We had the perfect stay at Jasmine Cottage very peacefulThe dogs loved the grass to play on. The Deer are still in the garden in the early mornings even with the Gates closed. Which was nice to see, But! there are not many shrubs left in the garden that have not been eaten. The walk down Beach Road to the sea takes about 5 minutes with the dogs, and 15 minutes to get back when the dogs are worn out.If you have dogs I thoroughly recommend Jasmine Cottage.
We absolutely loved our stay at Brick and Flint cottage. The cottage was lovely and spacious and the garden was huge. So much to do nearby and amazing walks from the doorstep. We would highly recommend staying here.
Jasmine cottage has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay away from home.
I went with my daughters, and a small dog, to explore the area and do plenty of walking. November is a great time to go. The beaches are mostly empty. Bird life is amazing. There are lots of trails as well as the Norfolk coastal path.
I am vegan and one daughter is veggie. There is a great cafe on the beach in Old Hunstanton that has great choices. RSPB sites close by. The beaches are wonderful to walk on.
The cottage is warm and the beds comfortable. The shower was a bit weak, but adequate.
Bill and Vicky have equipped the cottage with everything you need.
We had a really lovely stay.
We loved the cosiness of the cottage, and the fantastic garden which our Springer Spaniel raced around in. The location to the beach and local pub was brilliant. We will definitely be back.
Easy to find, lovely garden, fab location. Lounge very gloomy and sofa dominates the room.and is not very comfortable. Other rooms ok. Need chairs in bedrooms.
Our 3rd stay at Jasmine Cottage and 6th visit to Norfolk. Would have been more but for Covid restrictions.
My friend and I (and a dog each) love the cottage and area. For us it’s perfect, long walks on the beach then short walk to the pub.
The cottage is homely, dog friendly and has everything you need
Which is why we keep coming back!
Lovely cottage with well equipped kitchen (no coffee machine). Has 3 comfy beds and upstairs bathroom. Large garden for us and our two Miniature Dachshunds. Only 4 miles from Hunstanton and 15 from Kings Lynn.

Cottage was absolutely lovely and a great location for a stay at the beach! Fantastic secure garden for our dogs to enjoy. Inside the cottage had everything you could ever need for a home away from home! Had no issues with the shower room at all, great use of space. Stars at night were incredible and the beach goes on forever. Loved it here.

The cottage and garden were perfect for us, loved our surroundings, peaceful walks with the dogs ( tho they became a little noisy with other dog walkers). The biggest dissapointment was distance to the beach and trekking over the sand dunes. Not a problem if we were all 10yrs younger, but overall beautiful.
A great village to stay, and super close to a glorious beach and a better than average, but expensive pub!
The accommodation was clean and comfortable, but, given the price we paid, I would have expected the kitchen to have salt & pepper mills, cling film, and some coffee. The oven is exceptionally noisy once you have switched it off and some of the dishes in the drawn under the oven were absolutely filthy.
The downstairs shower room stank, no matter what we tried, and the pressure from the shower was not that good. Upstairs, the water pressure in the main bathroom was useless. The garden was nice and the BBQ was an added bonus.
There was no welcome letter / pack just some hand written notes blu-tacked to the wall. Again, given what I paid, it just seemed a little lacking in customer care.
We enjoyed our stay.
The house was very well set out has a lovely closed in garden in a quiet location well suited as a base to visit the local area . A nice walk to the lovely dog walking beach which takes about 10 mins . overall a very nice place to stay

Great location
The only disappointment were bathrooms ,and no welcome pack ,but on the whole lovely cottage and garden aloso lovely walks were great, but would stay again
Quiet location, 6 minutes walk to the beach. Ideal for walking along the coast. We parked the car and enjoyed the cottage facilities, lovely enclosed garden. The weather was good we went walking every morning, and chilled out in the garden. Enjoyed sitting in the conservatory in the cooler evening. Peaceful location, only noise was from a few passing cars and the sound of horses hooves along the road.
Pub nearby, but no shops. We had a Tesco food delivery. Used the BBQ and mostly enjoyed the garden sitting reading and relaxing.
Loved the house, lots of DVDs, books and games to choose from it was well stocked.
Lovely place to chill and relax.
Great overall property
Nice long garden for the dog as well as a walk towards and through the golf course to the beach
Idea location to visit hunstanton
Had a lovely time in the cottage it was well equipped and felt like home from home.
The extra room for washing/drying etc was brilliant and didn't have a problem with the walk in shower although small it was functional.
my only critic but on a personal level was the beds seemed very soft.
When we arrived we were not aware that the local pub was closed for refurbishment which was a shame as we wished to walk around the village rather than having to drive at night. If this could have been relayed by the owners before we arrived it would have helped.
The facilities were wonderful, a lovely place to stay and would consider staying here again.
Great location not exactly equidistant between the pub and beach but its very close . Cottage has everything and ideal and practical if you have a dog, plus a nice big garden for the dog to roam.
Love this cottage warm and welcoming, perfect for our dog holiday. Miles of beaches & pubs in Hunstanton (cafe shut for refurbishment) to enjoy. Will be back again no doubt!
Perfect location, close to the beach, pubs & shops
This is our 2nd time at this property. Beautiful cottage in a perfect location, close to the beach, pubs & shops.
Well equipped with everything you coild possibly need. The addition of the new wet room has certainly added to this cottage, however it wasn't key to our return. We will be booking again.

Why they chose this property
We had been looking for a dog friendly place near a sandy beach for many years where we could let our dogs off the lead. We first looked to the South West and then the Norfolk Broads, working our way up and back across the Norfolk coastline until we came to Holme with its fantastic dog friendly beach. It is quieter than Hunstanton and the golf course to the south means our dogs can be let off the lead without worrying about roads. When we found Jasmine Cottage after many years of searching, we knew this was the place for us.
What makes this property unique
Dog friendly sandy beach 6 minutes walk away, huge at low tide. Hunstanton about 30 minutes walk along the beach or footpath. Short walk to The White Horse pub, featured in The Good Pub Guide. A short drive to several other good food pubs and Eric's, excellent fish and chips (takeaway or eat in) 2 miles away. Also great for bird watching. Shallow sea, great for paddling.
