Great little cottage. Quiet but 2 mins walk to Holt high st. Great area to walk dogs right behind the house. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay again.
Great for dog walks being right on the hills and near the old railway line. Very kind to have left milk and cakes which were useful to get us started. Worked well for a short stay. Property was clean but would suggest a bit of attention to the grouting in the shower room which was starting to get a bit of mold.
What a lovely little cottage so close to the centre of Holt. Perfect to bring your dog too with Spout Hill on your doorstep.
We will most definitely be back!
Lovely clean dog friendly cottage, in a quiet location right next to Sprouts hill for walking the dog but only a 3/4 min walk to the centre of Holt with plenty of shops & places to eat & drink, highly recommended this accommodation
Had a lovely couple of days staying at the cottage despite the weather ! Great location to explore North Norfolk.
Cottage was comfortable with everything we needed.
Easy to park and great for dog walks

Beautiful cottage set in a perfectly charming area!
This perfectly positioned cottage was everything we could have wished for a relaxing break, with shops, and beautiful walks right on your doorstep. Will definitely look forward to booking again!
A nice cottage in a perfect location for strolling into Holt. Parking very good. Excellent dog walking area within 200 yards of the cottage at Spout Hill wildlife area. The cottage is tucked right in the corner at the end of the row, so gets no one walking past, and has a fairly private patio area for when it isn't quite so cold. The cottage has all you need, though we would have liked some shelving of some sort in the bathroom on which to put toiletries etc. A minor point but It would have helped. It was however a nice wet room, albeit on the ground floor. The heating system was also very efficient and easy to control. Overall a very nice stay in an ideal location.
Although on the smaller side, this cottage was perfect for a 4 night stay with 4 adults/teens and a dog. It was easy walking distance into Holt (4-5 mins) but had some lovely hills to walk on with the dog directly from the house and plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby. We would definitely return.
Wonderful short break at short notice.
Everything about the cottage, holt and the locality was great.
Cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lots of great independent shops just a short walk away in holt and numerous places to visit all within a short drive. We were sad to leave and will hopefully return soon.
Thank you
Mike, Jacqueline and Sidney.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. In a great position, a few mins walk into lovely bustling Holt centre yet in a quiet location. Lovely park at the back of the cottage. Our dog loved it.
Centrally placed to visit many superb locations nearby from varied coastal towns and villages to lovely various parks. Loved Sheringham Park and Holt Park.
Short scenic drive to the coast passing through some lovely country villages.
The cottage was very clean. Nicely laid out.

Cosy but not clean
Sadly-all the dishes we used needed to be washed first as they were filthy. The floor wasn’t clean and the cushions on the sofas had stains. It was disappointing and really unfortunate, we were happy to leave.

Awful bed
The cottage is very small, but for two people for a short period it is adequate. Location is fantastic, being a very short walk from the centre of Holt. The negatives - kettle was filthy and full of limescale. The crockery and glassware was dirty. The bed is SO terrible. So much so that we tried to find a hotel for the second night to avoid having to sleep in it again, despite having paid for two nights. The staircase is also beyond loud, and with the bathroom being downstairs, if you need to use it during the night you will not only wake up your partner, but anyone within a square mile! Property needs to have a bit of money invested in it, and then it would be fine.
Clean and well presented- everything needed for a comfortable stay. Should be noted that the back garden is a shared courtyard for those with dogs, but open parkland is on the doorstep.
The cottage had adequate facilities which was both cosy, up to date and cheerful. On entry we were gifted with fresh flowers, milk in the fridge & some yummy cake. The cottage was ideally situated, a stones away from the lovely town of Holt where we got lost in enjoyment exploring the quaint little shops dotted around the historic town. Literally only a few miles away, you could visit the seaside resorts of Cromer & Sherringham but for a full day out u can travel all around the Norfolk coast as far as Wells Next to Sea, Holkham & Brancaster, for an ideal family day out. Probably one of the best locations we have been to in terms of a short break.
We had a fab time, Charlie, our dog absolutely loved her time exploring on her first holiday, and having Spout Hill right on our door step was a great bonus. Excellent place to stay, Holt is a lovely village with some lovely eateries and pubs, we loved the feathers. And with many of the beach resorts within a short driving distance.
The cottage, Home Again, had all the amenities you need and more including a designated parking space, we would highly recommend this place and so would Charlie, everywhere was dog friendly.
A lovely cottage in a lovely place. Holt had everything we needed. Very good location for sightseeing and a friendly place. Would definitely recommend this cottage
.
Home again is a really lovely cottage, welcoming and warm. It is well equipped and comfortable, tucked away in a quiet corner, but in a fab location, one minutes walk from the beautiful town of Holt, and it's pubs, restaurants, and independent shops.
It hasn't got a private garden, but don't worry about that, it is literally only seconds from Spout Hill nature reserve, so us with our two dogs, did not feel inconvenienced in the slightest.
We would recommend a nice walk to the wonderful Kings Head pub/hotel in Letheringsett via the old reilway line, not too long a walk, but enough to build up a thirst!
In summary, we were sad to leave

Cosy cottage within easy walking distance of all Holts Cafes, Pubs and Shops. Had a lovely stay again and hope to return.
