very disappointing air conditioning
We stayed mid to late August after much searching for a suitable home with full air conditioning.
On the day of arrival a smooth and welcoming greeting with a small welcome food pack, the agent had an issue with 1 of the bedroom aircon units, but claimed not to know this property or any issues to do with the air conditioning! On walking into one of the bedrooms it was stifling hot and the air conditioning immediately failed to work.
This was immediately reported and 2 days later the engineer appeared, who informed us that it was dirty and had not been recently serviced. He spent 6 hours day 1, but then it was still not working. Then 2 days later he returned for a further 4 hours but it was still not working.
Again immediately we reported and for the following 6 days there was no engineer. During this period the other bedrooms aircon units stopped working, due to the main consumer unit constantly tripping out.
From the start we informed the company that I was 70 years old with significant respiratory issues and therefore needed aircon.
Other than give us 2 small portable fans no response was forthcoming. We are disappointed with how the situation was handled and the communication. We expected better service and things like the air conditioning to be fully working given the amount we paid to stay there.
