This is a great opportunity to enjoy your holidays with family and friends in a special location in Fornalutx, Mallorca. The house has terraces overlooking the village and the Tramuntana mountains and there is hardly a better place to relax and slow down from hectic everyday life. If you enjoy sports the area is ideal for walking, running or cycling. The large saltwater pool on the lower terrace is favorite for both adults and children. The pool (6,60m x 3,60m) can be heated at 28°on request and at an extra charge. Just 5 minutes drive to the lively town Soller with shops and restaurants and in 10 minutes you are in the nice beach of Puerto de Soller. The house is built of traditional materials and beautifully furnished, it has all modern amenities, air conditioning and heating, high-speed internet, TV and iPad docking station for music and entertainment. If you are arriving by car there is a private garage for your car and also space for 1 cars outside the house.

Overall Nice stay

The location is great! Neighbors were very nice, House was clean, patio and pool are perfect with a great view. The details seemed a bit misleading. It says 3000 for the summer but it’s actually 3250 including the extra 250 linen fee which is requested with cash upon arrival. After seeing the linens upon arrival -the price for it is definitely too high. I also don’t understand the point of paying cash upon arrival as I don’t get a receipt for a “linen service” that’s being paid for. For me though Lilja made an exception and did request the 250 over VRBO because I don’t pay cash on rentals I check in to as I don’t think it’s safe. It also seems unusual to pay aside from VRBO. Overall nice house for a larger family

Lovely house in amazing place

Our party of 8 with children ranging 9-19 were very comfortable and happy here. The short walk to all amenities was perfect and the house (complete with a/c was extremely comfortable.

Exactly As Described

This is a nice place run by good and efficient people. The property is a decent size and the four double bedrooms feel spacious and comfortable. I'm not sure I would want nine there but certainly with eight no-one would feel that they had pulled the short straw. The swimming pool is again a decent size - none of this oversized bath tub stuff. The kids loved it. The view from the multiple terraces over the mountains is superb. Perhaps not the cheapest of options, but it is a great place.

Stunning house with epic views

We loved our stay in Fornalutx. The house is immaculate -very comfortable and well equipped. A simply stunning location with everything close at hand in the village - we enjoyed eating at the various restaurants. The view from the house is stunning, and the pool was perfect to cool off in. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area which has something for everyone. The local trails are well marked and perfect for hiking and running. Overall a memorable week in an idyllic location. Thank you.

Beautiful villa in stunning location

We had a fantastic week in Fornalutx staying at this beautiful villa with amazing views over the Tramuntana mountains. The villa is very well equipped and maintained to a high standard and felt very spacious for our party of four adults and four children. The pool and outside terrace areas provide lots of options for relaxing in the sun or shade. Fornalutx is a very picturesque village and the central square is only a few minutes walk away with some good restaurant options. It makes a great base for exploring Soller and the surrounding region and is perfect if you fancy cycling Majorca's famous climbs including Puig Major and Sa Calobra. We were sorry to leave and hope to return one day!

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

What a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house boasts some of the most stunning views across the village of Fornalutx and mountains beyond. The house itself is very well equipped and clean. We had 9 in our party, 4 adults and 5 children between the ages of 7 and 15. The house is very spacious never felt overcrowded. The main bedroom has its own private terrace with sun loungers and overlooks the pool area and has superb views. The main terrace also overlooks the pool area so we were always able to keep an eye on the kids who practically lived in the pool! We could not ask for more. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful house.

Our stay in Fornalutx

Air conditioning did not work for the entire stay in two of the four bedrooms. Owner was unwilling to offer anything other than de minimis compensation for the inability to use those rooms (and to have children sleep in couches in the living room). Local house manager on location was unpleasant to interact with. House is in a good location close to main plaza. Nice pool. Rest of home was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful house in a beautiful village

We had a fantastic time in this gorgeous house. It is very spacious, modern and immaculate. We were thrilled to find the fridge stocked with fresh milk, juice, yogurts, etc. And we were even given wine and coffee. The road up to the house is very steep. So it wouldn’t be ideal for young children or anyone with mobility issues. The village itself is beautiful. There are some great cafes and restaurants. The walk to Sóller was easy and there is lots to see and do there. Thanks for having us!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this lovely comfortable home with mountain views. It was so easy to settle in and enjoy the comforts of this home not to mention the views. There is everything you would need to here.....the home is very well equipped. We would certainly book this lovely home again.

Stunning Views!

We enjoyed our stay in Fornalutx at this little hideaway. The home has some of the most incredible views we have ever seen. The pool was our favorite place to gather and enjoy our surroundings. The house had everything we needed and the house manager was attentive to fixing minor issues we had immediately. I would suggest adding an air conditioner to the first floor bedroom as the fan could not cool off the room adequately. The only negative would be how narrow the roads are and navigating to the home itself. There is little room for error. The walk into town is also very steep but easy to get to once you find the best route. Pizzeria Calzone was one of our favorites! We are glad we stayed here and saw this beautiful part of the island.

Very nice house, town and surroundings

We were seven friends staying at the house in the end of May 2018, coming down to bicycle. The house was very nice, the town of Fornalutx as well and the location gives a very good base for cycling. The owner of the house did always respond quickly to our questions, and is very nice and helpful. When we go back to Mallorca for more cycling, we certainly like to stay at this house again. We had a fantastic stay!

Beautiful villa in an amazing situation, close to the village.

The villa was as the photos show, lovely inside and in a beautiful situation with amazing views. Slightly difficult access by car If you are not a good driver but once there the little village square and restaurants are 2 minutes walk down from the villa. We had a few hiccups to begin with but all was sorted by Lilja straight away. For the extra cleaning cost on top it would have been nice to have had a cleaner in on a regular basis but overall we had a fabulous holiday. Thankyou you Lilja, Carolina and Tony.

Good balance between cost and level of luxury

Incredible views and relatively well maintained townhouse. Harrowing drive to get to the home by car. Town centre is close in distance to the house but a challenging walk if you are not fit or have small children.

Amazing house located in beautiful area

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house this easter. What an amazing place. This house is spacious and have eveything you need and can easily fit two familys. 3 lovely terraces. Two in the front of the house where you can enjoy the sun and the pool, and one in the back where the late afternoon sun can be watched. We just loved the mornings with our coffee out on the main terrace looking at the beautiful montain surrounding the village. The house is located just two min. walk from the centre of Fornalutx with restaurants, shops and bakery. There is just a ten min. drive to Port Soller with a stunning beach. This place is a great starting point for cycling or hiking tours. I would recomend a car when you are staying here. I would certainly recomed this place, and we will for sure come back.

The house was stunning,lots of space and lovely pool .... the views take your breath away .It had everything you could wish for ... would have liked a welcome pack ,a information pack and more towels ( just a few minor things that would have made it perfect )

Splendid house - great value!

We were five people spending one week in this beautiful house, located in a small, authentic mountain village, nestled high up the Tramuntana mountain range, overlooking the Sóller valley. Fornalutx is often referred to as the ‘Prettiest village in Spain’, the stone buildings and red tiled roofs combine with the scent of the surrounding orange and lemon groves to provide a traditional rustic charm. The place is fairly quiet, with great restaurants and just a 5-10 min drive to the beach. The house itself has all the facilities you need, and more. It is spacious and can easily fit two families. The view from the balcony is fantastic and we will remember the outside meals for a long time. Certainly planning to come back.

Beautiful place

A very nice house located in the village of Fornalutx. Perfect for families travelling with kids, the house is spacious, clean and with stylish interior. The centre of Fornalutx is just a 2 minute walk away, with restaurants, supermarkets and local shops/bakery etc. Nice and clean saline pool with beautiful scenery overlooking the Tramuntana mountains combined with nice outdoor areas / terraces with barbecue as well. Tennis, basketball and footballfield within walking distance. Would recommend to hire a car to explore the island and sites nearby. 5 out of 5 stars, we hope to come back!
