Perfect
It was perfect from start to finish, rock cakes made for arrival, freshly laid eggs for breakfast, log burner lit for us. Wendy and Adrian left us alone but were there if we needed anything at anytime, was lovely waking up looking out at the horses and eating in the dining room looking out at the birds on the bird table.. would definitely recommend

Amazing
Only a two night stay but amazing. We wanted a good walk for my sister’s birthday. This was perfect walks from the door step, nice clean cottage, yet just a short drive to the nearest town. Wendy was great helping us with the real fire, both Wendy and partner was friendly but not in our space. Need to go back two days not enough time to see everything. Would definitely recommend.

It was our second stay at the cottage, we love it there. Wendy & Adrian are so welcoming, there is everything you need in the cottage for a very comfortable stay. It’s very peaceful, beautiful countryside. Lovely walking countryside all around the cottage. Will be going back. It’s great to look out of the window & see the horses.

Cosy weekend
Wendy was an outstanding host from start to finish. She contacted us to help us re-route due to a road closure, ensured there was a roaring fire awaiting us on our arrival and was genuinely interested in our plans for the weekend. The cottage was the perfect cosy base for us. Traditionally decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay. So many guidebooks are provided that I can't wait to get back to explore further!! Very many thanks!

Cottage for 4 near Church Stretton
Caradoc cottage was the base for an amazing stay in the Shropshire hills. The cottage was spotlessly clean, totally comfortable and provided everything you might need for a wonderful stay even down to kindling and logs for the (unseasonable) use of the wood burner and a welcome batch of rock cakes and tea on arrival. Wendy and Adrian are the perfect hosts too - friendly and helpful with a wealth of information so thank you.

Excellent return visit
This is our second visit to the property and we enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Wendy and Adrian are very welcoming hosts and our granddaughter loved seeing the horses and chickens. We found lots of places to visit in the locality and particularly enjoyed Housemans restaurant in Church Stretton. Many thanks again to Wendy & Adrian from John, Ann, Sarah & Emily

Spotless and comfortable!
A very peaceful retreat in lovely countryside. Wendy and Adrian were the perfect hosts, respecting our privacy but available for advice or a chat. Walks from the door and a variety of birds at the bird table. Many walk books and map to use. Milk, wine and cake left for us.....perfect!

Lovely cottage in beautiful area
This is a very clean, tidy and well equipped cottage. The friendly owners are next door. A lot of local information is provided for reference, and the location is ideal for walking from the cottage, or a short drive to other areas for walking or site seeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably return in the future.

Great accomodation and location, and really nice owners
We chose this for our wedding anniversary - particularly as it had a woodburner stove. Great accomodation with everything you could want. Wendy had made us a cake and left a bottle of wine - even though we were only there for 2 nights. Can see why all the other reviews I saw had been 5 stars and happy to score the same.

Very clean cottage with all our needs provided particularly for our nineteen month old grandchild.
A warm greeting from Wendy and Adrian with a generous welcome pack and we felt immediately at home in this lovely rural cottage situated on a horse farm. This greatly entertained our baby with horses and chickens to see up close, sheep in surrounding fields and birds on the bird table. Church Stretton is just a short journey away and we particularly liked ‘Catch’ tapas and cocktail bar. The surrounding moorland hills are a spectacular joy including Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd. Visits to National Trust properties such as Attingham, Powis and Berrington were really enjoyable. Thank you Wendy and Adrian for helping us to enjoy our first visit to Shropshire and we hope to return some day. Cottage very much recommended.

The cottage was clean, tidy and well appointed, which is what was expected having stayed at one of the owners other properties before this. There was plenty of kindling and wood for the wood burner which, during a cold and snowy week, made the lounge very cosy during the evening.

Very warm welcome, cottage very comfortable and beautifully clean.
Lovely cottage, very clean and well kept, the owner was very welcoming and informative. The surrounding area, gardens etc, we're not at their best because of the time of year and the weather at the time, but full of snowdrops etc, and the bird table was an amazing sight just outside the dining room window. Would definitely consider going again during the summer months.

THIS PLACE IS REALLY LOVELY!
Wendy and Adrian are the sort of genuinely warm people who don't get in your way, are laid back but really efficient, and have thought of everything you might need in the cottage, including stuff I haven't even got organised in my own home. The log burner is easy to light (although they'd lit it for us when we arrived), everything works and is beautifully clean, the maps and local information provided is extensive and really useful, the home-made buns and newly-laid eggs left for us were excellent, the bed is comfortable, even the horses are friendly. Wendy had offered to get shopping in for us, which we said we didn't need, but anyway had left a load of basics for us. There are beautiful walks right from the doorstep, and the cottage is right between Caer Caradoc and The Lawley, and only a few minutes drive to Church Stretton, where the most fantastic delicatessen, Van Doesburg's in the High Street, does the best ready-made meals, puddings and cakes, sandwiches, a wonderful selection of cheeses, all excellent quality. We loved our few days there, and would go back like a shot. Felt sad leaving after only 3 days!

Excellent property. Comfortable, cosy and well appointed.
The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent base for exploring Shropshire, in between the Caradoc Hills and the Long Mynd. Views were stunning. Plenty of interesting towns and villages within easy reach. We call it the "County of Flowers". One week was not enough to do everything we wanted, so we will have to return.
