Location is absolutely perfect! Everything is the very beautiful inside, outside, very comfortable place, Communication with no problem, Paul is the best person to have business with no doubts. Thank you, Paul!
There was nothing not to like about this place. Perfect location just a short walk to Frenchmen St. And even quicker to get to Bourbon. We had a rental car and barely used it. We have a farm house in upstate NY and often I find it hard to sleep in cities, but the cityage is cozy and quiet. Also, upon arroval the place was perfectly clean AND I had more than enough for my stay. Waters, OJ, Wine, and an abundance of toiletries like tooth brushes soap, shampoo etc. I LOVED our stay and will definitely love to rent again.
Paul's cottage is charming, clean and well stocked with everyday amenities that you may have forgotten. We were able to walk or Uber for about 13 dollars to everyplace we wanted to go. Diz's Cafe, a couple of blocks away, was fantastic for an at-home meal too.We would definitely seek to stay there again.
First trip to New Orleans and I picked a winner. Paul’s place was spacious, unbelievably and thoughtfully well-stocked, and in a quiet neighborhood. It is three short blocks away from the FQ and we enjoyed greeting and speaking with neighbors we passed. He went above and beyond with muffins and juice which we enjoyed, and wine was shared in the lovely private patio/courtyard area that felt like our own private slice of paradise. We were lucky enough to meet Paul and his sweet dog. Highly recommend!
The place was so cozy, and it was exactly what was advertised. This was a father-and-daughter trip, and they were very pleased with the location and accommodations. They were greeted with two bottles of complimentary wine, which we thought was thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Walking distance to the French quarters, they had a blast!
The property was exactly as listed. Paul was easy to communicate with. I was absolutely delighted to find muffins on the table when we got in at 1am starving on the first night! It was a great stay!
We enjoyed our stay during Mardi Gras. It was in the heart of the city and experienced the real New Orleans neighborhood instead of all the tourist traps. The owner is a wonderful host and made us feel welcome. I give it all five stars!I
Paul was an amazing host he literally thought of everything! From a sewing kit to contact solution. Amazing gem far way from the chaos of Bourbon Street but close enough not to miss a beat. Thank you Paul
The cottage was beautiful and very clean. It had was fully stocked with many thoughtful extras such as muffins and wine. Paul was easy to communicate with and was a great host! Would definitely return.
So it was awesome Paul had everything that was needed to start your day coffee, tea. So very nice been to places you stop at the grocery store just so you can have a cup to start your day. Location not as close as I would like to French quarter but is within walking distance. You do a lot of walking so bring good shoes. Check in easy and check out easy also
Great stay, complimentary snacks. Had complimentary toothbrushes and stuff of that nature in the restroom in case you forgot yours. The only recommendation I would make, is that a hidden key lock box would make things simpler for both guest and host in case you have to change your arrival or departure time or day. I would stay here again, it was a good price for being so close to the French Quarter.
This cottage is fantastic! Exceptionally well-managed and offering incredible value, it's packed with amenities for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located near the French Quarter (easily accessible by short Uber rides or even a walk), it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!
We've stayed here before, and it's always so clean and so easy to walk to the quarter from here. The neighborhood is quiet and good. Comfy bed, hot shower, delicious free muffins, and nice extras like shampoo and soap etc. Beautiful place too!
My husband and I were married in NOLA ten years ago on 12-13-14 and we had not been back since and felt it was time! We enjoyed a couples cooking class, the tourist ghost tour and a lovely VRBO just a few blocks from Jackson Square! Paul was an exceptional host and offered some amazing amenities! I would definitely recommend his beautiful place for anyone coming to visit The Big Easy who wants relaxation and adventure all within a short walk or quick Uber ride! No car needed!
Très bel endroit avec toutes les commodités nécessaires durant notre séjour et plusieurs gâteries de notre hôte (muffins, vin, chocolat, lait, jus). Avec un petit jardin extérieur pour s'asseoir et relaxer.
Nice to be close to the action of the French Quarter but not right in it. The cottage was so generously stocked with everything you might need and more, including coffee, cream, muffins and wine! I’ve never experienced that at any other VRBO.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the cottage. Never stayed anywhere that had more or better amenities: soap, shampoos, towels, mouthwash, toothbrushes, drinks and muffins, etc. Good location.
Amazing place to experience NOLA & The French Quarter
An amazing place if you want to experience NOLA and the French Quarter. It's close enough to all the French Quarter has to offer but far enough where you can get some sleep. The host was great and we will be staying here on our next visit to NOLA.
The property was better than described. The owner has provided everything we could possibly require. Location is excellent, we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go or easily hop on the streetcar. We would definitely recommend this property!!
