The cottage was lovely and very clean and tidy very welcoming as was the village. Lyn Wheatley was an amazing host very helpful and friendly. I would recommend a visit to the cottage and the village
Very clean and tidy cottage, attractive garden - great to sit in & eat tea&cake after walking whilst admiring the mountain opposite. Ideal location for walking. Didn't drive all week - either walked from cottage or used buses. Good meal at local pub (Tanronnen Inn). Property manager very helpful. Local Tourist Information Centre very helpful to someone who hadn't used buses for decades.
Beddgelert is a lovely village within Snowdonia National Park, extremely picturesque with the river glaslyn running through it, the 1 bedroomed cottage 'Arosfa' was ideal for 2, clean, garden with a view and many walks locally that we didn't use our car, local guide booksclearly show these but caernafon, portmadog and other tourist destinations are all within easy reach. If a walking holiday is your thing then this is a truly wonderful place to stay. Lyn the owner lives in the village so any issues (we didn't have any) is on hand if needed. A little gem of a find, will be back.

Pristine, beautiful property providing all the facilities for a comfortable stay.
Excellent communication and support form the host.
Beautiful village location with excelent facilieties.
Great location, lots of walks straight from the door, not far to drive to walk snowdon Could walk to pubs, always a bonus. We went to Y Bistro yo yr Hebog, which I would highly recommend.
The house absolutely perfect for 2, kitchen well stocked for self catering. Enormous bed. Nothing not to like
Really enjoyed the fire place. The kitchen was very practical and well stocked. The washer and dryer were easy to operate.
The village was great - nice store and friendly pub a short walk away. We were close to hikes.
Very quaint cottage with a pretty rear garden and right opposite a shallow river. Beautiful village in an ideal position for hiking, touring etc. Perfect size for 1/2 people, fully stocked with all u need and more! Some lovely touches - fresh flowers, cake and tea/coffee/milk sachets. We were very happy staying here and would highly recommend it.
Property was very clean. Small but very well formed!
Functional, well appointed and updated well.
Fabulous location. Loved the Log Burner. Owner is great and very helpful. Would stay again. Lovely local shop with several nice places to eat in short walking distance. Great walks too.
Cannot praise this idyllic little cottage enough, it was perfect. Beautiful surroundings, opposite the river. A beautiful blackbird singing every morning and evening was wonderful.
Stayed 2nd - 7th May / weather, happily good too and not overcrowded or too busy….perfect!!
Lyn (owner) had thought of everything, even all bedding, towels, cleaning products.
Even dvds in a cupboard, if fancy a night in watching and relaxing.
Had regular contact with Lyn prior to visit, and met her on arrival, lovely lady, and helpful.
Cottage was very clean and cosy.
Parking outside or along road was fine, Lyn even had space near her own home if we couldn’t get any.
Beddgelert was quiet and peaceful with many walks and easy access to reaching snowdon etc.
Plenty of places to eat (they do close early perhaps for some but for us that was ok as we don’t eat late anyway) and a lovely local shop that was very well stocked, even with fresh produce. Found all staff friendly and helpful.
Overall a wonderful stay, absolutely perfect in every way, for a birthday and our anniversary and can honestly say we’ll be back.
Would definitely stay at Lyn’s cottage again.
Thank you Lyn for making our special break so lovely.

Everything we needed in the property which was in an ideal location for exploring the local area on foot and for driving around. Nice little private garden to sit and relax.
The only issue was that we had no mobile phone signal for either of our networks. We were able to send WhatsApp messages.
For a small cottage everything was very well designed and equipped. It was a lovely cosy place to stay and very convenient for the village facilities and walks from the door. The wood-burning stove was particularly appreciated in February.
Great cottage with a wonderful location on beddgelert. A short walk to some great restaurants and pubs (though they do get busy!)
We had some rather heavy rain and wind during the week, (it is Wales in October) but Lyn reached out to make sure we were ok and all stock for firewood, which was a really kind touch.
The cottage has everything you could need to be a great base for an adventure/walking/quiet get away holiday in Snowdonia.
Lovely comfortable property in great location, lounge has sofa and not chairs as in the current picture. Host Lyn was very helpful and we had an enjoyable stay. 3 pubs in Beddgelert but all finished serving very early in the evening due to staff shortages so not easy to eat out, may be worth checking if this is important to you, Highly recommended
Absolutely loved our stay at Arosfa! The cottage was perfect - really clean and in a brilliant location. Stunning walks from the doorstep as well as pubs/cafes and a fab ice cream shop only a couple of minutes walk. Thank you Lyn!
