About this property

This newly renovated, 250 sq ft studio is located on our main property but is separated by a privacy fence and has its own private drive and patio. It is two blocks from downtown shops, entertainment, coffeehouses and restaurants.

It is minutes from Spearfish Canyon, walking distance to the Spearfish City Park & Historic DC Booth Fish Hatchery, a 15-minute drive to Deadwood, a 20-minute drive to Sturgis, 1-hour to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park and a 25-minute drive to all the winter sports the hills has to offer.

The kitchen has all utensils, pantry items, dishes and pots/pans you will need for your stay and a local, family-owned grocery store w/ spirits is located less than a block away for a quick trip to stock the fridge.

The bedroom/living space has a queen size murphy bed with a couch, chairs and a 50” smart TV for plenty of room if you decide to stay in and hangout.

The recently renovated bathroom with walk-in shower comes stocked with towels, beach towels, basic toiletries and hairdryer.

A private driveway with outdoor patio has chairs, a fire pit and a grill ready for summer evenings.

This property is the perfect size for a couple's getaway but can accommodate a family with small children with extra sleeping mattresses available.

Perfect place for myself and my husband.

Property was clean, in great shape, had everything we needed. It was so nice to have information included about Spearfish!! That grocery store was so nice and just so close. We really enjoyed the walk ability to downtown. Your cottage is surely a diamond!! We would stay again!!

Perfect location

My niece and I spent a long weekend here. The drive to Custer State Park, the drive through the scenic byway, and the walk downtown for coffee made this spot the perfect place to stay. It was cozy and comfortable and quiet. I hope to come back again!

Cozy room

Cozy little place located a few blocks from downtown Spearfish. Melissa was very helpful, including bringing over a Thermos full of coffee when we couldn't figure out how to get the coffee maker going the first morning we were there and checking to see if we needed another one the next morning (we didn't - we figured out what we'd done wrong). Definitely a place we'd stay at again if we ever come back to Spearfish.

Great little accomodation

The cute little rental was easy to find and very quiet. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The floor in the kitchen and bathroom do slope a bit. That would be my only concern

The place is adorable. It was perfect for the two of us. The only problem I had was that I am 5'8" tall and the toilet was VERY short. As I have back problems, it was challenging. But we would come back again.

We are the Haught's, a family of five. We are originally from Wyoming but made Spearfish our permanent home in 2000. We purchased our 1895 victorian home with carriage house and immediately began renovating it. We hope you enjoy our space and Spearfish as much as we do.
