Suitable for couples. The Studio can suit 3 friends, or a couple with 1-2 young children who are happy to share the open plan space.

The Boat House Studio is in a wonderful area of outstanding natural beauty situated in St Lawrence on the Southern tip of the Isle of Wight and overlooking the English Channel surrounded by the Downs and lush countryside and its exotic flora and fauna.Come and stay in our stylish, self contained Boat House Studio. It is available for short stays. It is ideally located if you are walking, or cycling round the Island, or just want to experience the changing sea and skies and listen to the waves. The studio is situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty, only few minutes from bridle paths overlooking the famous Sugarloaf and Woody Bay and very close to Steephill Cove and Ventnor and with St Catherine’s Lighthouse nearby.
The Studio is selfcontained and light, bright and quirky with its own entrance and double patio doors, which open onto a small private Mediterranean style patio to sit out on. There is an open plan small kitchen/ diner for making light meals with a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi access. The walk through open plan bedroom offers a large double and a bed settee ideal for couples, or a small family who enjoy openplan living. Our wonderful Pergola looks right over the sea, with spectacular views of the Sugar Loaf great for outside eating, a drink or a cream tea and there is a modern gas BBQ for use by guests.

. A small welcome pack is available on arrival - arrangements for the key will be given in advance. Book in times are 3.00pm and departure times are 10.30am. We have a private parking space for the studio. There is a well-stocked post office/community shop across the road which offers a range of food and drinks, papers and other treats.

Beautiful getaway

We stayed here over my birthday weekend and it was the most perfect weekend! We were able to have breakfast overlooking the water every morning and the coastal path is just down the road. The studio was immaculate, beautiful decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a break on the beautiful Isle of Wight.

Beautiful property, perfect for our trip to explore the Isle of Wight. Mark and Eve are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with an afternoon tea, a bottle of wine, beers and juice and snacks for our daughter. The property has the most amazing views and we made full use of the garden and gazebo, especially in the evening. The studio is much more spacious than expected and is part of Mark and Eve's beautiful home. It's beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean. The Boathouse was very easy to find and was a great location to travel around the island. Nothing was very far away. We very much hope to return for another stay soon.

We loved everything about the Boat House Studio from the welcome by Mark and Eve (including a glass of Pimms and a cream tea) to the wonderful location and the studio itself. It is very comfortable with every amenity you might need. It was so peaceful and fantastic views from the gazebo. We spent many a happy time drinking wine and tracking ships in the Channel. The property is really well positioned for exploring the whole Island and very easy access to Ventnor which is gorgeous. A special mention for the Spyglass Inn in Ventnor and the Garlic Farm restaurant. We definitely hope to return

Beautiful location

Having got to our 30th birthdays the wife and I decided to visit a part of the UK which we had never been to, so we chose the Isle of Wight. We were not disappointed with our choice of accommodation. The owners, Eve and Mark, were easy to get hold of before we arrived via email plus they gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation was super clean and had everything we needed, one small point is wifi. As far as we were aware there wasn’t any to use but to be honest it was nice to be without our phones as signal was hit and miss on the island. The best part of the accommodation was the outside gazebo, which had heating. We used it numerous time throughout our stay, even though the weather wasn’t the best. The views were beautiful! Thoroughly enjoyed having a glass of wine overlooking the cliffs out to sea. Whilst we were there, Eve and Mark, left us to our own devices but explained if we needed anything to call on them. It’s a wonderful location and a lovely studio, will definitely look to come back.

The house with the view!

What an amazing place to stay overlooking the ocean. The place was spotless and equipped with everything you needed.. great walks around st Lawrence with amazing views. Eve & Mark left us a welcoming strawberry’s scones and cream, tea coffee and milk, and a big bottle of Coke because we don’t drink LoL. What a lovely welcome and the nicest couple. If we needed anything they were there for us.. lots of places to visit which none were very far away. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back again. Amazing place of serenity

We had a wonderful stay at the beach studio! We came for a few nights and were greeted by Eve & Mark, who welcomed us and took the time to show us around, as well as providing a lovely welcome pack of cream tea, wine, beer and milk! We really loved the gazebo outside, where we spent our evenings looking out over the sea - total bliss! The location is really good - St Lawrence is so peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely relaxing time at Mark and Eve's. The property is perfect for 2 adults, and has lovely views over the sea from the garden. It's secluded and private, and well situated for access to Ventor, the Botanic Gardens, and the roads to the rest of the island.
