This exclusive private villa is located in a secluded part of the car-free island of Lopud, Dubrovnik. Lopud is the most beautiful island in the Elephite archipelago and is best known for its pristine sand beaches, lush vegetation, rich cultural heritage and restaurants specializing in Dalmatian and Mediterranean cuisine thus making it one of the most sought after vacation spots in the Dubrovnik area. Lopud is a fantastic place for a stress free vacation and is perfect for families and couples alike, with easy access to Dubrovnik via ferry or speed boat. This centuries-old villa has been carefully restored, preserving its original Dalmatian style and characteristics whilst adding modern amenities. The key features of the villa are the terraces and outdoor space with private pool and breathtaking views, as well as ample indoor space (over 210sqm) covered in old stone. The villa has three floors, separate apartment and utility building, five bedrooms and one separate apartment that sleeps the total of 12 persons. There is a BBQ, centralized air-conditioning with separate units for each room, controlled individually, satellite TV with local and international channels, WIFI high speed internet, fully-decked out kitchen – stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and small appliances like blender, sandwich maker, etc. The apartment of 24sqm for two people has a kitchenette (fridge and stove) and bathroom, TV, double bed – great for grandparents, visiting friends or a baby sitter. Separate utility building with washer and dryer. Linen and towels provided. The house is located on a hill overlooking the bay and the town of Lopud. As there are no other houses in the vicinity, a key attraction of this property is its privacy and amazing views. The beach is approximately 200m from the sea, or a ten minute walk. There is an on-call care-taker who will address the needs of guests, arrange pick-up of guests, delivery of luggage and supplies, etc. Transfer arrangements can be made for pick-up at the airport and drop off to the island. This villa is perfect for couples or families looking for an exclusive, private, stress free, and natural environment, and offers guests an authentic Dalmatian experience for their holiday!

Absolutely Spectacular. We stayed in the beautiful Villa for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious and clean with spectacular views, great bathrooms and kitchen. The pool are is breathtaking. Dalmatian architecture makes the space so cozy and inviting. Robert was THE BEST we had many of us taking to him trying to accommodate different requests and he was right there helping us with anything we need. Would 100% come back to Croatia just to stay here again.

A beautifully renovated house in a stunning location.
My wife and I had previously stayed on Lopud on several occasions, and this time we wanted to bring the family to share 'our island'. After looking at the cost of hotel rooms, we decided to consider renting a house, and found Villa Lopud. From the start, Jelena was extremely helpful in organising our booking, arranging transfers and pre-oredering groceries. Upon arrival, we were met be Alan, the caretaker, who took care of getting our luggage up to the house, and was then unobtrusive but always available to help with anything we might need (he lives nearby). The house itself is absolutely amazing, having been renovated and converted over several years by Jelena and her husband, Dennis. The walk up is an effort as you need to climb over 200 steps, and it's uneven in places, but Wow, it's worth it! The rooms and grounds are everything you could wish for - I'd like to say a 'home from home', but I can only dream of owning a home like Villa Lopud. Spacious bedrooms, ample living space, a well configured kitchen, light and airy, and tastefully decorated. Outside there is room for families to be together, or have space to themselves - we felt that we shared a holiday but were never intruding on each other. Incredible views, great accommodation, fabulous help and support. Our new 'favourite place in the world'. Loved every minute there!

Perfect place for holidays...
Absolutely amazing place! I spent 7 days there with my family, kids enjoyed in the villa, on sandy beaches, and in swimming pool, as well as my wife, of course... And besides all that, I enjoyed in beautiful coast, nature, and in fact that there is plenty of fishes there (for those who love underwater fishing or diving this is paradise)... Perfect view, active holiday, with walking tours (no cars!), enjoying in beautiful nature of Lopud island, great mediterranean food and relaxing in luxury villa, everything so clean and nice, Dubrovnik is so close... This is what I call perfect holidays! I recommend this, you have to see...

The style and concept for the villa has been inspired by combining modern styles with old Dalmatian architecture and simplicity, which we are proud to share with our guests who long for a relaxing, authentic Croatian Mediterranean vacation experience.

Why they chose this property

Lopud's proximity to Dubrovnik, car-free, natural environment, sand beaches, rich cultural history and natural setting make this an ideal location for a vacation home. The villa's location, steps away from the village in lush forest and olive groves with no neighbours, with amazing views, is what makes this house truly unique. The property boasts the main building with 5 spacious rooms for 10-12 people, and a separate apartment or cottage for parents, babysitters and other guests. In addition to he pool, there are plenty of terraces with loads of space to unwind and for children and pets to play. The villa has all modern amenities, excellent internet and wifi, satellite TV, DVDs, games etc. Great for smaller groups who want peace and quiet and for larger groups and families. A key feature is the villa's privacy and amazing views. Ideal for weddings and other types of social or business gatherings. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars on the island for every palate and price range. The island is very safe and ideal for children and pets.

What makes this property unique

There is an on-site caretaker, who lives in a separate building away from guests, that takes care of guests' needs. Groceries and other essentials can be pre-ordered and delivered to the villa prior to arrival, though there are shops on the island. Catering options are available separately with an excellent chef who specializes in Croatian Dalmatian cuisine. Wedding and event management options available through our partners. There is an organic garden. Massage services available. Privacy, nature, clear air, great views, lots of indoor and outdoor space, newly-renovated home with all modern amenities makes this villa with a private pool a one-of a kind not only on Lopud, but in all of Dubrovnik. Also, guests can avail themselves of the organic garden. There is no house and location like it!
