First time in OBX- Will be back

I can't say enough great things about this charming rental. As others have said, the pictures don't do it justice. It's bright and beachy and the hammocks, porch swings and decorative porch lighting really added a special touch to our evenings. The walk to the beach was an easy one and there were plenty of great restaurants near by. Anne was fantastic and super responsive. We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful experience

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Walking into the house it was clean and welcoming. As other reviewers have stated, the pictures do not do justice. The cozy beach decor is everything you would want in a beach rental. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. Anne was readily available to help with anything which made it all the more welcoming. We would recommend this house to anyone looking to vacation in OBX and we hope to return there for future trips.

Awesome Cottage!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful cottage July 21-28, 2019. This is a turnkey rental for sure. EVERYTHING you could possibly think of has been provided except your clothing and groceries! The cottage is clean and welcoming and the decor beautiful. The only issue we had was difficulty locking and unlocking the main door. Loved our week at OBX and hope to return next year!

OBX Getaway

Pictures of the property do not do it justice. Well maintained and beautifully decorated beach home. Spacious rooms and includes everything you and your family could possibly need on your vacation. Staying here means you can just show up and vacation! All you need is to buy food. Communication from owners is outstanding. Quiet and safe street great for kids with awesome location (two close and easy beach entrances at end of street). Ideal spacious porch to relax after the beach. Great outdoor shower that is super convenient when coming home from the beach. This was our first visit to the OBX and we will be coming back! Added bonus being able to have our doggy with us to complete the family. Left only a few hours ago and our four year old already wants to go back! Thank you Anne and John for everything! Front door issues

My family and I have stayed twice at this cottage. It is one of our favorites. The front door is a little difficult to lock and unlock. Other than that, we felt right at home. Loved the decor and that dining room/kitchen table!

Beautiful Cottage

Such a cute cottage with everything you need for a beach getaway. From the fully stocked kitchen to hammocks/ swings, cornhole, basketball hoop, Wii, and other games- there was plenty for us to do and get the wiggles out when the weather was not always cooperative. The location was great too- short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, stores, mini- golf and other attractions. We would definitely stay here again, especially since it’s pet friendly!

Clean Comfortable Charming

My wife and I met with my daughter, husband and 7 year old granddaughter for Thanksgiving weekend. This beach house was perfect. It was close to everything while being close to the beach. Basnights restaurant was an excellent choice for Thanksgiving Day. The house was very well maintained and spacious.

Home away from home!!!!

This is a wonderful beach cottage!!! Simply loved the décor. It has everything in the world you need (except Wi-Fi and maybe you don't need it on vacation! ) and is so cozy and comfortable. Beach access is a short walk (5 houses away) and across the street. This home is pet friendly and is a great area for walking your pet. Was sorry it was too chilly for the outside shower. Was my first trip to the Outer Banks and this location was very convenient and central to everywhere I wanted to go. If you like a cozy cottage, this is definitely it!

Nicely decorated and well maintained property.

Our entire family had a wonderful time. Close to the beach, quiet street, and perfect for a family with small kids. I enjoyed the fact that everything was included, even sheets which is rare. The owners were very quick to respond when there was an issue.

Easy walk and access to the beach. They have all the good beach stuff too...Chairs umbrella, boogie board,etc. Perfect,going back there again for sure. Thankyou to the Seward's again.

This is a beautifully decorated and maintained example of a Outer Banks Beach cottage.

My family enjoyed a beautiful week at this cottage. The cottage is well maintained and beautifully decorated. Great beach access within a short walking distance and they completed the beach replenishment along this section of beach the week we were there so there was plenty of beach to enjoy. We are ready to book for next year!

Beautifully decorated beach house!!!

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. The house was very clean and well maintained. Amenities were provided and were in abundance. The owner was easy to get a hold of and willing to speak with you with any questions or concerns you might have. Definitely recommend this property and cant wait for next year

Nicely decorated and well equipped

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Seward's house. The beds were very comfortable, and linens were nice. The house has everything you could possibly need. We have rented many homes in the Outer Banks over the years. Most smaller homes do not offer all the extra's that this home has. It is very clean and well organized. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions that I had. Would definitely stay here again! Favorite restaurants-Awful Arthurs, Blue Moon and Hurricane Moe's.

Beautiful, Relaxing, PERFECT in every way!

We have so very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach cottage! Plenty of space for our family! Love, love, love the front porch swing, hammock, & all the outside details. The inside is so beautiful, peaceful, & relaxing. Makes you want to never leave! Super close access to the beach, nearby awesome restaurants, grocery store, shopping & much more. You will not be disappointed!!!

Our family has vacationed on this street with our kids for over 15 years and were fortunate to buy this property for our future enjoyment and yours. We take special care to provide all the necessities and amenities we enjoy leaving you the basics in beach essentials, kitchen spices, coffee filters, trash bags, etc to lessen your traveling load. Linens are available for each bed and a washer/dryer for clean up. The outside shower is FABULOUS and has surfboard decor! We enjoy the bikes for visiting the local fishing pier and nearby restaurants or just a nice ride with the kids down the street. Naps in the hammock or a beer on the porch swing after a beach day are nice too! We have a wide selection of DVD's and basic cable channels as well.

This is a clean, "thought of everything" cottage in the perfect spot for enjoying the beach with family in a safe, friendly, and convenient spot just steps from the ocean and great food and entertainment! Local favorites include Awful Arthurs Oyster Bar, Black Pelican Restaurant, Hurricane Moes, and so many others!

What makes this property unique

The street is neighbor friendly with annual neighborhood block parties, safe for kid play in the life guarded ocean, on the bikes or shooting basketball hoops in the front drive! Morning coffee on the porch with a limited ocean view to tell you if the waves are rough or calm each day. Your toiletries and clothes are all you will need to start your vacation. We leave you basics in the kitchen so you don't have to stock with infrequently used items.
