Emerald Shores is a private resort community, located in Miramar Beach, designed with your vacation in mind. The community offers two pools (one seasonally heated), tennis court, basketball goal, shuffleboard, seasonal beach tram, and a private beach pavilion for the exclusive use of Emerald Shores guests’. The beach pavilion offers private beach access with open decks, private bathrooms, picnic tables, discounted beach service, and food service from the nearby Kenny D’s Beach Bar and Grill restaurant. The community is within walking distance to the beach, as well as several restaurants, and boasts beautiful landscaping and distinctive bohemian architecture.

The custom built ‘Destiny Sun’ is located in a quiet cul de sac of the Emerald Shores resort community. The home boasts ample outdoor space with a front porch, screened in side porch, and fully fenced back yard. The fully updated kitchen offers new appliances, a breakfast bar with seating for 2, and dining table with seating for 6. An outdoor table and charcoal grill on the patio allows you to get the most out of the Florida sun. A washer and dryer is also available for your convenience.

Located between Destin and Santa Rosa Beach, Miramar Beach offers the best of the area with award winning golf courses, premium shopping, and beautiful sugar sand beaches.

Do not be misinformed

House is good, beds are great. Loved the kitchen and appliances. You need to know that the patio looks nothing like the pics. No grill on patio. A small knee high charcoal grill on front porch. Patio furniture was old and worn. Living room furniture was also worn and old. No bunk beds (as shown in the pics) 2 stand up showers, no bathtub. Quite a walk to beach, and you cannot drive and park car. No where to park. Not an option. Shuttle golf cart will take you to and from beach. Very nice, we enjoyed getting to know Cole:) Says “backyard” in listing. No yard. Only patio. Says “picnic tables” at pavilion. Only 1 and pavilion is tiny, not a place you would want to hang out. The private beach is very small. I walked it. It is roughly 50 paces wide. Pic shows 1 row of chair/umbrellas. False. 3 rows and they take up 90% of beach. Not enough room left to set up more than a few, if you bring your own. Forget setting up corn hole or playing frisbee. No space. That was the biggest disappointment of all. And you cannot set up canopies or tents, even if you could make the space. We will not be back, not because of house, but Emerald Shores resort itself.

Property and neighborhood was nice. Little to far from the beach. Miscellaneous stuff, such as sheets were not of high quality. The golf cart team was nice but only ran 9-5. Location in Destin was safe and was within distance of most things.

No bunk beds.

The bunk beds were not there. The couch was different in the picture. Basically I had to have my son sleep on the couch. Got in contact about it and they didn’t even know the bunk beds were not there even though they were in the pictures.

Stay in Destin 16 Onyx Cove

The property was clean. I was disappointed that the bunk beds were no longer there. Our visit did not start well. The key codes that access the front key to enter the property did not work. A current resident gave us the code. The second day I received an email saying I left a cooler out on top of the trash. We did not own that cooler and told the trashman, but I still received an email from property management. The lawn sprinklers ran continuously for 2 days although I notified management. Once again on our fifth day, the access code to the gate was changed again and I was not informed. I was told VRBO did not manage these codes that the HOA does. Once again we were stuck outside of the gate for more than an hour waiting for someone to let us in. The cable TV did not work, therefore no access to local news. I will not choose this property again.

Weekend Trip

Everything was nice, a few bugs but that's expected when staying close to the beach. It was a super easy and quick walk to the beach. Only downfall was the pool said it was heated but it definitely was not and the owners barely provided enough stuff to use. We had to go out to buy more trash bags, soap, etc and there was no salt/pepper. It did not feel like a VRBO but more a basic condo.

Nice Vacation Rental

We enjoyed our stay. The king and queen beds were very comfy. The tile floor needs a deep cleaning. But overall very good place to stay. The house is spacious and great for a group. We sat on the back patio every night.

It was great we loved how much room it had for everyone. We were able to walk to the beach without a problem. Neighbors were nice. Floors seemed extremely dirty though and there was nothing available so we could clean them oursevles.

Family trip

This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff and property's were very nice and clean. Everything was what we expected. The walk to the beach is so short and the beach was clean and it was not over crowded. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay

This house was great! It had plenty of room to sleep our 5 teenagers and two 10 year olds. The location was amazing. The walk was not too bad. It was convenient having a dollar store in walking distance. The beach was amazing. I would definitely rent it again.
