We had a great stay here. The cottage was clean and the location was perfect! A few minor issues; the dishwasher was not fastened in place and tipped forward as you loaded the dishes and the shower valve was a little funky when turning it on and off. Otherwise we had a nice stay!
Property was very clean. We had a cold spell and the heating system was very adequate. Kitchen well equipped but we left some extra items. Overall extremely positive experience, however VRBO fee excessive.
Everything worked well. There was 4 bedrooms instead of 3, which was a pleasant surprise. Location was close to the sea, but no direct view of the see. House is a bit old, but well maintained. Quick answer from owner whenrequired. We enjoyed our stay.Quick
Everything was very nice and easy to get to. Only need Ed is more silverware, plates and glasses. Would recommend to others.

Cottage in quaint residential area next to college
The cottage was very clean, it was nice taking advantage of neighborhood beach, enjoyable walks and Fortunes Rock beach very close with great waves for boogie boarding , Biddeford and next town Saco had interesting shops a couple of good resturants, some appliances needed updates fans, air conditioners, vacuum, a 25-30 min plus car ride to most attractions, had grilling utensils but lack other kitchen needs beyond coffee cups and plates, could use some updates to both decor and household furnishing, including kitchenware silverware etc.
We had a wonderful time here and were located to other family members and friends alsovavationing on Hills Beach. This cottage had most everything we needed. Plenty of room for our needs. Grateful for the air conditioning and bedroom ceiling fans. Hoping to return next summer!😎
Beachcomber was the perfect home away from home for the week. Walked into a nice cool and clean house. We had the only house with ac's out of the four my family members rented on the street! The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything you would need for the week, even had utensils for the grill. Lots of room to hang out and play games while it rained for a day and short walk to the jety. Very happy with our time in this property and Chris was very easy to get ahold of if we had any questions or concerns. Looking forward to next summer! Thank you again!
We’ve been coming to HB for nearly 20 years, and this was our first stay here. The house was perfect for our family of 4, each son with his own room, and the extra futon for our nephew who joined for the weekend. A/C helped on the warm nights, grill works perfectly, and Chris was both pleasant and timely communicator. And outside laundry line would be ideal, but no complaints at all! Looking forward to coming back next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Hills Beach. The beach is perfect, quiet, no large public access.( parking l
The cottage was what I expected. There was plenty of room for 4 adults, and 2 children. It was clean, which to me is the most important. Well stocked kitchen cookware. Coffeemaker, AND Kuerig. Gas grill outside. Beach chairs. Easy, less than 5 min. walk to the beach. Had a few questions, owner responded immediately, ( thanks Chris ) Will definitely be back to this area.

A cute house close to the mouth of the Saco river and the ocean.
5 of us stayed here for a week. One a 2 year old. It would have been a little tight with 5 adults. The house is clean and cute, a little smaller than I expected from the photos. But we didn't spend tons of time here. It is a short walk down to the ocean which we took advantage of several times. Our son lives in Biddeford so it was very close to him and an easy ride to shopping. We love this area and it is always a joy to visit! The cleaning crew had popped a couple of breakers and Chris came and took care of it right away for us. Very nice to work with. There is also parking for several cars. We would stay here again.

Amazing, spacious and clean cottage!!!
My family and I stayed at this lovely cottage for the week of the Fourth of July, and we will definitely be back! The three bedrooms are big with ample storage. My 20 year old daughter slept in the fourth bedroom on the futon and it was comfy. The kitchen is huge which made it fun to cook and play cards. And our favorite part was the sun porch off the front. Also, it was great having a washer and dryer in the home for our use. Everyday we grabbed our beach stuff and walked the one block down to the ocean.
