Beautiful location but not as peaceful as we would have liked
Good location for visiting the western Cevennes, basic accomodation that was comfortable for two. It could get a bit noisy in late afternoon and early evening but the view was stunning. Parking occasionaly awkward and the steps up to the cottage could be difficult for some.

About the host
Hosted by Derrick Wild
We are a couple who visiting the area with our children and with our caravan fell in love with Cantobre and bought the house just next day. We used it has a holiday home for 15 years and then extended the property into the old stables, retired here and started letting our original house for holidays. We live in the adjacent property and are always on hand to help you. I was a civil engineer and my wife brought up our family
Why they chose this property
We feel in love with village the beautiful village and the river. Our children now holiday with us here every year and our middle daughter lived with here husband in Nant for 7 years and we have two grand children born in Nant.
What makes this property unique
We loved the beautiful views of the village square and down the valley. We like the vibrant summer when during the day the village is busy with visitors but love the evening when it the village is peaceful . We love the old village houses which have now been renovated and improved.
