Trehawks benefits not only from its enviable location and proximity to some of Cornwall's premier destinations such as Polzeath (3 miles) premier surfing beach, Daymer Bay (2.5 miles) windsurfing and swimming, Rock Beach (2.5 miles) with ferry to historic fishing port of Padstow and gastronomic capital of Cornwall but also has access to all of the facilities offered by Parkdean St Minver Holiday Park these include; Heated indoor swimming pool with toddlers pool & sauna (open from Easter to early November), soft play area, kid's clubs, restaurant with takeaway facility, club house with bar, entertainment, sky sports, pool table, amusements (Please note that the swimming pool and clubhouse are open from Easter through to the beginning of November). There are also picnic & barbecue areas, woodland walks and for your convenience; a mini-market, laundrette and cash machine. (nominal charges may apply for the use of some of these facilities) No Trehawks has a Southerly aspect affording all day sunshine on its ample decking area for those that just want to chill out and absorb the rays!

Wonderful relaxing stay

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay. From the moment we walked in, we could not fault one single thing, it was perfect for us and our two young children. We brought towels and sheets etc from home but we didn’t need to bring anything. The property had everything we needed, with two bathrooms, a washer/dryer which was perfect with two young children. The facilities on site were great, we particularly loved the onsite swimming pool which we had booked and used every morning. The little local pub ’The Fourways Inn’ was perfect for an evening drink. We didn’t want to leave, and we would love to come back! Thank you for making this a wonderful holiday after a long 18 months!!!

Loved the lodge

Loved the lodge and immediate road, but the rest of the complex wasn’t as good. This area of Cornwall was amazing.

Cabin is situated in very good location on the site, all facilities were in very good condition and the house keeper had done all that was required for Covid. Some features were a little tired, seating was too low for us so spent most of the time sitting on patio chairs. First day one of the steps broke as I was descending causing slight injury to my leg so we had to use the rear entrance., an effective repair was made 2 days later but further inspection showed that other issues were likely to happen with the decking around the cabin. We had excellent weather which made up for these issues.

Peaceful retreat

Lovely lodge in a beautiful, rural location. A short drive away were beaches and restaurants. The Parkdean site was average, with clubhouse facilities and swimming pool. A beautiful part of Cornwall which we loved discovering.

2020 lovely break

Really enjoyed the break here. I’m an ex local and it was a perfect spot to feel on holiday but visit friends.. it’s a lovely sunny, quiet field. Kids loved biking around. It felt private but everyone was friendly. Perfectly equip and very comfy.

July summer break

We had a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful peaceful spot. The lodge was exactly as it appeared on the site - if not bigger, and we were impressed how comfortable and clean it was. Richard was very helpful and prompt answering my questions before the stay. The lodges were spaced out enough for privacy and in a very tranquil green setting. We enjoyed sitting out on the outside sunny veranda. Would definately stay there again.

Excellent location for sightseeing

Very well equipped, spacious and very clean. Lots of storage for clothes and other items. Brilliant location needing only short trips to get to the places we wanted to see. Cannot comment on the bar as we only went in for breakfast on our last day (pancakes with bacon and maple syrup saw us through until we got home to Kent).

Trehawks Lodge

Stayed here 23/9 to 28/9 great location for Rock, Padstow Polzeath & Port Isaac. We had few days of rain but we always seemed to miss it. Loved Rock must be even more stunning on a lovely day. Didn't use any facilities on the site, the lodge was enough for us. The lodge has everything you could ask for

Short break by the seaside

Extremely clean property and perfect location for us. The location on the park is quiet. Ideal for making the most of the last of the summer sun. We took our 2 yr old and it was perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay!

10 Trehawks - St Minver

We had a really relaxing stay. The lodge is perfect for 4 people. Its a quiet and pretty location and I can't quite believe how close it is to locations such as Rock and Padstow. There is everything you need in the lodge and it was very handy having a washing machine too, especially with 2 children. The parking was great and so were the neighbours. The lodge is in great shape and I would definitely rent it again.

What an amazing week!!

The Lodge was absolutely beautiful! Fresh, clean, spacious and in a lovely location. The Cornish weather was very kind to us making sitting out for evening drinks on the terrace very enjoyable. The lodge was well equipment with crockery and other cooking essentials. Master bedroom and living area lovely and spacious it was absolutely perfect for us as a couple with a toddler. We thoroughly enjoyed the Rock to Padstow ferry trip for days out and polzeath beach was just a dream with the glorious bank holiday weather. Thank you Richard we will definitely be back! X

Great lodge lovely location

Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, the weather was fantastic - sunbathing on the wonderful Trevone beach at the end of September - who would have thought that would be possible! I think a guest book would be useful so that guests can pass the good, the bad and the ugly on to future guests. For example the excellent Malcolm Barnecutt bakeries and Ben's Crib Box Cafe in Padstow.

I am 62 years and a retired Senior University Lecturer. I have spent holidays in the Polzeath / Rock area since the age of 2! and learned to swim at Daymer Bay as a 3 year old. This is a very special place and one can never tire of its timeless charm.

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property for its modern design, perfect location and accessibility to the very best that beautiful Cornwall has to offer.

What makes this property unique

I love anything to do with the outdoors and the sea therefore this is my idea of heaven on earth. Long coastal walks, surfing at Polzeath, wreck diving, fishing, golf at the championship course at St Endoch, gastronomic food at Steins / Ainsworth's No6 and Nathan Outlaw's to name but a handful of the delights that this area has to offer.

The adjacent St Minver Holiday Park offers additional utility such as a heated indoor swimming pool and sauna, restaurant and lounge bar with entertainment, Sky sports, kid's clubs and numerous other activities.
