About this property

A beautiful Ocean Point Cottage! This charming cottage, rarely rented, is privately located at the end of a long driveway, yet is walking distance to the activity center and tennis courts. It has a beautiful ocean view from its wrap-around deck as well as from the living room and master bedroom. The living room has 2 sitting areas separated by an expandable dining table. There is a pull-out couch in the living room. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the smaller bedroom has twin beds. There are 1 and 1/2 baths, and the full bath has a tub. A washer and dryer are located in a room off the kitchen. Further amenities include: cable TV, internet, phone, Rinnai heater in the living room, Weber grill, stone fireplace, patio furniture. Flowers and window boxes are enjoyed on the deck and from the living room. No smoking, no pets, no small children.

Idyllic stay on the ocean's edge

Ocean Point is a delightful destination: away from it all but close enough to the many things to do in the Boothbay Harbor/Pemaquid Point area, including good restaurants, boat rides and more. This cozy (but definitely not too small), comfortable cottage was just right for the start of our Maine vacation. The deck is a wonderful place to sit to contemplate the ocean--day and night. Open all the windows for the refreshing ocean breeze and you will want to linger in the living room for hours. The two bathrooms is a plus. If you are looking for a cottage with the sterile feel of a hotel room, this is not it. The friendly owner's life is on display in the many family photos, personal items, and the selection of books on the shelves. It made us feel right at home, as if this were our vacation getaway that we come to every year. We are already planning dates for next year.

Beautiful home with amazing ocean views

The Eakin home in Ocean Point is perfectly situated- far enough off the main drag for privacy, but close enough to see and hear the ocean. The home was wonderfully appointed with plenty of everything needed to vacation by the sea. Ocean Point is the place to be in the Boothbay region. The kids loved being so close to the ocean to walk and play on the rocks, and we utilized the community beach to swim. We absolutely loved our time in Ocean Point and were very fortunate to him this gem of a home. Two thumbs up, five stars and a true 10 out of 10!
