with double beds,
2 twin bedrooms (they can be arranged as double),
1 single bedroom with French bed,
3 bathrooms,
a beautiful living room with books (especially for children!) and fireplace,
a charming dining room
and a fresh portico with chairs and table.
On the upper area of the garden, overlooking the hill town of Cortona, there is a large swimming pool with pool house. It is perfect for the warm summer days and to enjoy a fresh glass of Prosecco at sunset. We get enchanting colours up in the sky! The swimming pool is in a secluded position above the property and not within view of the house which allows again for an extra sense of privacy.

The separate guest house called Casa dei Nonni is
within the grounds with its own garden area and drive. It sleeps 4 very comfortably and would suit a couple on their own or with an extra guest or older child as there is an extra bedroom which is not en-suite. It also has its own kitchen and spacious living room with many books and fireplace too. Just the bedrooms of this unit are air conditioned.
