Ideally situated to explore all areas of Carmarthenshire
A lovely property that catered for all of our needs. In the current Covid-19 crisis the additional precautions were not onerous and we adapted easily. The property owner had a wide knowledge of the area and was able to help and advise as required. Would love to visit again

Peaceful Lication
The Red Kite Cottage was peaceful and well fitted. There was an amazing view and space to breathe. We were interested in finding Welsh ancestral town and sites and Nicki was wonderful in sharing her knowledge of the area. The Red Kite cottage location was perfect for exploring Carmarthenshire. I hope we can return in the near future.

Beautiful cottage with helpful, friendly owner
We booked a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it, although the weather was "changeable" at best! The cottage is clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water.
Nicki is an excellent host and spent a lot of time telling us what there was to do and how to get to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and would recommend it.

Brilliant!
Had an amazing stay in Red Kite Cottage. We spent 4 days there and can't complain about anything. the cottage was well equipped and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Nicola, the owner, made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend the cottage for both couples and families.

Nice cottage, nice location.
The cottage has everything you need for any length of stay. Nicki will help in any way on where to go and what to do locally, and beyond in the lovely county of Carmarthenshire. With wild Red Kites soaring above over the farmland and lots of tame chickens in the farmyard, bird fanciers will have a field day.
The cottage has Wifi which is very handy, but we think w.w.w really stands for Wild West Wales....Enjoy.

Comfortable and as relaxing as you want it to be
Exactly as described with everything we needed for our stay. Excellent advice from Nikki on everything from cheapest petrol and closest shops, to local attractions and how to fit them together to make the most of our time and weather (generally good). We felt like we packed quite a bit in to the short break and were able to stay a bit longer as there was no following weekend booking! However we could quite easily have just stayed in for a very relaxing time as it was clean, recently decorated, comfortable and warm with great views.
Lots to see and do in easy driving distance. We saw the Red Kite feeding and did the Top Gear tour but also visited several several castles and NT properties including the Dolaucothy gold mine - good underground tour!
Nikki was very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay without being intrusive and I am sure if, we had wanted, she would have left us to ourselves.
It was difficult to leave - I am sure we will be back and would recommend it to friends or family without hesitation. Jon, Rosie and Andrew

A Peaceful Haven
My husband and I wanted somewhere quiet to stay in the Carmarthen area and this fitted the bill perfectly. On our arrival we were met by the cottage owner who gave us a guided tour of the property. Everything was well presented, with fresh flowers in the living area.and a welcome pack which included delicious Welsh Cakes!
There was plenty of information about attractions in the area including a recommended 'Top Gear Towy Valley Drive'. We followed this route and included a visit to an excellent Red Kite Feeding Centre during our day's outing.
We were very lucky with the weather ( very little rain!) and were able to sit out on the terrace admiring the beautiful countryside view over a large glass of wine!
We would definitely stay again.
