An interesting property. An 'upside down' house in that the kitchen/dining room/lounge are on the first floor with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. In the hot weather of summer 2022 this was quite an advantage as it was much cooler downstairs at nights. The house is a maximum 30 seconds' walk from the beach, and all the other amenities in Alnmouth are within easy walking distance. Will definitely return
Been to Alnmouth a few times, but this was the best location so far. Great facilities and spotless. Would love to return.

BRILLIANT WEEK
Great location and a very clean and well situated property with a pretty good view of the Aln Estuary. The fabulous beach is just around the corner, as are all the shops and various eateries. Not entirely sure that the staircase to the upstairs lounge is entirely suitable for elderly people, or dogs that cannot be carried up it, but otherwise great. Weather similarly amazing.

Stunning location and accommodation
We spent an absolutely wonderful weekend at Baysyde. The accommodation was fantastic with superb views over the Aln estuary. The area is stunning with breathtaking scenery. Baysyde is only a 2 minute walk to probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Northumberland. There are good eating places both in Alnmouth and the surrounding areas - the Old Boatshed in Amble is well worth a visit.
Sue the owner could not have been more helpful - we will definitely be back.

Perfect Location
Would definitely recommend Baysyde for anyone wanting a break in Alnmouth or Northumberland. Perfect location, a two minute walk from the beach and estuary as well as Alnmouth's village pubs. Stayed with a toddler and dog and found Baysyde beautifully appointed and ideal for a family break, the little boy loved looking at the boats in the estuary out of the lounge window! Will definitely be staying again.

Fantastic location in much-loved village
This comfortable, spacious and well-equipped holiday home has been thoughtfully renovated by friendly and helpful owners, who clearly love Alnmouth and want guests to enjoy their holiday. The location and setting could not be better - seconds from the beach and a short walk to the beautiful and unspoilt village, with several nice cafes etc. Alnmouth is much loved by those fortunate enough to know it. The surrounding area is also tremendous for all ages to experience and explore - including wonderful quiet beaches, exceptionally picturesque hills and moorland in the Cheviot Hills, and slightly more developed tourist attractions in places like Alnwick and Seahouses. (We were here with our two young children.) We hope to be back many times.
