A very enjoyable stay, very remote, the cottage is lovely, i think the host could really leave some cleaning cloths so you could wipe the bathroom after use, i wouldn't put a child into the shower due to it being red hot or freezing cold, a over all very nice stay 😀
This was a great cosy cottage. Had everything you could need. Remote location, but short drive from shops and beach. Wifi wasn’t good, had to search for connection spots within the cottage which impacted a work video call. We all had a lovely comfortable stay and was big enough for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We took an inflatable mattress for the 3rd child to sleep on as the sofa wasn’t long enough. Saw lots of lovely wildlife including a kite and red squirrels. A good spot to explore the island and Northern Wales. We would recommend Lligwy and Newborough beach for dogs and amenities. Overall a lovely holiday and great break away. Thank you Rosie
Great location, had everything we needed. Staying was myself, my two sons, my mum and her chihuahua. We all had a great stay. Only thing that let us down was the water heating, had to boil the kettle to wash up, wasn’t ideal with a baby, and the heating system wasn’t great. We had to wash the cutlery and mugs as the previous guests left them quite dirty, but this didn’t affect our stay at all. Would definitely come back.
The cottage was fabulous real home from home with everything you could need. Great position only a short drive to beaches and costal walk .
Thank you will definitely be back
A lovely home from home cottage with everything you need plus a very friendly neighbour. Very quite and very dark at night!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Anglesey using 'The Old Shop' as our base. We were extremely lucky to have superb weather which always helps! Recommend the artisan farm shop, one mile down the road and the pilot boat inn for a quick refreshing drink on the way home after a day 'exploring'. Loved Molfre and Red Wharf Bay. The Ship Inn a must! Great Food.
This is a really nice cottage with a cracking beach just ten minutes drive away.

Great cottage
Great cottage in a great location for visiting the island. Very peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful and clean inside, with everything you needed. Dog friendly also. Would have been better if there was a local pub in walking distance, but everything was in a 5 minutes drive away.

Lovely cottage,furnished nice.
Unfortunately the housekeeper let Rosie down badly. The floors were covered in dog hairs .The bathroom floor was filthy. There was a very strong smell of dog wee.Dogs had weed up against the curtains in the living room and kitchen. Brown stains running across the bottom of curtains, big brown stain on wall in living room. We did get £100 refund,i had to hoover &clean all floors.I did take photos &sent them to Rosie.Unfortunately she didn't reply when i asked if the house keeper could take curtains down &wash them.

The cottage very clean comfortable.
Our stay would have been much improved if we were able to sit outside. At the time of our stay the council decided to dig up the road right outside the cottage. Although we were told a day or two before by Rosie it was too late to cancel or re-arrange our stay due to work commitments. There is a small seating area at the back of the property but this proved to be too small to accommodate our needs. We would consider staying again but I think more notice would be nice of any unfortunate occurrences. We were not able to take advantage of the local farm shop either, as the owners decided to have a weeks holiday the week we stayed in the cottage. Overall we were a little disappointed due to circumstances.

Tranquility Personified
A lovely cottage, handy to several dog friendly beaches (the recommendations in the welcome folder were spot on), and really friendly owner. The cottage is remarkably spacious, has all the necessary amenities, and quite a lot in addition (DVD player, video library and books to name a few). Our collie loved the nearby beaches, and the bacon baps at the recommended beach are terrific, and there are plenty of places to walk. Handy for Bangor and Snowdonia too.

The perfect little chocolate box!!!!!
Had everything we needed in the cottage. Everything was perfect for my 11 year old daughter, my two dogs and me!! The cottage is located in a quiet country lane (except for the odd tractors) but a great based to get all around Anglesey. The weither was very kind even in January. Wish we could have stayed a little bit longer!!! Thanks Rosie your a star.

Delightful little cottage, quiet, peaceful, relaxing
Siop Tyn Y Pwll is a lovely cottage, which the owner obviously takes great pride in, shown by the upkeep of the property and cleanliness inside. There is everything you could possibly require inside the property and very well equipped. Rosie was very helpful with all the emails I sent prior to going and quick to respond. We went on holiday in November and the house was extremely warm and comfortable, a big bonus was no endless fireworks going off on November the 5th. Anglesey itself is a lovely island to explore, not sure I would want to be on some of those little roads in summer when its busy, but we would definitely go back again late on in a year. Thank you Rosie for sharing your lovely cottage with us it was far more than we expected, Mum and Dad enjoyed a few days also. Kyla & Paul Colley

A lovely well equipped Cottage
We loved our stay here , we were lucky with the weather managing to get out each day, the Cottage is like a home from home VERY well equipped , a couple of minor points , poor reception at times on the TV ( a signal booster on the Aerial will sort that ) and the Front & rear Door require adjusting they are quite difficult to lock , the Cottage is literally off the beaten track , so transport is a must , though we did see the Bus occasionally in the Hamlet , a great relaxing holiday was had by all .

Lovely dog friendly cottage
We had a lovely time here, and the cottage was very clean, with a garden that was secure for my two dogs (they don't jump over fences or walls). Two dog friendly beaches a short car drive away, both with toilets and cafe.

Quaint cottage in a quiet location
This was our first stay here and we've had a lovely time. The cottage was pristine when we arrived, and the information folder and local maps have been very helpful. We will definitely be returning, and next time will bring our dog too.

Comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of Anglesey
We had a lovely time exploring North East Anglesey with beaches, villages, coastline and countryside to visit. The cottage was clean, well decked out, and big enough for us with two young children (3mths and 2yrs). There is a wonderful farm shop down the road, with lots of places to visit within 15 minutes drive. There is not much to do surrounding the cottage itself so you need a car.

About the host
Hosted by Rosie Bloor
My name is Rosie & I am married to Phil & have a son called Will & a lively dog called Rusty.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Anglesey, many years ago. In the summer, the beautiful beaches remind us of times spent in Portugal, but unlike Portugal, there are very few places where you can sit on a beautiful, quiet sandy beach and see the farmers harvesting their crops on the coastline. Rusty adores the sea. If the weather is not so good, there is plenty to do with all the beautiful villages and the coastal footpath that joins them together. Because of this love of the Island we purchased this quaint old cottage in the quiet hamlet of Parc. We would love others to share our passion for the Island and our cottage.
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is only a short drive to Lligwy beach. It's location is ideal with villages close by, such as Moelfre, Benllech & Amlwch. We have free wifi and you can take advantage of our 2 mountain bikes for exploring the beauty Anglesey has to offer.
