Lovely setting, nice pool, ideal for two families because of the separate sections of the house. Good quality equipment in kitchen and utility room. Large selection of games and DVDs for both children and adults. We had a great time!

Rustic, yet fabulous place for a family holiday
We enjoyed the house and the pool. There was everything one would need - good Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine, table tennis, trampoline, even a basket for market shopping. Highly recommended for relaxing family holiday.

Fantastic property in a beautiful setting - perfect for families or adult groups alike
We were initially drawn to the property by its value and the fact that it was near the wedding we were going to in nearby St Privat.
However, we were bowled away by the property which was clean, comfortable and had a really homely feel. The pool and outside area which includes a table tennis table, a lovely decking and a trampoline was the highlight but inside was spacious and clean.
We were also extremely impressed by the owners who left no stone unturned in their attention to detail when it came to making us feel welcome. The instructions on the property were the best that I've ever received.
We'd return again in a heartbeat.

Idyllic family getaway
This villa is such a perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in the French countryside.
The location is great for exploring the region including Aubeterre, Ribera, the Bordeaux wine regions and lake Jemaye.
The villa has everything you need and including a beautiful pool and table tennis. We also hired bikes from bikes4gites.com which we diverted to the house when we arrived and picked up again on our last day. The country roads around the villa are peaceful suitable for all ages.
We couldn't have wished for a better stay.

Fabulous!
We had the most wonderful, relaxing holiday at this lovely farmhouse. Set in a beautiful, quiet area there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our party of 8 ( 4 of those were kids aged 4-10). The location is perfect for exploring the picturesque area and there was plenty for us to see and do nearby. We only wish we could have stayed longer- just heavenly!

Would highly recommend
We have had some wonderful holidays in this charming house. It is spacious, clean and very well equipped.
With 3 children ranging in age from 14 to 3 years old, we found that there was something to keep everyone entertained. The pool is a good size and the decking area is perfect for big family meals and a spot of sunbathing! There are also some great activities nearby such as tree climbing and the lake.
The owners are lovely and we look forward to returning to this property in the near future.

a real gem
We've stayed a number of times (family of 6) and love the place and the area.
The property is surprisingly spacious and is great for that relaxed, informal , kick-about type holiday.
It really is a beautiful place to stay and together with the house that is always clean, it works well, we would not hesitate to recommend it.

Ideal family holiday
For a completely chilled family holiday, this is the ideal spot. The huge garden, pool and trampoline kept the children amply entertained while we relaxed on the spacious decking in the sunshine - perfect!

Great for Families
If you want a house which is great for families, this is the one. It is very well equipped, the accommodation is extremely comfortable and well appointed, and it is in really tranquil spot.
For the more active the house is very well placed for a wide range of family activities, from cycling to kayaking to swimming at Lac Jameye. However it is just as good for those who want a more peaceful time, for reading a book and a relaxing cup of coffee in a quiet village square.
So a very hearty recommendation. You will be delighted if you have your holiday at Leymarie.

Wonderful Family holiday
My family of 4 (2 young sons) had a fabulous time here with friends. The house is fantastic - clean, spacious with excellent facilities.
The pool is great - perfect for the kids to splash about in - while my husband, friends and I could keep an eye on them on the wide patio enjoying the sunshine a comfortable chair and a glass of Rose.
the outside area is ideal for BBQs and has a large table - perfect for big groups.
the views are lovely and there is plenty to do in the surrounding areas for families. we had a wonderful day at the nearby lake and the children loved the tree climbing which is also nearby. The village has plenty to offer - including delicious bakery and other shops.
I look forward to having more holidays here - the owners are delightful and very helpful. We genuinely cannot wait to return,

We've been lucky enough to stay here several times and can highly recommend it. A beautiful setting, loads of space, ideal either for those who want to relax by the pool or those who want to be more active. There's good cycling, watersports available at a nearby lake, picturesque local villages with restaurants, shops and markets. And of course lots of delicious wine!

The most perfect family villa rental in SW France!
A late review for the most fantastic family holiday - the house worked superbly on every level. We had breakfasts on the deck overlooking the pool, fields and woods and the fitter members of the party biked down the lane for croissants and bread for the rather more slothful souls (beds just too comfy to leave....) Kids zigzagged between pool (superb pool...) table tennis and hunting for blackberries for the crumble.. We spent a fantastic morning tree-walking just a couple of km down the road in St Aulaye, and another day at Lac Jameye (great walk all the way around the huge swimming lake, brilliant bar/restaurant, and the canoeing was completely free!) Couple of great evenings at Aubeterre and the market was terrific.
We will be back!

Fantastic family holiday
We have stayed here many times and always have the most gorgeous family holiday. The house is really spacious and accommodates two families very comfortably. It is also clean and well equipped. The setting is idyllic with peaceful views over the forest and little or no traffic on the access lane to the house. There is plenty to occupy children of all ages both at the house (swimming pool, ping pong table, trampoline and a huge garden) and in the surrounding area. Our children's favourite activities include tree climbing and the water slides in nearby Saint Aulaye as well as the huge Friday morning market in Riberac. Highlights for the adults include the delicious creperie in Saint Aulaye and several good restaurants in the lovely village of Aubeterre. Further afield the coastal town of Lacanau provides world class surfing and my husband and eldest son always visit it at least once during our stay. Lacanau is 2 hours away so either a long day trip or an easy overnight trip.

Just love it
Such a great family space with enough private spots for a quiet reading corner, I have been so lucky to stay for the last five years in a wonderful rural setting but a short drive to beautiful french villages, a family lake and the essential supermarket and a wonderful creperie - a hit will all young people
An ideal holiday home

A great place for making happy memories....
This property offers versatile accommodation in tranquil surroundings. We stayed in the early summer and took full advantage of opportunities for adventure.
Whether you like the outdoors and want to keep the family active with kayaking, cycling, walking and explorations into the surrounds, or are simply looking for a location to write a book and escape the world, this location will not disappoint.
The Farmhouse is well appointed and is spacious inside with flexible accommodation. Outside there is a wealth of space to enjoy table tennis, cricket, the pool and relaxed lunches on the sundeck.
Within walking distance is a local bakery to practice your French. Nearby Riberac has a beautiful square with cafes, restaurants and a market.
If you are looking for authentic France and an opportunity to create memories – look no further.
