Villa Pindarakis - level walk to beach and tavernas, two pools, mountain views
This spacious three bedroomed villa with many terraces and balconies is located within 10 minutes level walk of the sandy beach, tavernas and little supermarkets of Almyrida. The upstairs front bedroom leads out onto a wrap around balcony with panoramic views of the “White Mountains”.
There is easy access to two immaculately kept shared pools set in attractively planted communal areas and the villa faces out over a lovely olive grove.
Plenty of private outdoor dining and relaxing space with two terraces and two balconies. Inside, fully air-conditioned and elegantly furnished with free wireless internet in all rooms. The villa is also well-equipped with cooking, dining and clothes washing facilities.
Off-road parking for a single car plus plenty of space for more on the no through road outside the villa. English speaking owners, always happy to answer queries and provide local information.
Linen, house towels, electricity and cleaning are included.

Almyrida is located on the north-western coast of Crete and is about 30 kilometres from Chania airport. Car hire and airport transfers are available from the airport. Alternatively, there is a regular airport bus service into Chania and from there out to Almyrida.
Almyrida is a small seaside resort situated in a sheltered bay with several sandy beaches with Blue Flag status, perfect for swimming. The village has a good selection of family-friendly tavernas along the beach front, some with seating on the beach, perfect for a relaxed meal. There are several little supermarkets, a pharmacy, souvenir shops and a couple of bakers.
For the active, there is a scuba diving and snorkelling company based in the village and, in the summer, canoes and windsurfing boards are available for hire on the beach front. There are many beautiful walks in the countryside around Almyrida.

Chris and I live in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, a little market town near Bath.
The villa is our second home which we visit in the spring and autumn. We lend it to family and friends and, for a few weeks in the summer, rent it out to visitors. The villa has the appropriate rental certificates from the Greek government (EOT) and we pay Greek tax on the income.
We love the villa, Almyrida and all that Crete has to offer, and enjoy helping others to experience the same. We know what makes a holiday property good for those visiting it and ensure the property is well maintained and equipped for comfort.

Why they chose this property
We chose this property for ourselves because it is really only a very short walk to a very attractive and accessible beach (Blue Flag status) and a good choice of tavernas, bars and little shops. Several of the restaurants allow you to sit out on the beach, marvellous in the warm evenings.
Almyrida is considered one of the best seaside resorts in Crete for a tranquil environment. There is plenty to do in Almyrida itself - walking, swimming, water sports, snorkelling and scuba diving.
The villa has four terraces/balconies on different sides of the villa which can be used to seek shade or sun. The shared patio areas are spacious.
The villa is well-designed and tastefully decorated. It is spacious enough for 6 people to be comfortable.
Lastly, it is good value for money compared to other villas with pools.
