Apartment In Les Arcs 2000

Studio ski apartment situated in the Paradiski area one of the best in the world , 2 minutes walk to slopes, ski lifts, ski school, restaurants and shops. The apartment is in Les Arcs 2000 which is a glacier resort with guaranteed snow during the season. Also being in a 3g area if you need to take a laptop. Not only does Les Arcs offer 420km of ski area, but it is also linked to La Plagne via the Vanoise Express cable car giving you another 300km of slopes. A free bus service is offered from Arc 2000 to Arc 1800 and 1600, with a free gondola ride to Arc 1950 resort. The pretty town of Bourg St Maurice is worth a visit via the free Funicular train. Apart from the great skiing, and views, Les Arcs has a great selection of restaurants and bars close by. Conveniently beside our apartment is a smaller selection of shops, a ski hire shop, post office, as well as the ice rink (favourite with the kids!). Great resort for beginners or experienced skier.

Lovely little apartment

We have stayed at the Fond Blanc before and new what to expect. The building is a little dated but the apartment is clean and well maintained. Lovely little touches to make your stay easier, such as a really big slow cooker, cupboard essentials like oil, salt & pepper. Good supply of cleaning liquids, bin bags etc. My kids loved the sledges available. If skiing use Intersport on Place Pattionaire, really helpful. Unfortunately we began our week as France entered lockdown ☹️We only stayed two nights as a result and Leslie has been very accommodating. Will definitely be keeping her details to book for future years 🤞

Cosy great Apartment

Myself, Husband and Daughter have just returned home after spending a super New Year here in Les Arcs2000, This was our third visit to Les Arcs 2000 and on the other previous stays we have always gone to a Hotel, We fancied a change this time so we found this Apartment and to be honest i dont think we will be going back to a Hotel again, the self catering etc is the way forward for this kind of Holiday, You can please yourself when you want to eat etc, the apartment was very well equipped, it had everything you needed, it was so cosy and warm, the beds were comfy, the Tv and Dvd player went down a treat, we took some of ours to chill at night and watch, but there is already some films there to choose from, its not a big apartment but was plenty big enough for us three. The amenities are all close by, two minutes walk and you are able to ski in/ski out, five minutes walk and you are at the Bubble Lift to take you down to Les Arcs 1950 were there is plenty of restaurants and gift shops etc. The restaurants in 2000 are nice as well but if you prefer to cook your own food i would suggest the supermarket in 1950 is better than the Sherpa shop in 2000, lots more choice. Nice apartment

The apartment is a cosy little apartment with nice views of the mountains from the balcony. It is well located and close to the various ski hire shops, supermarket, restaurants and of course the slopes and ski lifts. The owner was responsive and really helpful as well. I would have no problem recommending this apartment..

Small comfortable space with amazing views from the bedroom and balcony

This was our second trip to Les Arcs, we had previously stayed in a larger apartment, however, our stay in Fond de Blanc was ideal. The space is small but extremely functional with a very comfy double bed with amazing views, a good clean bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. If you are there to ski all day and don't intend to spend too much time in the apartment then the space is perfect and cosy for a night in. Would highly recommend, better than other places we have stayed, largely down to small touches like the better standard of bed linen, a few basics in the kitchen and some lovely Molton Brown minis in the bathroom!

Perfect for us

A lovely comfortable studio apartment with all you need. Just a short walk to the slopes, we treated the stairs as part of our warm up, even though we could have used the lift! All amenities within easy reach and loved the free cabriolet joining 2000 to 1950. The double bed is very comfortable with useful sliding partition. The only slight down side, if it is a down side, is the lack of wifi, given I have 2 teenagers but actually nice to reduce time on devices - so probably a plus rather than a negative. We did have to be a bit creative with regard to storage for clothes but sorted it. Would definitely stay in this apartment again especially as the owners are very helpful. Thanks

Great base in Les Arcs 2000

Had a great week at this apartment in Arcs 2000. We were super impressed with how helpful and accommodating the hosts were before our stay, it was really appreciated. The apartment is everything you need for a base to explore Paradiski. It's well located for accessing the slops, it's very clean, and very cosy and warm. A really super stay, would highly recommend.

We had a great stay, 4 friends for one week. double bed was very comfy. sofa bed and bottom bunk were comfy too. Top bunk a little hard and not the easiest to climb in and out of. Was a lovely touch to have a TV and DVD player tin the flat too. perfect for watching ski movies in the evening to get you ready for next day! Bathroom was good - powerful shower and a large radiator for drying ski items at the end of the day. Seperate toilet was fine, although the boiler protrudes quite a bit which can make it hard to use when standing up... Kitchen and dining area did the job perfectly. two decent hobs for cooking, adequate fridge space and a big enough dining table for all 4 of us to sit round comfortably. Location is great for exploring the resort. Going to and from the apartment with ski equipment can be a bit of a struggle at peak times. The lifts can be very busy so be prepared to walk up and down stairs at some points. A few down sides - A slight lack of storage space (if bringing your own kit and equipment so have ski bags etc) and no wifi. 3G signal in the flat was quite poor too at times, but we were there during a very snowy week! On the whole though, a great flat that did the job well. The flat owner was fantastic to deal with too - very quick to respond and provided a lot of useful information.

Fantastic apartment for family of four

We stayed in this apartment over Christmas and had a FAB time. The layout of the apartment suited our family extremely well and the size of the property was bigger than what we were expecting from the photos. The double bedroom area was great. So many times have we slept on sofas, so this was a luxury! The duvet was deliciously warm and soft and arriving to the beds having been made and towels provided was very much appreciated. The shower over the bath was always red hot and powerful. No dribbling shower here. The apartment was always lovely and warm too. The games, DVD's and slow cooker were all well used. The short walk (and it is very short) was fine and not a problem for our children. The resort itself is great. The skiing area is vast and the town has a brilliant bowling alley that we enjoyed. The stroll and lift to Arcs 1950 was good too. Chalet de l'arc mountain restaurant is a MUST visit. Make sure you go inside to appreciate the decor. In summary, the apartment worked well for us and the owners were extremely helpful and responsive.

Why they chose this property

We have skied in many locations but for the last ten years have favoured the paradiski area which we consider unrivalled in choice and variation for all abilities.

What makes this property unique

In choosing a ski holiday ( which we have become expert at over the years) the most important factor for us is accessibility to the slopes. Being able to easily get back to ski school meeting point and/or come back for lunch , rather than spend a fortune eating out is a must. It also means that if some of your party want to continue skiing and some are weary it is easy to be independent. Proximity to ski rental and shops is also a must. Put this together with a reasonably priced but comfortable apartment and you are on to winner
