This delightful cottage was very clean, charming and beautifully located in a quaint and pretty village. Well equipped with very comfortable chairs and bed. Would be very happy to revisit.
Easy to book, easy to find, well located with all you need for a comfortable stay. Log burner in the evening was welcome. Local pub, The Bull's Head and the tea room next door did not disappoint. Lots of walks of all types on the doorstep. A great place to get away from it all.
We had a wonderful holiday in this cottage in the most picturesque village. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen functioned well to meet our needs. We hope to return.
The cottage is furnished and equipt to a very high standard. The village is lovely and very close to Thornbridge hall and Chatsworth.
Lucy and Mike were very kind and helpful hosts.
Great little Cottage in a picturesque Derbyshire Village
Absolutely loved my long weekend away at End Cottage. Me and my partner travelled from Derby not that far away. The property itself is excellent! Log fire, kitchen with all mod cons.... very comfy sofas, great. All the extra blankets you need. The neighbours were friendly and there a great village pub called "The Bullshead" 3mins walk away. Also you have fantastic walks in the Derbyshire Peak District with Monsal Head, Bakewell and Buxton not far away. All in all I would definately stay here again.
We had a great stay in the cottage. It was perfectly situated in a lovely village with the best tea room and pub. The cottage had all that a couple could want for a week away.
Very cosy, warm and welcoming cottage, which is positioned centrally in the Peak District for many walks. Despite a very wet week enjoyed our stay.
Only slight disadvantage to position of cottage, on through road of village (off A6) where a lot of traffic passed by particularly peak travel time of day
Located in lovely village close to area attractions
The cottage was comfortable and equipped with most everything needed for our stay. While there was no parking provided, parking on the street was always available.
Suggestions for improvement: Replace the can opener - it is dangerous to use! Also more than one roll of toilet tissue and paper towels would have been nice.

Cosy convenient cottage
Ideally situated cottage on a quiet street in a lovely village in the Peak District with easy access to the main routes to Bakewell and further afield. Parking was available across the street. From a practical perspective has all the expected utensils and items that one would need in a self-catering home with a lot of little touches that make it more homely. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Warm, cosey & comfortable cottage
We enjoyed our stay in Ashford & End Cottage very much. We particularly enjoyed the food at the 2 pubs, The Bull and the Ashford Hotel which were both just 2 minutes walk away, so no driving, although the area has a number of other eating pubs within a couple of miles or so.
Derbyshire is a great county to visit whatever time of year - we always find places to visit. The cottage has a very comfortable bed, so a great night's sleep guaranteed!

We didn't want it to come to an End
What a great find! End Cottage in Ashford is a beautiful old cottage for two with everything that you need to have a great holiday. It was clean, well cared for and felt like home as soon as we were in the door! Lucy and Mike have obviously taken pride in presenting the cottage so attractively allowing its character to get under your skin. We enjoyed the stay so much that we have already booked it for two weeks next year. Thanks for a lovely week in End Cottage. James and Beccy Mead

Lovely country cottage in Derbyshire
A lovely cottage in a very pretty village. Plenty of places for walks and the weather was very kind to me during my stay. Not far into Bakewell which was a very interesting place to visit. Loved my stay and found it relaxing in the evenings on my return from my daily tours
