Property fine though bathroom bin not been emptied, the owners two daschunds below us did not stop yapping and so we cut our stay short and came home a day early. NOT A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.
A lovely studio flat in the countryside very quiet and relaxing stay the property owner was really nice and was there if you needed anything we had a lovely stay and look forward to staying again.
Very comfortable, well-equipped studio set in beautiful countryside. A bird and nature lover's paradise. Perfect for walkers and cyclists, antique-hunters, and tourists who enjoy visiting National Trust properties and gardens.
This property is beautifully presented. It is so different to any place I have ever stayed at before, it was so peaceful and tranquil but was equipped with everything necessary to be comfortable and functional. The property owners were so pleasant and helpful. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

A wonderful long weekend spent in a beautiful part of the country. Lovely old apartment tastefully decorated complete with old beams and slopey floors. Ideally situated for visiting National Trust properties. Thank you for letting us stay here.

cider barn
Myself and my partner spent a week at Cider Barn studio apartment and I must say that the apartment itself is lovely. It is small but very quaint, with a lot of character. The only complaint we have with the apartment itself is that there is no oven as advertised on the website.
From the description of the apartment it is not made clear that the apartment is part of and adjoined to the owners residence so there is a limited sense of privacy. Although the website states pets are welcome, unfortunately this welcome wasn't extended by the owners noisy pair of terriers, who proved to be a real nuisance. As well as being noisy the dogs carried out quite a nasty attack on our dog whilst I walked him to our car on the lead. This was very stressful and soured the experience somewhat. One of their dogs was fond of spending time on step outside our front door so this caused a problem whenever we wanted to leave with our dog.
Although we enjoyed our stay we would not have chosen to stay at this apartment if we had known the proximity of the owners residence and the presence of their noisy terriers.
Yours sincerely

Why they chose this property
We love this area for its miles and miles of beautiful scenery and crowd and traffic free walking and riding. You can walk in glorious countryside all day with incredible views and rarely meeting anyone else. There is an Iron Age hill fort, Croft Ambury, at the top of Bircher common where you can see almost 360 degrees and over Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Wales where the armies used to look out for the marauding Welsh enemy
