Wonderful location
We loved the walk into Salisbury town from the cottage. Past an historic pub, and across the picturesque water meadows, with views of the cathedral., made campy your Constable. A quiet neighbourhood with a good bus route a few doors away.

Lovely little cottage
On the outskirts of Salisbury in Harnham this little cottage has is just across the water meadows from the cathedral. We stayed during a period when the water meadows were flooded and then everything froze. The cottage had everything we needed (nearly) but we improvised. the beds were very comfy, and the array of books was fascinating.

Break away with friends
Meadow cottage is ideally located for Salisbury, the walk into town is lovely, we didn’t use the car. The cottage had a few issues though, the shower head wouldn’t stay up, we put some tape round it, and phoned the owner about it, they did know, and said a new shower would have to be put in. One thing that needs doing now though is new pillows, I stripped the beds before we left, the pillows were yellow and covered in stains, the owner said they are on the to do list, they should be changed as soon as possible! The beds were very comfortable, and great tv choice, with Netflix and Amazon.

Great Location
Great Location for Salisbury with lovely walk into town. Having to clean loos before they could be used however was not the start we would have hoped for. General cleanliness below standard, especially the oven.

Convienient location in well equipped cottage
This Harnham cottage was an ideal location being so close to the Town Path for a pleasant walk into Salisbury. Other local walks were also easy to access. There was ample room for a small family and we enjoyed entertaining extended family members for lunch. The cottage was well equipped and the breakfast supplies for the first couple of days were gratefully accepted.

Cosy and comfortable
We found the cottage cosy and comfortable. Convenient for us visiting family in Salisbury. Lovely walk into Salisbury town centre along the Town Path. My husband took the Cathedral Tower Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! Old Sarum is worth a visit, if you choose a clear day, great views. Good markets, shops and cafes, a lot of them dog friendly. We hope to return.

Gorgeous house!
We had a super time at this beautiful property. Very well equipped, comfy beds and numerous extra touches that set it a cut above the rest. Location too is supreme, a short walk (past a corker of a pub The Old Mill) into the town centre. We were very sad to leave!

Very cosy and well equipped cottage!
We are a family with 2 adult sons. Having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfekt for us. The cottage has low ceilings which makes is cosy and it comfortable and well equipped. In the front yard we had our drinks. On our arrival we found everything for a perfekt Sunday breakfast so we didn’t have to rush out for shopping. Salisbury cathedral is a nice easy 25 minute stroll trough the meadows. Salisbury is an ideal spot to combine sightseeing in Bath, Portsmouth, Stonehenge. And we liked the golf courses in Rushmore and Hamptworth. The communication with the owner / Manager via E-Mail was friendly and very quick. Especially when we asked about the pictures in the FeWo Direkt because there was a mix with Stonehenge cottages.

Nice property in quiet area easy walk into Salisbury
Well equipped property located in a very quiet residential area. It is an easy 20 minute walk into Salisbury much of the path giving a magnificent view of the cathedral. The property easily accommodated 3 adults, was well equipped with everything working. There was also a welcome pack. We used the property as a base for walking in the area and it is well located to access most of the surrounding famous sights.

Beautiful cottage with homely extras
We had a lovely stay with 5 adults and 4 children. The proprietors were very helpful in getting us any extras in a timely fashion. We visited Stone Henge and Old Sarum which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Salisbury Cathedral was also nearby. We found some lovely eateries in around a 10 minute drive from the cottage. A lovely well equipped cottage.

Fantastic cottage!
If you're going to travel in and around Salisbury, this is a great location to make your home base. Close enough to the city centre and train station to walk to, yet quiet for sleeping. Well appointed with all of the comforts of home. Super clean and well maintained. Location is great as it is less than 45 minute drive to Bath, Winchester, Stonehenge, Portsmouth, and Bristol. Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a bit more space and convenience during a vacation in the Southwest of England.

excellent accommodation, clean, well presented and very comfortable. well equipped
Location of the cottage is excellent, a lovely walk along the town path into Salisbury. Whilst staying at the cottage, we visited Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Caen Locks at Devizes and the outlet at Wilton. The cottage itself had everything you could think off....and more! We would not hesitate in returning. Thanks for a lovely, welcoming stay to Meadow Cottage.

Hi my name is Stephen Conway, and my wife is Hazel Morgan who is a world-class portrait artist.

We have created Stonehenge Cottages and Meadow Cottages to give people the ultimate boutique getaway.

Why they chose this property

If you are looking for a chic, rustic style cottage situated within walking distance to Salisbury centre and opposite a lovely park and close to a great pub set on the river then look no further! Created to the same AA 5-star standard we have used in our sister properties, Stonehenge Cottages, this property is based on a quiet close suitable for young children.

What makes this property unique

If you are a young family or group of friends looking for the ultimate getaway, then you will not find many cottages that are as fully featured as this one. From technology, to the pretty setting and lovely pubs nearby, whilst being able to walk to the Cathedral across Constable's Water Meadows where he painted some of his most famous portraits
